Un-Res
What a powerfully gripping set of chapters 12 and 13 were, Nainu my dear! Superb, just so filled with excitement and drama.
Swara keeps recalling Sanskaar's grief stricken face when they were parting---she is trying to convince her mind that she is happy about marrying Lakshya, her childhood sweetheart, but her heart knows that she is unable to forget Sanskaar, her soul is inextricably bound with his, after all...
And Lakshya's reaction to their wedding, is also clear proof that while he is very fond of Swara, he is not truly in love with her. It is a a genuine affection from his side, nothing more.
Ragini was broken hearted when she came to know about the wedding plan of Swara with Lakshya. She is deeply in love with Lucky--but she never confessed her emotions, wither to him or to Swara. She seems to have reconciled herself to the news---but wonder if she has some tricks up her sleeve for later? 😉
Fate indeed works in mysterious ways---and it turns out that Lakshya is Sanskaar's younger cousin brother, Annapurna being Sujju's elder sister. You narrated the past history of their family, how Sujata fell in love with the comparatively middle class Ram Prasad, and how her father opposed this, in a very lovely manner. The warm and emotional reunion between the sisters was a treat to read.
So Annapurna and Sanskaar came to Mumbai to attend the wedding of Sujata's son--not realizing that this was Lakshya. Poor Sanskaar---what a shock he must have got seeing Swara there. He has been completely unable to forget her; and she too, has been yearning for him without even realizing that she is now deeply in love with him. She couldn't take her eyes off him when she saw him at her home, thinking that he loked more handsome than ever... 😳 She also felt so guilty and pained seeing him hurt.
Annapurna got very impressed seeing Ragini. 😉 I realized only in part 13, that she was hoping to see Sanskaar settled, and since Swara is marrying Lakshya, she identified Ragini for Sanskaar. 😆 Little does she realize that Lakshya and Sanskaar will marry the Gadodia sisters all right, but not in the precise order she plans! 😉
Sanskaar's pain and intense anguish at the impending nuptials of Lakshya and Swara was so powerfully described Nainu. The way you portrayed his hurt and heartbreak was A.W.E.S.O.M.E.
So in the flashback, you described how he had explained his feelings to Kavita, and told her that he could never forget Swara; never give Kavita the love a husband should, since his heart was filled with thoughts of Swara, and only Swara. Kavita seemed to be an understanding soul, and broke off their engagement. I just hope she remains a positive character here and does return in a negative avatar! 😕
That confrontation scene between Sanskaar and Swara on the terrace was electrifying. Poor Sanskaar---he just wants Swara to come clean about her conflicted feelings, to accept what she feels for him. He feels so devastated that despite having powerful emotions for him, she is racing ahead with a lot of haste, with her wedding plans to his younger cousin. Sanskaar is very perceptive and wise after all--he has realized that Swara is just running away from the depth of her own emotions. She is confused and distraught, but by doing this, she would potentially make 3 people unhappy--Sanskaar, herself, and Lakshya too! But Swara was so terrified and confused at her emotions towards Sanskaar, that she yelled at him in anger, telling him to leave her alone; and that she would not want to marry him even if he was the last man on earth! 😕 😲 ðŸ˜
Poor Sanskaar was heartbroken, hearing her harsh words; and in turn, in his anguish and anger, he told her that she would regret her decision of going ahead with her marriage to Lakshya, even though she had feelings for Sanskaar. But as Sanskaar stormed away, Swara wept, confessing to herself that she is unable to forget Sanskaar, and that he affects her very deeply, on a fundamental level. That was such a powerful poignant moment. It reveals the fact that they are truly twin souls, meant to be together. They are unable to forget each other, move on with anybody else---because they truly complete each other.
I am sure that either Lakshya (most likely) or Ragini; overheard their confrontation on the terrace. Whoever it was, must have realized that Swara truly loves Sanskaar, though she is right now in denial.
I just loved the engagement sequence, where Lakshya takes charge and insists that Swara and Sanskaar should get engaged. He just announces boldly that they love each other, and brooks no opposition to his plan.
I think Sanskaar was looking stone faced, because he would never have wanted to force Swara into the engagement like this. But Lakshya would have compelled him.
I just fear that Swara might misunderstand Sanskaar, thinking that he went to Lakshya, and emotionally blackmailed him into breaking off the engagement. I just hope that she comes to know the truth soon.
Amazing chapters, Nainu. I loved the way you described what clothes they were all wearing. Made the scene come alive before my eyes!
Can I hope for Chapter 14 during the course of this week? Please Nainu! Don't leave us at this cliffhanger for long!
Loads of Love,
