^^ that's the main part of the show, I mean Sita's exile... they have built their Ram very well, hope they are able to keep the essence of him intact
What do u guys think , did 2nd exile ever happened??
Growing in south of IndiaI wasn't even aware of second exile or the story of Lav,Kush for longEven now many don't knowFor us it ends with agnipariksha(I have problem with that too)But be it was just a later additionThe one who wrote it interpreted himself 😕

It's in Valmiki Ramayana na but someone in the TB comments was saying Valmiki didn't write itThen Tulsidas write it maybeWhatever it's still a doubt whether it happened or not , also ppl get confused with versions and dont know which version had what.. and as u said many know Kamba Ramayana more than Valmiki, even Tulsidas is more popular than Valmiki
Ramavataram, popularly referred to as Kamba Ramayanam, is a Tamil epic that was written by the Tamil poet Kamban during the 12th century. Based on Valmiki's Ramayana (which is in Sanskrit), the story describes the life of King Rama of Ayodhya. However, Ramavatharam is different from the Sanskrit original in many aspects - both in spiritual concepts and in the specifics of the storyline. This historic work is considered by both Tamil scholars and the general public as one of the greatest literary works in Tamil literature.
Kamban wrote this epic with the patronage of Thiruvennai Nallur Sadayappa Vallal, a Pannai kula chieftain ( ). In gratitude to his patron, Kamban references his name once in every 1,000 verses.
The epic is quite well known, both in the Tamil literary world and in the Hindu spiritual world, for the colorfulness of its poetry and for its religious
The book is divided into six chapters, called Kandam () in Tamil.
