It's a movie at the end of the day. What matters is its connection with the audience and considering how fondly one remembers KKHH still says a whole lot about how much the audience loved that movie. But these discussions are always fun. It's fun to analyze things and see where others are coming from when it comes to their take on the storyline. It's funny as to how the same story can be at times interpreted differently depending on who's watching it.

Yes that is fun but people gets quite harsh on Rahul's character which should not be the case.

I'm not sure how Rahul was on paper but the way Shahrukh portrayed it was beautiful. I fell in love with that portrayal more than the character if it makes sense. I feel like in the hands of some other actor , that character can come across as quite selfish at times. It's what Shahrukh brought to it that made it so memorable for me. I'm not sure if I would agree with all his choices but the way Shahrukh played it...damn..even if you didn't agree , you felt for him if that makes any sense. The vulnerability that he brought to that character is something that is very hard to not connect to.
