- | Chapter Five | -

Taani crawled back on the bed to get away from him while he stood there, staring at her like a predator stare at his prey before attack.

"Er..Richie Rich, quit the staring. It makes you look like a villain from a b-grade hindi film." Taani giggled at her own joke and peeped at him, hoping he would quit whatever plans he was having and let her go.

"Don't. Don't you even think i will let you go easily." He snapped at her, reading her thoughts which came as a surprise to her.

"Why did you brought me here?" Taani composed herself and questioned him in sharp crisp tone. Instead of answering her, he moved toward her. He got hold of her ankle and pulled her down, making her lay down on the bed as he hovered over her body.

"Richie Rich-" She trailed off. She felt fuzzy inside having him hovering over herself and looking into her eyes like. When she couldn't withstand his intense gaze, she lowered her eye lashes.

"Sh. Do you know the girl you disrespected earlier?" Rey lifted her chin and asked her. Taani nodded her head negatively, but she was curious to know about the girl.

"The girl was my best friend and i won't tolerate a word against her. Next time think twice before you talk rudely to her, it won't be good for you." Rey said to her in dangerous low tone. Her brows knitted together in confusion but as his words sinked in, a sudden gush of anger coursed through her vein.

"Done? Now listen to me, Richie Rich. I talk to people the way i please. She might be your best friend but not mine." Taani told him in sharp tone, surprising him yet again with her boldness. When he talk, people shiver in fear but here the girl was answering him at every point. There was no trace of fear in her eyes and somewhere, he liked that.

"Little fireball." He muttered under his breath. Composing himself, he stare down at her.

"Why are you so rude to people? Little sweetness won't do any bad to you-"

"Don't you know, i am allergic to sweetness-" Taani answered him back and smirked at him.

"I like things spicy." Taani added with a wink.

"Want me to spice things up?" Rey leaned closer, bridging the gap between their lips. Taani narrowed her eyes and placed her palm on his chest, stopping him.

"You are going off the track." She reminded him.

"Fine! Lets get back on track." Rey groaned in annoyance and look at her.

"You will not disrespect me or people associate to me. Your this kind of behavior might be tolerable in your house, but not here." Rey commanded her in sharp, stern tone which had her rolling her eyes at him.

"And you really think i am gonna listen to you? I am not gonna change myself for anyone, i will behave the way i am, take it or leave it." Taani answered him back, letting him know she was not going to bend down infront his dominating nature.

"And one more thing, just because we kissed, doesn't mean you own me now. I am a person of my own and you better keep that in mind." Taani added further, looking into his eyes which were red due to fury but it had no affect over her. Anger of a person doesn't scare her at all, she had seen alot in her life which made her strong. She had been punching bag of her siblings till she hit 15. The physical abuse of her siblings stopped when she started fighting back, but the emotional torture never stopped, turning a sweet spoken girl into a stone-hearted girl.

Taani pushed him off her and was about to get up, but he held her elbow and pulled her back. Taani opened her mouth to say something but before she could, she felt his warm lips on her. He kissed her aggressively, chewing her lips mercilessly shocking her with his sudden action, she gripped his hair and responded back to his kiss with same wildness as his.

"f**k!" Rey broke the kiss and moved away from her as the guilt hit him hard. He never wanted to hurt her like this, it was not him. But some unknown rage blinded him, leading him to behave like a while animal with her. He stare at her lips which were bruised and swollen.

"bas***d." Taani was panting heavily, she opened her eyes and look at him with her eyes spitting fire.

"I am not gonna bend down infront of you, not matter what you try. Sweetness or Roughness." Taani stated as matter of the fact tone. She removed his grip off her and walked out of his room while he was too lost to react.

"Damn! This girl is making me insane. Next its better i control my anger around her." Rey's inner voice said to him and to an extend, he agreed with himself. Taani was an immature, stubborn yet adorable girl and dealing with her, with anger won't help him at all.
