There has been enough criticism of the new wonder woman from her costume to galdot as the character. I'm not the only one there are thousands of hardcore comic book readers who are pissed off about it. She was much more badass in the cartoons and she was not this stick thin at all. I'm on mobile so can't copy paste links but galdot herself tried to explain it all but she neither looks like Wonder woman nor her dress. She was also a pretty weak sauce in the movie with her stunts.
No there are not. I am yet to see a serious argument from the so called WW fans whose only complain is that she is thin. I am pretty active in online DC communities. It mostly comes from random Facebook pages and trolls.
Gal's WW and Ben's Batman were the universally praised aspects of otherwise a pretty divisive movie.
And no she wasn't more badass in the comics nor in the animate series. She is about 20 min in the whole movie and half of that time is spent chopping of Doomsday's arms and legs. Sure she is not badass.
As for the size, again watch JLA and then compare. She is literally the same size. And WW doesn't need to be a heavyweight. She is an amazon, gifted with super-strength.
Gal doesn't look like WW or her dress isn't the WW costume? Yeah sure.
Its called being being familiar with the material.
