Chapter 4

Oberoi Mansion

Shivaay in his room finishing up with his video conferences.

Shiv: Okay Mr.Raichand, so if you agree with the terms and conditions then I can have the papers ready for you Monday morning.

Mr.R: Yeah that sounds good Mr.Oberoi, Just send the papers over once they are ready.

Shiv: Alright Mr.Raichand, I'll have them sent. Good day!

As Shivaay closes his laptop, he reaches for his phone in his pocket and has he gets his phone Annika's bracelet falls on the floor. As he picks it up he remembers the both them being so close in the pool & her face. Her face was so perfectly clear in the moon light and how she held onto me.

Shivaay stand up.

Shiv: Shivaay what are you thinking about? Why are still thinking about her and what happened in the pool? I've apologized for what I did so why am I always thinking about her. *As he says this, Om walks in*

Om: Who are you thinking about always? He asked with a smile

Shiv turned to face Om surprised to see him here. Om noticed the bracelet in his hand.

Om: Arey you still have the bracelet with you think long?

Shiv: Actually never got the time to give it to her. *As he says this he puts the bracelet in his pocket*

Om: Accha, at least now you've got the time. She is in the kitchen making your cake. Just go give it to her! Unless there's another reason to why you don't want to give it make. He says with a smile

Shiv: Om please, aisa kuchh bhi nahin hai. I'll go and give to her right now.

Shivaay leaves his room and heads towards the kitchen. Om is left smiling and says kuch na kuch hai.

Annika in the kitchen working on the cake batter and talking to Rudra.

R: Didi do you need any help?

Anni: No Rudra I'm fine but you could definitely give me company.

R: Okay. Goes to sit on the countertop. Didi your cake was just amazing that day and the cake is definitely going to be the highlight of the whole engagement.

As Rudra says this Shivaay walks in

Anni: Why? Isn't your bhaiya's engagement the highlight?

R: Have you met Lady baba?

Anni: Kaun?

R: Tia... Shivaay bhai's fianc.

Anni: Tumare hone vaale bhabi hai, you shouldn't call her lady baba. Give her some respect Rudra.

R: But aap use nahin jaanate hai.

Anni: I don't need to know her. But you do! She is you bhai's choice so you need to consider that there's more to her. Do you really like your bhai will bring a girl that isn't fit for this family. I know your bhai is a lot of things but he can do anything for is family. As she says this she empties the cake batter into the pan and puts it into the oven and set the timer for 45 mins.

R: But di bhai doesn't love her. You tell me is there a point to a marriage if there's no love?

Anni: I don't know if he's in love or not but haan if there's no love there isn't a successful marriage. But it doesn't seem like your brother doesn't believe in love.

R: What do you mean?

Anni: I mean if he can love and care for his brothers, his dadi, then why doesn't he believe in love? There's definitely more too it.

R: what else could there be?

Anni: I don't know, but it seems like from what you're saying that he's scared of falling in love or something.

Hearing this leaves Shivaay shocked and outraged.

Shiv: Rudra!! Do you have nothing else better to do? Why are you talking to her? Aur tum... *Looking at Annika* I'm paying you to make my engagement cake not to talk my brother.

R: Bhai I was the one who came here and was giving her company. So please..

Anni: It's okay Rudra, and Mr:Oberoi *looking at Shivaay* I know I'm here to make the cake. I know very well how to do my work and talk to someone at the time.

Timer went off for the oven. Annika turned around to the oven and took the cake out. Shivaay leaves from there.

R: Woow di, the cake smells really good.

Anni: Thank you, but there's still more work to be done. Need to cool it for a bit before I frost the cake.

As Annika was preparing frosting of the cake, Rudra left and came to Omkara's studio.

R: Bhai I think I have an idea to cancel the engagement.

Om: What is it?

R: why don't we send the picture of Bhaiya and Annika to a new channel and spread a new of Bhaiya's secret love affair?

Om: Tum paagal ho gaye ho kya? Did you even think through this plan?

R: Kya bhai, it's such a good plan!

Om: No it's such a bad plan, with this plan you won't be just ruining Shivaay's but also your Annika didi's name as well. They won't be able to show their faces and on top of that the differences between them will increase.

R: I don't believe that, maybe it might bring them closer and it will definitely give bhaiya more time to think about his life partner. Most of all the engagement will get called off.

Om: I don't know about this. If a news like this comes out Shivaay will not stop until he gets to the bottom of sources.

R: We'll think about that later. We don't have much time kal sangaee hai. We'll think about what bhaiya will do after. Are you with or not bhai?

Om: haan yaar, and at the same time it doesn't look like Tia so the reporters will buy the news if we send the picture.

Both of them head to Rudra's room and getting ready to send the picture to NTV reporter through a fake email account. Once they send it Rudra prays to the angels to make our plan work and to break Shivaay's sangaee.
