- | Chapter Three | -
It was around 4 in the morning when she started to get up from her peaceful sleep. She groaned and opened her eyes sleepily, the unendurable headache was uncomfortable. She cursed under her breath and looked around the dark room. The surroundings were unfamiliar, sending a chill down her spine.
Taani frowned, it wasn't her room then where is she? She turned her head and found a man sleeping beside her. A man? Taani thought to herself and her eyes widen as the realization sinked it. She shot up and sat on the bed. The first thing she did, was checked her clothes.
"Phew!" She took a sigh of relief finding herself properly dressed, then she turned to the man sleeping beside her. She peeped at his side to see him. Her eyes popped out of their respective sockets when she realized its him. Reyaansh Singhania.
"WHAT THE F*CK AM I DOING IN YOUR BED?" Taani screamed at top of her voice.
"f**k!" Rey jolted up from his sleep and looked around, he frowned when his gaze fall over her. He switched on the lights of the room and turned to her.
"Why are you screaming?" Rey asked her confusingly.
"Then how do you expect me to react finding myself in my best friend's brother's bed?" Taani questioned him fiercely, pointing her finger at him.
"Put some pressure on your brain, sweetie. You will remember how you ended up here." Rey narrowed his eyes at her as he finished speaking. The girl sitting infront of him on his bed, never fail to surprise him with her feisty nature.
Taani closed her eyes and trying to remember what happened last night. She knew when she is drunk, she loose her mind and end up doing things she shouldn't do and thats the reason she avoid drinking most of the times.
Though she couldn't remember whatever happened last night, but she could see faint images of herself and him. And the last was the kiss she shared with his last night.
Taani lifted her hand and touched her lips trying feel the feel of his lips against her lips. She couldn't feel anything physically but emotionally, she could.
"Girl! Don't let your emotions rule you." Her subconscious mind told her. Her eyes snapped open and she look at him.
"How dare you stole my first kiss?" Taani accused him, she pushed him making him fall on his back on the bed and she straddles him.
"Last time i check, it was you who initiated the kiss." Rey mumbled, running his hand down on her bare thigh, sending uncountable shiver down her spine.
"Really?" Taani asked him, not being able to believe him.
"Yes! Now stop behaving like a bechari-abla-naari, you enjoyed the kiss." Rey said to her, earning a smack on his chest from her.
"Stop being a jerk." She snapped at him causing him to chuckle.
"Someone is on their time of the month." Rey muttered under his breath but nevertheless, she heard him.
"I heard that." Taani huffed and look at him with a pout.
"Can you go and bring some lemonade for me? Taani said to him, rubbing her temple. Rey look at her, knowing she must be having headache due to hangover.
"First say please-" Rey smirked at her.
"In your dreams, Richie Rich. Now go and bring lemonade for me." Taani ordered him causing him narrow his eyes at her.
"As you say, kiddo." Rey mocked her.
"You kissed this kiddo last night." Taani retorted back, offended to call a kiddo by him. Taani got off him and sat on the bed with annoyed expressions.
"And i would love to do it again." He answered her back almost immediately. Taani felt blush crept up on her cheeks. Rey kissed her cheeks and walked out of the room to get lemonade for her.
"Great going, tannu! 4 meets and you are in his bed already, flirting with him, wow!" Her inner conscious mocked her. She knew she is attracted to her best friend's brother and to many level, its wrong.

"Here." Rey handed the glass to her, taani thanked him and gulped down the drink in one go.
"I should leave now." Taani said loud, glancing at the clock which showed 4.45 in the morning.
"Its too early. Wait for some more time then i will drop you home safely." Rey said to her since he was worried about her safety. At this time she won't get any vehicle to reach home.
Rey slumped down on bed next to her. He couldn't believe he was doing so much things for her, he had never been a guy who care about anyone apart from his family and childhood best-friend, Shilpa. And here, he was making lemonade and worrying about safety of his brother's best friend.
"Richie Rich!" Taani called out for him.
"Yes, taani." Rey mumbled, he turned his head and look at her.
"Thanks for handling me last night, for not taking advantage of this drunk girl." Taani whispered softly, looking into his eyes. Rey look at her, the sincerity he saw in her eyes, made him smile. There was so much to her, She had so much shades which got Rey intrigued. He wanted to know her. He wanted to discover more about her.

"Taani! Girl, where did you disappeared last night from the party? I got so worried." Aryan hugged her when he noticed her in living area of his mansion in the morning.
"I passed out in one of your guest room. But i am surprised you noticed my absence, i though you might be busy with that chick." Taani let out a chuckle at the end of her sentence.
"Girl! You are my bestie, offcourse i will be worried for my bestie, a drunk bestie to be precise." Aryan told her in serious tone.
"Yea! Yea! You deserve best-friend-of-the-year-award." Taani grinned ear to ear as she replied him.
"Now where is that Richie rich? He promised to drop me home." Taani mumbled, looking around for Rey but he was nowhere to be seen.
"Are you talking about my brother?" Aryan asked her confusingly. Taani gave a short nod to him in response.
"He promised to drop you? Really?" Aryan questioned her, surprised to know about his brother and his kindness toward his best friend.
"Yea! Is it hard to believe?" Taani wriggled her brows and look at him suspiciously.
"Bro and being kind to unknown people is hard to believe. I mean for the world, he is Reyaansh Singhania, The arrogant, dominating man who don't care about anyone but his family." Aryan replied. Taani look at him and shrugged, she herself doesn't know the reason behind mr. richie rich's kindness toward her.
But not thinking too much about it, she shrugged off her thoughts and turned to Aryan.
"May be i am too irresistible." Taani joked, grinning at him. Aryan narrowed his eyes at her, was about to retort back when he saw his brother approaching them.
"Good morning, bro!"
"Good morning, Aryan." Rey smiled at his brother then turned to taani.
"Richie rich, are you going to drop me or should i go myself? You have already kept me waiting for half an hour-" Taani asked him arrogantly. She had never been used to people make her wait and it irked her when he did.
Aryan cursed under his breath and signaled taani to keep quiet since talking to his brother like this, could make her victim of his brother's wrath.
"Lets go, Kiddo!" Rey narrowed his eyes and told her. He grabbed his keys and walked away from there. Taani turned to Aryan, who was shocked with the happenings, she giggled and waved at him.
"I will meet you in college." Saying that, Taani ran out of the mansion.
