Chapter Twenty-Three : Thousand Years
"Siddharth didn't kill Durga Devi?" asked a girl's voice shocked , and Roshni was all the more shocked , she wanted to see who was talking to whom.
"No he didn't , I did. I framed him into believing that he killed her!" a guy boasted and Roshni was in tears , she peeped out only to see Rajveer and Misha standing there.
She wanted to confront them but stopped , she needed to reach Siddharth before that. He wasn't in the best of his health and she couldn't leave him alone even for a moment now.
She never believed Rajveer but today he had spoken something that was in her heart from days. Siddharth hadn't killed her mom , he was made to believe that he did.
Roshni knew her Siddharth was innocent , she didn't know how but she just knew he was and now her belief had gotten more strong. She would get him back even if that meant saying sorry to him a thousand times!
"Siddharth pick up the phone.." she yelled in frustration , why was he ignoring her calls for god's sake. This was when everything was turning right and was still so wrong.
"Let me go check on the house!" she spoke to herself and the next minute she was punching herself at her stupidity.
"I don't even know where he's staying since he moved out from our apartment.!!" Roshni was almost on the verge of crying now , how could destiny be so cruel.
"This isn't the time to cry Roshni." she cheered herself up and called every contact she had to get to know where he was staying.
That was when she got a call from Siddharth's cell phone. Immediately picking it up she didn't think twice and yelled at him ,"How could you , you idiot. Are you fine? I was so scared , where are you. I'm coming , why aren't you speaking now?"
"Sorry ma'am Siddharth is going through a chemo session right now so his phone's out of his reach at the moment, anything important?" a voice asked her making her embarrassed and teary-eyed.
She cut the call and rushed towards the hospital , she admired the guy who loved her more than himself lying there with a frown.
"You will no longer be sad Siddharth , I'm there for you at every step now. Main bhatak gayi thi , I thought you killed my mom , how could I , how could you think so as well?" she mumbled and then completed all the formalities.
She asked the hospital authorities to escort him in a car , he was totally surprised but obviously he didn't think much of it.
Roshni was smart enough to reach his house before his knowledge , she had got to know his house from her contacts , after all she was Silent rockstar , she made all arrangements she thought were necessary and he deserved.
As he stepped inside the house a melody filled his heart and his heart started beating at an unimaginable pace. As soon as he heard her voice , he was speechless , Roshni was here for him. But would she stay?

She approached him in the darkness and switched the dim lights on which made him admire her through the limited light that came , she still looked the most beautiful woman to him.
Her heart pounded in her chest , it was so tough to sing when her feelings were bursting out and all she wanted was to cry in front of him.
One step closer
As they reached a step closer the distance created in the past few days vanished slowly and it was as if those times were getting erased by a magical eraser.

Roshni finally reached beside him and his face was clear to her now. He had never looked more handsome , even though he'd come from the hospital just now.
Siddharth heard her words , that she has loved him and will love ahead as well. He was overwhelmed to such an extent that he pulled her for an hug not being able to contain it anymore within himself.
Time stands still

I will not let anything take away
This was the moment that time should've given up and let them dwell in the paradise of reunion. Siddharth released her from the hug and planted a long kiss on her forehead.
Roshni couldn't thank god enough that she could still hold him in her arms , he could get anyone but he chose her. She was the most special person because he wanted her!

One step closer
No longer had she thought this ,she started crying hard. He heard her almost shivering and tried to pull her away to wipe her tears but she didn't budge.
"I'm so sorry...please let me cry!" was all that came from her mouth and he didn't know why she was in so much pain , he just knew he couldn't bear it.
"Ab toh chemo sessions bhi kar liye maine , still crying?" he asked trying to lighten up the mood earning a punch from her in return.
He burst out giggling and so did she , they looked at each other in between stealing glances and that was when Roshni gently snuggled closer to him.
"Does this mean we're together again?" Siddharth questioned and roshni met his eyes before speaking ,"If you can forgive me please."
"For what? Last I knew you had to forgive me!" Siddharth spoke lowering his eyes in shame ,how could he even look at her without guilt now.
She cupped his face and made him face her only to see tears in his eyes and one drop falling on her palm. He was blaming himself , this was totally done by Misha!
"You haven't done anything , I have. I pushed you , how could you even think you killed my mom , you couldn't even kill rocky!" she said almost controlling herself.
Flashback
"Siddharth why are you scared of Rocky for Merlin's sake? He's harmless , come on say Hi to him." she said outstretching his hand forcefully.
"No I don't like him , I'll kill him someday. He's sick and disgusting!" Siddharth said moving in the room leaving Roshni alone with Rocky.
"He won't kill you , he's shit scared of you." Roshni murmured to Rocky. That night Rocky sneaked in Siddharth's bed scaring him more but he didn't fight him.
Siddharth couldn't even kill Rocky and next morning he had disappeared , Roshni had been utterly disappointed.
"You yourself scared him away but you couldn't kill him." she mused teasing him while he couldn't understand her love for a cockroach and naming him Rocky!
Present
Roshni found it hard to contain her laughter in anymore and was rolling on the floor laughing and Siddharth faked anger but soon was mesmerized by her.
"I wish you keep smiling like this always Roshni!" he said and she looked him deeply , with all the love she had and keeping her head on his shoulder spoke , "As long as you're with me , I'm the happiest.!"
They both had been apart for long , there were a 100 things to be talked about but they could wait for now. Roshni knew Siddharth was still recovering from his chemo session and hence she put him to sleep.
"Come on baby sleep." she pestered him when she observed him keenly looking at her , she stroked his hair only to make him clutch her tighter.
"Will you leave me once I sleep?' he questioned his fear genuinely making her go all in awe of this guy she loved more deeply than he knew.
"I know you think it's easier for me but I've suffered just as much as you have Siddharth , I know I can't live without you and I know you didn't do anything wrong , you didn't kill my mom!" she spoke with such conviction that he had to trust her.
Roshni slept beside him to confirm to his fears and he stared at her , no one of them was aware of the distance between them and they joined their lips in no time.
It was a sweet union of two hungry souls , Siddharth pushed her hair back comfortingly while she held his face in her small hands.
Just when Roshni realized it was moving ahead she stopped him , she wanted it more than ever but just not now.
"Main bhi ye chahti hun Siddharth , utna hi jitna tum chahte ho pr tum theek nahi ho. First you need to rest please." she pleaded and he smiled before pecking her lips one last time.
He kept holding her close and slept with a peaceful smile ,she kissed that smile. Waking up in the morning the first thing Siddharth saw was her face on his chest and he couldn't be a more happy man!
