Love is a sacred reserve of energy; it is like the blood of spiritual evolution (- Teilhard Chardin) and Love is the only gold (Alfred Lord Tennyson) which would give us - Blood and gold (Am I the only one who goes gaga over the titles you pick - I simply love them and even if I run out of words for the chapters, I seem to be able to write on the titleπ)
And Sanskaar unleashed the rage of heavens and the fury of hell on Devender's men, all the while still retaining a faint hint of the strategist in him. He creates a partial defensive barrier and then proceeds to simply decimate the mercenaries. Oh, they wondered how one man could face a superior force and win - it was because they faced the wrath of an avenging angel.
(BTW - caterwauling leader π€£- that had me in splits - an oxymoron, if you ask me, how can anyone wailing like a child with a stubbed toe think himself to be a ''leader'?)
At last we have the much-awaited entry of the oft referred Pawan - what an entry it was (when he ''cribs' to Sanskaar that not many soldiers were left for him - it somehow reminded me of the Asterix and Obelix series, where Obelix constantly gets upset if anyone, apart from him, beats up the roman soldiers π). But he did kill Bagri, which, as he himself said, did make him happy.
Swara finally realises that ''she could not lose him, her life would have no meaning if she did' (which is exactly what Sanskaar felt earlier). And even when she was shocked into stillness, she could not, rather would not have Sanskaar out of her sight, his presence was what was actually allowing her to hold herself. So when she realises that he would be going after Devender, it would mean leaving her (even if it is in the ''protection' of someone whom Sanskaar trusts), she simply could not accept it- one single cry but it did carry the weight of her soul, her fears and her complete surrender to him. He responded in equal fashion, instantly dropping his sword (and hence his pursuit) and gathering her in his arms. (Pawan does get a glimpse of what both mean to each other.)
Once he had Swara, the strategist slowly starts taking over - they now have the two maps, his sword, his store of weapons - and makes the decision that Swara at the moment was more important than chasing Devender. That was a good one - after all, Devender is quite a coward, and he could die a little each day as he waits for his end in Sanskaar's handsπ.
They both have to heal, for themselves and for each other.
Part II - Shekhar - no comments - rather I have too much to say but it would be a waste of anyone's breath. So Swara is now Shomi's daughter?????? How spineless and gutless can one become - fathers are those who never lose faith in you even in those times when you lose faith in yourself, and here is Shekar, ready completely disown her. He now states that he has done injustice to Janaki!!!!!!!!!!! - I am sorry - his being born, that was a gross injustice - (but then if he was not born, we would not have had Swara and that would be mean no SwaSan - oh the things we have to put up with π)
Ragini is feeling that victory is hollow - so she is having feelings other than the obsession for Lakshya - but how far gone is she? Would she ever be able to find her way back, even if she summons the courage to do so?
Shekar feels that Swara is lost because she ''eloped with a ''traitor' 'betraying everyone and wants to have nothing to do with her. He states that Ragini is his only daughter - ironical! When she is the one who betrayed them all.
love,
