Actually I was feeling the same that Star Sita will keep her hair open like draupadi untill Ram will come and give him punishment for his cruel deeds.
And no wonder that Ram look also change that he will return to his normal only when he will kill Ravan who had kidnapped his wife. And lakshman will also follow this and his look will also change !!!!😆😆

Utkarsh needs to read Valmiki Ramayana again! I doubt he even read it once. Lakshman had the utmost respect for women and never once uttered a word against them.

When Sita accuses him of staying back due to lust for her, only then does Lakshman respond cuttingly and accuse her of not thinking right, but never once does he make derogatory remarks against womankind. He considered Sita his mother, and he considered every woman in the world besides Urmila his sister. He gave womankind the same respect that Ram gave.

He cut the nose of Shurpanakha and Ayomukhi (another rakshasi from Valmiki Ramayana) only because they were behaving immorally, and in Shurpanakha's case attempting to attack his mother-like Sita.

Like if there was anything else left to spoil his already butchered characterization

I am infact curious to know what he says mean about women , though i am sure there isnt in Valmiki ramayan

These CV's look to have personal vendetta for Sita and lakshman erscpecially , didnt leave anything to their character , even Ruma's , how the hell waas she supposed to say this to hanuman , dont come near my husband 😡😡

As for Sita's suicide attempt, never once does she think of killing herself. She waits for Ram to come and kill Ravan, and her confidence is such that she knows Ram will come, and she knows he will punish Ravan for his sins.

Sita contemplating suicide is akin to losing confidence in Ram, and never once did that happen. When Ravan is kidnapping Sita and she's in the pushpak vimaan, she speaks in a calm and controlled manner to him, but each of her words drip with venom and anger. She speaks in such a way that Ravan's self-confidence is broken, though he hides it. Here, Ravan cannot take Sita seriously due to her screeching and immature behavior.

The only time Sita even thinks about death is during Sundar Kand, when it is nearly 10 months since she has been kidnapped and Ravan threatens to kill her in two more months if she does not submit to him.

Sita holds her braid and states that if Ram does not come for her in two months, she will end her life, but never does she attempt suicide, because she knows Ram will come.

Madirakshi was fine during the Lakshman rekha. It is during Sita Haran that her acting goes downhill.

Except for Sita's emotional blackmail, the lakshman rekha sequence was pretty good.

Ya absolutely , The best part of Ashok Vatika scenes were Sita's resolve and her utmost trust and confidence in the 2 most important men of her life , that she will be going back after they anhilate lanka

I liked it, but I actually wanted to see more of the passion, fire and anger from her.

She's been bashing Lakshman till now, why did she become so tame during the one scene in which Sita does blast Lakshman?

Karan was superb in every way, and even Madirakshi was better than usual, but the scene lacked the fire and intensity of Valmiki's.
