The strength of a person relies in their selflessness to make sure that the other people in their life are happy. Khushi is such a happy and nurturing person, especially now that she is secure in her love and in Arnav's.
I find Lavanya the complete opposite. Her self-absorption kills any empathy that I might feel for her, let alone feeling compassion. She is continuing in her path for forgiveness, she cannot see that her closure is not closure for the other person. Arnav had found his differently. She doesn't listen to the advice of others and I feel that she will forever be focusing on herself. Her problems and worries will forever loom large in the little horizon of her self-centred world. Whatever her intentions, she seems to barge into situations that highlight her selfishness. I can't seem to feel any connection to her handling of the situation. She asks for forgiveness from Khushi for her note and yet I feel she should ask forgiveness for how she forced them to meet her today as well.
But finally it's a closed part. The past cannot be undone, hopefully all the cobwebs have been cleared. Astha and Khushi meeting shows such an acceptance for a different future. Hopefully Arnav will feel such warmth meeting his in-laws.
P.S. I am still waiting to see what happened to the little wooden shikara boat...
