Anushka.

Deepika is extremely average as an actress and only her gorgeous looks make people think she is some beauty with great acting. Cos some pretty actresses can't act like Katrina/Aishwarya so people go crazy for Deepika but she is a very very average actress.

Plus her voice is annoying.

Anushka in NH10 >>>>> better than any performance of DP ever.

Had I not seen RNBDJ, NH10, BBB..I might've said Deepika is better because of all those huge films with huge heroes, OSO, YJHD, Piku, chennai ex.., cocktail..she is good but not better than Anushka. Anu is a natural..in not one scene in her debut film, did I feel I am looking at a rookie actress..and NH10 was like a slice of real life, it was like she really is this person..and I'm not talking about the direction or film. I've seen other actresses in slice of life films, they are not all like Anu. In PK, she didn't let Aamir steal the thunder from under her nose..she subtly adapted her acting to what a masala type film requires..not OTT, but not underplaying.

Deepika has played lots of roles to die for against the biggest and best, but so what? I would still say Konkona sen who did Wake Up Sid, PAge 3, Life in a Metro, Daayan, Luck by Chance is better than Kareena kapoor who did 50 more roles opposite the biggest heroes and best banners.

2008-2012 - Anushka wins by FAR

Post 2013, Deepika has caught up SO much. Is she on Anushka's level? I don't know...

She was flawless in all her films last year. I preferred Deepu in Tamasha/Piku over Anu in NH10/DDD!

They are both great. I would say they're on the same level. But I think I prefer Deepika nowadays.

As of today, Deepika. I said it last year again and again that her 2013 only proved that DP was an actress. But 2015 has proven that she is a great actress. I haven't seen Tamasha, but she was phenomenal in Piku and even her Mastani. And she's had the opportunity to get such varied roles and smart enough to pick the right ones for her. I think all that remains for her at this point is a villainous role, and she'll really have done it all. Anushka may have been more talented at the start, but DP has grown to be a stupendous actor in her own right. And has the filmography for it to count.

Anushka's been a fave since day 1 (pehla pyaar and all 😆) but I did lose hope last year with DDD. But it came back once I saw BV. The biggest gripe with her is that she only does loud, bubbly characters, so I was very surprised to see her play the shy and vulnerable Rosie with such nuance. Especially considering that was the movie that revealed the full extent of her face job. If I have to describe Anushka, it's sorta like the "little engine that could". The moment you think she's done, there's no way she can bounce back from xyz, she manages to somehow 😆

I love Anu. She is my Shruti Kakkar.

And I love Dipu too. She is awesome.

Both of them are at par with each other. Voted for Dipla coz Currently, she is slightly ahead of Anu in acting.

PS - by the way, I can understand why current bhabhiji is winning. 😉 😆
