Congratulations Sandy on the new thread!

I have read it and I am not sure what I can say about this chapter. It was heavy and heartfelt. Everyone is hurting and some have loved ones to fall back on but a lonely and lost mother who is shielding herself from further hurt by alienating herself from her surviving children. I never thought I will say this but I am really saddened by Aarti. Don't we all take that route of escapism when the hurt become unbearable.

Akash and Arnav had La and Khushi to fall back on. Some light in the darkness surrounding them.

I adore the characterization of La. The more I read about her the more I fall for her after Madhu.

You captured it beautifully... "The dull and deathly quiet at Ashirwad market the arrival of the storm and the worst of it had yet to surface"

To answer your question 1, for me the story had really started from the word go... but a few pieces of the puzzle may fall into its place in the near future happened from Chapter 14.
