What a movie and how good SRK acted.
Sawdesh and Chak De - SRK rocks !!

One of my most fav films of SRK. And clearly one of SRK's best films. I still get goosebumps when i hear the Chak De India title song. <3 N SRK's 60 Min speech. <3 Brilliantly directed film with amazing performances. N ya, SRK looked like a dream in this one.

Loved this movie...srk was really good...

Having said that, the entire movie was a copy (of course without giving credits) ...and yes even the Sattar minute scene ...so for that...shame on writer/producer

This will always remain one of my most fav movies.

Shah Rukh Khan thought Chak De! India' is one of his worst ever movies. SRK made this revelation at the University of Edinburgh.

Chak De! India' remains one of Shah Rukh Khan's most celebrated works till date. But guess what? King Khan himself was not initially confident of the movie doing well at the box-office. Infact, the superstar thought it's one of his worst ever movies. SRK made this revelation at the University of Edinburgh while addressing a student's question relating to the highlights of his film career.

"We had some of the brightest minds making the film like Aditya Chopra, Jaideep Sahni, Shimit Amin. We had young girls who learnt how to play hockey. We had Yash Chopra backing it. But when I saw the film at it's first screening, we all looked at it and felt it was the worst film we had ever made in our lives.The girls didn't know this because for them seeing themselves on screen for the first time was a big thing. So they were irritatingly screaming and dancing while the four us were sitting there and crying. We had reached that stage of failure where you start telling people listen we did what we wanted to. This what we set out to make and success and failure is transient and we will come back. It was really really sad," he said.

Revealing how the universal success of the film took him aback, SRK said, "After the screening, Shimit ran away to America, I came to Engand and all of us dispersed. I switched off my phone and went to sleep. I woke up at 4 in the evening after an intake of lot of alcohol as I was very depressed because we thought the film was good and it turned out not so nice. So I woke up at 4 and it was 9 in the morning in India. And by then everybody, the whole country had loved the film and it was such a huge success that we actually didn't believe it."

Great movie..great performances...SRK was phenomenal but CDI girls are equally good too..

Brilliant movie, story, the patriotic feelings it gave plus the reality of hows sports other than cricket is treated. Also no forced love story.
