If he is making a comeback, then this meet and greet in Turkey was a great idea! It gave him the much needed exposure in just 2 days. He hasn't done much work in 3 years and he needed to make himself visible. Period! And I'm sure he's smart enough to know that! And Star wants to push its shows abroad. So, yes, a win-win for both parties.

And as far as what happened in 2012 is concerned, let's just say Star Plus was juvenile! So an actor quit his job! Big deal! It was not his fault that he was immensely popular and his fans went crazy! The Channel should have taken a stand. If you were going to shut the show down, do it with dignity. It was your decision ultimately. Don't blame him for it. If you didn't want to do it and you wanted to keep on milking it, then you should have put your foot down and gotten a new actor. You didn't! You decided to give into the fans' demands! Deal with it! Man up! The show was going downhill and they were planning to shut shop in 5 more months and they just handled it badly. That's all.

Seeing that all of them are still best friends goes to show that there's no bad blood between them. So what happened behind the scenes...we'll never know!

Enough said! What he really needs to do is get a good PR Company to manage him! And of course, a haircut! 😆

I agree that we haven't seen much of him on screen, so it's natural for people to feel that he isn't doing much. But that's how an actors life is. You are not going to see them acting unless they are doing a daily soap. There are many other popular TV actors who have also forayed into Bollywood. They've done almost the same or less number of films. In fact there are many established young Bollywood actors who are seen on screen only once in 2 years or so. Not just film actors, there are other TV actors who's shows have gone off air since a while and they haven't signed up any new show yet or have returned after a long gap.

Most fans miss watching him on screen because he is such brilliant actor that you want more of him. I too wish to see him act and I hope something good comes up soon. But at the end of the day it's his life. Barun isn't somebody who is after fame and money. His co-actors from IPKKND (Abhaji and Sanaya), and his producers have said many times that Barun is not money minded. He will do what he wants to.

Regarding SP representatives being a part of this Turkey visit, I don't really care. Just hope to see Barun's films and his show which hopefully is a finite series, as dailies lose their charm after a few days.

@ Bold-2: So, so true!! Very well said. Even Mohit had a long break after MJHT before he did Khamoshiyan, which he quit soon after. And then a year and a half later he got Qubool Hai.

Ignore the haters, both actors have haters. Barun has his share and Sanaya does too. But they have more people who love them, like Sanaya says only take the love and leave what the haters say.
