Rey singhania holidaying with his brother's ex-wife in Miami.
She read the headline of the newspaper and had an urge to narrow her eyes. She frowned, how people still take her as Ryan's ex wife who is now dating Rey, her ex-husband's brother where as she wanted people to take her & rey as two individual who had come together because they feel something for each other.
If reports are to believed, She was the reason behind Rey and his ex-wife Nisha's split.
Taani read the article further and choked on her coffee as she read the content.
"W*F! How can they even write this." Taani huffed in annoyance and put the newspaper away since her happy-mood was ruined.
"What happened, sugar?" Came a soothing voice from behind and she very well knew the owner.
"Nothing. Just some stupid news." Taani answered him. Rey slumped down on the couch next to her and pulled her on his lap.
"Don't take the article seriously, specially when you know its Nisha's best friend who wrote the article." Rey tucked a strand of her hair and placed a sweet peck on her lips.
"I know but thats ridiculous to bring me in your & her split. I was no where in the picture then-" Taani sighed heavily.
"Whole world knows that, everyone know its Nisha & Ryan who cheated and their child is proof of their infidelity. And since our relationship is out in public, Nisha is using it to save her reputation which was ruined earlier due to her mine & her divorce." Rey explained it to her.
"I understand." Taani gave a small smile to him.
"Good! Now get ready, we are going for shopping." Rey told her, taani nodded and went to get ready where as Rey made to Nisha.
"Why are you doing this?" Rey asked her in sharp tone as soon as she picked up the call.
"You know that, sweetheart. I want you back." Came a reply from the other side, Rey narrowed his eyes at her sultry seductive tone.
"Not gonna happen, Nisha! Quit dreaming and remembering one thing, one more cheap trick to degrade taani, i will finish you." Rey warned her in no-nonsense tone and ended the call.

"Rey!"
"Yes, sugar."
Rey turned to her, who was wrapped in white sheet. He smiled, it gives him peace to have her in his life.
"I want to say something to you." Taani mumbled softly. Rey hummed in response, he wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her in his arms.
"Say." He whispered, nuzzling his face in crook of her neck.
Taani fidget with her fingers nervous, she wanted to confess but was little nervous.
But then, hasn't she come out of her insecurities and truly wants to be with him?
Pushing the nervousness in back of her head, she look at him. She took a deep breath and confessed.
"I love you."
