Ranveer was standing in the corridor watching the scene going below...
Shekar was completely lost in Ishani's charm.. where Ishani distributing prasad to every one and getting blessings from elders, stood there near Amba and was about to ask something where Amba herself started, ''Ishani.. meet him he is Shekar , our neighbour in the home town..'', then she turned to Shekar where she was up to say something Shekar forwarded his hand towards Ishani to shake with hers,''Hi Ishani..'', where Ishani folded her both hands in front of him,''namasty'', where Shekar a bit realising kept his hand back and quickly folded in the same way,''ooops yeah so..sorry sorry, I mean namasty'', Ishani passed a formal smile to him, where Baa came forward and addressed Shekar,''she is Ranveer's wife", where it made Shekar's hue fade away, he uttered a flattered sentense,''y..you.. ma...married?", Ishani saw him with a doubt, and nodded her head histerically, as not getting what the question actually meant.., where Shekar recovered from the shock quickly and spoke,''I mean you are married to my childhood friend?, then it means you are my one n only bhabhi and I m your one n only dewar...,I mean Wow...'',
where Ishani nodes her head with a made up smile,
No one but the person standing above them had sensed the reality.
Ranveer walked away.. he shut the door of his room behind him, and sat in the bed both of his hands holding bed, he was staring at the floor,his hands increasing the force on bed , slowly his breath turned into light sobs.., he instantly lifted his head towards ceiling, tears left his eyes, ''what are YOU..,hmmm , why You do this?. You only took away every thing from me, You made me alone You made me part my ways from You, coz You plot against me,ever. but what You did now., You turned me towards You again , how I'll thank You for this blessing, how????,'', he knelt down on floor leaving the bed, his hands covering his face, crying for a while he resumed,''they say it right, You make us accept You by any mean.. You really do.. You made me believe of Your power, no matter what the mean was, by snatching every thing from me, or providing me relief in the...in the form of Shekar...,''where stopping for a while, he resumed, this time with no tear, and spat face,'' but...but I..I do not have anything to give You in exchange, I've nothing left with me..even not my life..., please give me my family's happiness in free.., I promise you can rule my all next lives the way you want, I'll not pray to you to give me anything in all those lives.., you can take them from me, but please..please give me my family's happiness back to them... please'' his hands covering his face, where he was crying again...
after sometime.., he stopped crying and wiped away his tears, then spoke to himself,''stop crying Ranveer, its time to work, God has showed you the path, now start working, and reach the destination as soon as possible".
there was a light knock at the door, he quickly turned his back towards the door, with a slight hit, door got open, and Kailash came in, Ranveer did not turn back, Kailash cleared his throat, where Ranveer got the idea of the one who is standing behind him, he closed his eyes,''I just came with a request'', a low but disappointed voice of Kailash came, Ranveer did say nothing,''actually, Shekar just came today, and I don't want him to get any doubt ,about what's going on in the home, today itself'', Ranveer remained silent, Kailash though doubted but continued,'' if you have any humanity left with you.., then please come to the dining to have your dinner with whole family'', he spoke hesitatingly but still firmly,he now ended his speech,''and I'm not asking for it for family's sake but for Formality's sake..'', Kailash after completing his part left the room, with a no hope face...

all were there on the dinning.. where Ishani was serving the family.., Shekar was continuously looking down, as feeling guilty, Ishani came to him for serving, she noticed his behavior and asked in a concerned voice,'' Shekar ji are you okay'', Shekar lifted his head up,''yup.. absolutely alright'' ,he then looked around,'' aaam ,Ishani ji! Ranveer?", where a sound got his attention, ''I'm here'', whole of the family look towards the direction in disbelief, where Shekar welcomed him with a broad smile..,''for how long I was waiting for You...this much tiredness!!,does your work so hectic?", Ranveer came forward and took the head seat,''i was a bit busy'', every one shared a look to each other, as they regard it not less than a miracle if they look back at their few gone months,
''let's start our dinner'',finished Ranveer no one moved, where Shekar was wondering at their every action,''Ishani ji...will you only serve to your dewar and not your patti dev?'', Ishani though was emotional but managing a bit, she went to Ranveer and served him ladyfinger,she was curiously looking at him, but he was looking the other side...
