Khushi was waiting impatiently for the rituals to be completed so that she can finally open up her heart to someone who had understood her better than anyone, probably even her own self. Her eyes filled up with respect and love for that person who changed himself so much for her to become the knight in the shining armor who would have access into the castled heart of hearts and would also protect it.

Just as Khushi's eyes stared at Arnav's back while performing the rituals, Arnav turned around to lock his eyes, ever filled with love for her as he moved towards her with slow yet steady steps. Like it has never happened or like she had never noticed, her breaths paced while it seemed as if butterflies of every variety were flying in her stomach as a pinkish hue splashed itself over her heated cheeks.

He stood in front of her with an arm length distance between them, still not leaving the passionate and intense lock of their eyes speaking volumes which their lips never uttered. Their beautiful reverie of love had to be unfortunately broken by the huge round of applause that greeted their ears as the priest announced Payal and Akash as husband and wife.

Arnav turned towards the audiences breaking away the eye lock much to Khushi's irritation as he spoke loudly and distinctly which could be heard clearly as mikes were installed everywhere near the stage,

" First of all, congratulations to my dear brother Akash and my sister-in-law by relation but sister at heart, Payal on the sacred occasion of their marriage. But I request you all to take your seats for a few more minutes as I plan to do something special to someone more special than that."

Everyone looked extremely surprised but it was no match to the look of surprise and shock which lit up on Khushi's face as she eyed at Arnav, thinking about his probable actions. But what happened next had surely shocked her and everyone over there except for the Guptas and the Raizadas.

Arnav Singh Raizada was down on his right knee, in front of his lady love who looked at him questioningly while Arnav chose to answer it with just a smile before he started spreading magic with his words of love,

"I don't know where to start with Khushi but I would want to start by apologizing to you for every single deed that has hurt you. Yesterday when you were saying that taking part in their child's marriage is the right of every parent, I saw pain in your eyes and your trembling voice. Only then had I realized how many rights I had snatched from your family and you when I had forcibly married you. I had snatched the right of enjoying your wedding and being loved from you while I snatched the right of Kanyadaan and arranging the daughter's marriage from your parents. As much as I know that these deeds were no less than a sin, I know it that I had fallen in love with you, deeper than I had ever thought I will ever be and more intensely than I could ever fathom. I had promised myself to erase every single pain of yours and fulfill ever dream of yours, Khushi. I want to erase that dark incident of our life which gave you just pain and replace it with something you would cherish. Will you give me the honor of fulfilling the rituals of marriage with the love of my life once again, Khushi Gupta?"

Khushi's eyes glistened with tears as she was overwhelmed and touched by the words of Arnav as she smile with genuine love towards Arnav as she answered,

" Khushi Arnav Singh Raizada loves you, Mr.Arnav Singh Raizada. Akhir Tumne Iss Khadoos Aur Bereham Ka Dil Jeet Hi Liya."

It was Arnav's turn to be surprised as he rose from his position while the huge cheering and applause roared in his ears. He looked pleasantly shocked while he pinched himself at the hand slightly to assure himself that it was not his dreams he started seeing ever since this plan struck him.

" Khushi.."

As the whisper trailed towards her, Khushi's lips curved into an affectionate smile as she spoke,

" Ek Baar Kyun, I am ready to fulfill the rituals any number of times with you."

Taken by the storm of extremely satisfying emotions, Arnav Singh Raizada enveloped his dear love in the embrace of his muscular arms as he muttered under his breath for only his heartbeats and his sweetheart to hear,

" I love you too, Khushi. Thank you so much for making me the happiest man on earth."

He placed a trail of kisses on her nape which was bared to him as her hair was tied up in a bun while gently caressing her back as she replied,

" No, Arnav. I should be thanking you for making me the most lucky woman on the earth for getting someone who is so perfect for me like you."

" Chotte, Khushiji if your public display of affection is over, can we begin with the rituals?" teased Anjali with a mischievous grin on her face while Arnav and Khushi broke apart with embarrassed faces.

The dark incident was replaced with the new memories of the present which were only meant to be cherished, memories which would soothe and the love which transcended their pain and initial hatred for each other. As they completed the rituals one by one, they fell rejuvenated and suddenly every ritual felt extremely meaningful and blissful.

Previously the red color of the vermilion stood for the blood oozing out of their hearts but now it stood for the love which they had in their hearts for each other. In bygone past, the sacred marital chain stood as a symbol of her dark life but now it seemed like every bead was beautiful memory of their love. Changes which love bring to you were innumerable, thought Anjali as she eyed the couple with love.

As the priest announced them to be husband and wife by the religion, they looked at each other with so much of love that their sight directly reached their souls. Khushi threw her arms around Arnav's neck as she confessed yet again in the auspicious moment,

" I love you, Arnav!"

Arnav gladly completed the hug with complete satisfaction etched on his face while expressing his own love to her,

" I love you too, Khushi!"

And finally, love had won over the revenge and tied them in the sacred bond of marriage decorated with their love for each other, forever and ever.
