@ anu...brilliant observation that you require an added sensitivity to be overwhelmed to the extent that your rationale cannot curb the urge to express yourself anymore.
the point is, however, that armaan has kept a tight leash around his feelings all this while and intensity of his love was seeking release, one way or the other. when the soul finds its counterpart in another, all logic is blown out of the window and irrepressible need to be one with the divinity that is love consumes you.
the kiss and the confession are testimony to this very thought. though in his imagination, it was the first and note the plea in his voice, it is call of the fifth sense to finally find release to all the pent up emotion. the confession was bound to happen. the words he spoke were conjoined in his psyche with the name ridhima and whether on stage or elsewhere, once the words were out of his mind, the intellect could not control the name that followed to it.
i am going to go out on a limb here and say it was that very overwhelming need that prompted his diatribe last night. he was not angry, but a soul in anguish...in tremendous pain and a great deal of frustration that his efforts and love have born him no fruition.