everyone started to have their food but Ranveer. Shekar while taking a bite,''waaah!, kaki taste of your hand even developed more,, you really cook superb'', Amba passed a smile,'' this is not cooked by me, but Ishani'',Shekar in amazement saw Ishani and then Ranveer,''wow, I mean you are really very lucky Ranveer,your wife cooks so well, and look even she cooked your favourite ladyfinger'', Ranveer was silent, Shekar's monologue was going on,''just taste it bro its really yummm'',
with an utmost difficulty Ranveer took a bite, but he started coughing a lot Ishani quickly brought him water, where he drank it in one go, his eyes turned red, and all had noticed it, ''sorry...'', Ranveer managed to say, no one spoke but Shekar,''hey what happened?'', ''nothing just cough...!, carry on..'' all started to eat, where Ranveer was feeling it hard, but he had to...
after supper every one left the place, Shaker came behind Ranveer, and started to walk along with him by folding his arm around Ranveer's neck, and his monologue started,''hey you are not the one, who left me a score ago..., I mean this much distance, may I ask the reason?, see what you become that your childhood friend is asking for permission,even to ask a question..., you were never like this Ranveer then what happened now'', both of them were now standing in the corridor there faces towards each other but Ranveer was not looking at him, Shekar resumed,''Ranveer! see is there any problem?, then you can share it with me, I'm your oldest friend...,I know you are the one who never ever shared his problems with any one, but I've sniffed something wrong, which everyone is trying to hide from me, and I'm sure it relates to you, coz everyone's expression changed all the time when ever I call your name even'', Ranveer was staring at Shekar, he wanted to embrace him and to cry his heart out, coz Shekar turned out to b the first person who had noticed the right thing, but he could do nothing...not now.''tell me Ranveer, and you can trust me, though there is no need to tell this but for your assurance, you can definitely trust me Ranveer'', Shekar said with a hope,''I trust you Shekar, infect I've no other way'',said Ranveer in a blank voice, where Shekar was unable to interpret his words,, he shook his head,''hmmm, you may take your time Ranveer, but come to me whenever you feel,I'm still your old goloo'',Ranveer stole his gaze from Shekar... ''its time to sleep..good night'',and he started to move towards his room, where he was about to shut the door a figure stood in the mid of the entrance of the room.
Ranveer left the door open, and turned his face to the other side..,''was any thing left'', he asked,his tone annoyed. ''hmmm...something very important was left, which is too necessary to tell you'',came Shekar's soft reply, Ranveer still showing his back to Shekar pointed him to speak,
Shekar started,his tone hesitating now,for the first time,'' aaa...actually Ranveer I want to say sorry to you-actually I should have asked the same to Ishani as well, but I can't do this.., actually I don't have courage to confess my faults in front of her, but surely I've to seek it from you, coz if I won't it would b dishonesty'', he looked at the back of Ranveer,who was still silent,Ranveer was standing closing his eyes,where tears were already rolling down his cheeks, as Shekar got no answer, he resumed, stealing his gaze from Ranveer's back even,''Ranveer I...I'm..'m really sorry'',he now closed his eyes,''actually when I saw Ishani ...I mean Ishani ji for the first time, I...I fell for her, but,but honestly I didn't know at that time, that she is your wife or even she is married, coz her mangalsutra and sindoor was not visible at that time, but I literally felt a shame when I came to know the truth, and after that I was not able to look up, until you came...trust me now onward I will only see her as my bhabhi, but m sorry for my first gaze at her,m really really very sorry..'', Ranveer did not let out a word even now,Shekar got worried this time,''Ranveer please say something, I mean if you want to slap me then slap, if you want me to leave the house, you can tell, please do anything you want but please forgive me please'',Ranveer now spoke absent mindedly,''no need to say sorry at all, its not your fault,forsooth you have given me relief'',
''what do you mean by relief?", asked confused Shekar ,which make Ranveer came into the world of senses, to manage his last spoken words he put thoughtfully,''I mean by making the whole thing clear with me...'', still he was showing his back to Shekar,while the later nodded his head mysteriously ,''good night'', came Ranveer's voice, which made him more confuse, he thought it better to leave the room,for now.
Ranveer came and locked the door, he sighed, ''don't feel ashamed Shekar, rather I needed your these feelings, you made my work a bit easier..'', tears left his eyes, a thought suddenly usurped his mind,''no I need not to behave this much leniently with Shekar,otherwise he will search out whole the truth, no I need to make him hate me,as well.'',he went to sit beside bed, and resting his head on bed side, he started to think...he suddenly took his mobile and dialed a number, and he waited for the called to be picked up,''hello Sir'', came an obedient voice,''yeah hello Puneet,I'm really sorry to disturb you at this hour, actually I had a work for you to b done, tomorrow itself'',said Ranveer in a professional yet soft voice,''its OK sir, and please order it sir'',came Puneet's reply, ''I want new account manager's cabin to b shifted on first floor rather on ground floor, and arrange some kind of slides, so that they can block the view of my cabin's inside for pass byers '',instructed Ranveer,''sure sir, by tomorrow morning I will arrange for that, and don't worry sir, everything will be done before the new manger comes'',finished Puneet with assurance, Ranveer only nodded his head,he then asked,''OK,and let me know have the new selected member of our company left any reply?", thinking for a while, Puneet responded,'' sir I think he haven't checked the mail yet, coz he has given no response'', Ranveer shook his head in disappointment,''OK...let's wait..good night'',said Ranveer,where he heard Puneet giving the same greetings,he cut the call and again rested hi head on bed side.. and started think inking, where sleep took him in its embrace and brought him relief...
Next day morning Ranveer was ready in his perfect RV attire, he came down where he found Shekar at main door's entrance,who was returning from jogging,Shekar when saw Ranveer a smile left his lips automatically,''hey hi bro! how are you doing?, hmmm Mr. Ranveer Vaghela looks too handsome in this way'',he gave an up to down look to Ranveer,where the later was gazing the other way,Shekar resumed, ''hey wait wait, I'm searching for job day and night, if you have your self business then what's the need for searching a job,I mean, I can get it in your office itself,right'', his was so happy on his sudden thought where Ranveer's reply made all his happiness ran away,''I'm running my business not dhramshala,that I'll give job to anyone,its about merit...'', Ranveer finished with last word uttered forcefully, where Shekar was stunned for a while, but he recovered instantly and spoke,''hey what's this haan?,I mean I was just jocking, I know job comes on merit, what's the need to get so hyper'', Ranveer almost yelled upon him,''I don't like jock, mind it now'', his lips were quivering, Shekar who was not getting a single word, tried to lessen the intensity of situation, he put carefully,''hey relax..relax OK ,I'm sorry OK, I'll not do it again OK,just..just relax'',Ranveer started to move where going at some distance he stopped with a thoughtful face, he quickly took his mobile from pocket and pretended to be talking on phone, when he saw Shekar still standing, on the same place, Ranveer started to talk in phone,'' han tell me what you've done for our agreement with 'RV brokers and diamond company', he paused for a while, noticing Shekar a bit stirred while hearing the name of company,''what?!!!, what do you mean by posting haan?, in which century are you living? are these the days meant for posting letters and queries, then what's the use for E-mail'', he uttered his last word quite louder, still noticing Shekar from the corner of his eyes,''stay connected to email if you want to be connected with business world, do you get that,now go and quickly check out the email box'', where he finished the sentence,there he found Shekar moved upstairs...he also left the place...
Shekar quickly ran towards his room,in Vaghela house, he opened his laptop and checked for his mailbox, where he was looking at the screen in disbelief, where he suddenly jumped in joy,which made Ishani to take a back, who was passing by the door of his room. standing there for a while, when she realised that he was jumping in joy, she softly knocked the door, which made him stop instantly, where he ran quickly towards door, and took Ishani's hand in his own,he told her with great enthusiasm,''Ishani ji...Ishani ji I got job, can you believe this?, o my God! I'm still in disbelief'', happiness was dominant in his voice, a smile left Ishani's lips as well,'' wow! that's great, congratulations,and what's there in it not to believe at?'', said Ishani, feeling happy for his happiness,'' no its not like that, but still as they have selected me without interview so it seems strange'' came Shekar's voice, who was now standing straight, now with a thoughtful face,Ishani also thought for a while then she spoke,''may be they'd be in great need, or it might be because of your brilliant CV , which they checked and selected you,finding no need for interview'',Shekar thought for a while,''no.. it can't b like that, I mean I'm not so good in my marks...then'',Ishani cut him short,''whatsoever it is, is this the time for thinking about these thinks,hmmm?''.''hmmm I think you are right, let's see what is it all about, for now I should be relax as its a good achievement'',said Shekar,where Ishani responded with a formal smile, ''yes, that's the right attitude,let me bring some sweet for you'', when she realised that her hands were still in his, which made both of them feel awkward,Shekar instantly left her hands instantly,''I'm..really sorry, I didn't mean this.. I'd not realised it a t all, I'm really sorry'', guilt was clear in his voice, while Ishani managed to say,''its... its OK ..it happens when you are too much happy or too much sad'',she left the room, where Shekar was staring at her,until she vanished from his eye sight...
