Not the Epilogue - part 9
The children's happiness knew no bounds when they learnt that not only was their Aarti-mummy be back for good but now she would be their real mummy. They were so excited about the wedding.
Yash had no intention of waiting long for her. In their hearts they were already married but that meant nothing to his parents. He hated being apart from her at night but she slept with Payal and Palak and would not allow him into the room at night. He had tried the first night and found the door locked. She had expected him. He knocked on the door and called to her softly. They stood at either side of the door whispering loud enough for the other to hear but not to wake their girls.
"Aarti, please open the door"
"No, Yash, go to bed"
"Please, I just want a good night kiss"
"And pigs can fly" she giggled.
"Aarti, please I promise I will be good. Just open the door for a minute"
"But I can't promise that I will be good. So please go away. You know I can't resist you. I will die if your parents find out what we have been up to."
She knew her future mother in law did not hold her in high esteem already, she did not want to prove her right.
He smiled and thought of the time they shared before they left for Bhopal. She was an amazing and enthusiastic lover. She couldn't get enough of him. Fortunately he had given the servants a few days off. He couldn't think of a room in the house that had not been christened by them. They nearly missed their flight because of her. It was not like with Arpita where he had to do all the work, she gave as good as she got. There was no question of how much she adored him. He smiled as he thought about how she responded to him. She was a noisy and vocal lover and he loved it. It spurred him on and brought them to sensational heights every time. But when the girls are back, he would have to make a plan to keep her quiet. But he was not going to stay away from her.
"I suppose you are right. Marrying a screamer has its drawbacks"
"Yash Scindiya, if you don't behave your honeymoon will be a very dry one."
"As if you can keep your hands off me. I can't wait to have you again. I am counting the minutes to our wedding night."
"Yash please, don't do this. I can't manage for much longer. Please my love" she was begging. Her voice was trembling
"Ok baby, I will leave you. I love you. Good night."
"I love you" she went back to bed.
Within the week they were married. She was a beautiful bride. Her beauty enhanced by the love and adoration for her husband. He was just as happy. Finally he would have the woman of his dreams. The one who showed him what unconditional love really was. He would do everything in his power to make her happy. The girls joined them in the mandap for most of the time. They were the ones that brought them together and they were as important to this occasion as the bride and groom. Yash had insisted that Shoba ma attend the wedding. She was the only mother that Aarti knew and the wedding couldn't take place without her. Her in laws were not ecstatic about his choice of bride but they had to acknowledge that they had never seen Yash as happy before, not even with Arpita. So they reluctantly accepted their new bahu.
Finally it was their wedding night. Luckily it was not a big affair so it was not too late when he came to their room. She was sitting on the bed with a veil over her head like a traditional Indian bride. He went to her and lifted the veil.
"So is my wife shy all of a sudden?"
She giggled and slapped him on the arm.
"You are so unromantic. Would you have preferred I wait here for you in my birthday suit."
"Well now that you mention it..."
"Mr. Scindiya you are shameless."
"And you love it, Mrs. Scindiya. Now come, let me help you relieve of these heavy clothes and jewellery"
"That's very kind of you. It's been a long day and I want to get to bed soon." She pretended to yawn.
"Make no mistake, you will get to bed, but there will be no sleep here tonight." He said whilst taking off her necklace. He close proximity already arousing him again. When she was just in her undergarments he grabbed her to him, ready to consummate their marriage. She pushed him and ran to the shower but he ran after her and caught her from the back just as was about the close the door. He picked her up around her waist and continued into the bathroom.
"You are not leaving me for a moment wifey"
He put her down, put on the shower and discarded the rest of their clothes. Then he lifted her again and put her in the shower. The water was ice cold. That was not his intention but the effect of the cold water on their hot naked bodies only made it more erotic. There was no time for foreplay. It was not needed. They were both ready. He lifted her and the feel of her hot moistness was nearly the end of him. It felt as if he had to wait an eternity to feel her again. The look in her eyes when he entered her was one of shock and amazement. How could it be that it felt so much more incredible after just a few days? She had to have more if it. "Baby please please" she begged. He gave into her pleas. He gave into his own desires. They were totally lost in each other. Lost in their love.
Aarti looked at her sleeping husband. Yes, he was her husband. Her happiness was overflowing. She thought of that moment when she first fell in love with them, him and his daughters. She had to tell him the story someday.
She was a 19 year old teaching aid the pre-school. She was used to taking care of children as she normally helped out at the orphanage. She was walking to her class when she saw the 3 of them. He was coming to drop his 3 year old daughters. He was bent down, while they were kissing his cheeks. They seemed so happy. The love and affection between the 3 of them was so obvious. She fell in love with them instantly. She found out that he was married, but she never saw his wife. She never approached him but they were in her dreams every night. She knew that she could never have him. He was a married man and she was content to have only glimpses of him.
She knew immediately that something was wrong. She didn't see them for days and when she saw him again there was pain etched on his face. She wanted to go to him and make it all better but she couldn't. She heard that his wife passed on. She would pray every night that his sadness would be taken away and he would find happiness again.
She had qualified as a pre-school teacher finally. She was teaching the 5 year old class. Although she loved all her children, Palak and Payal always held a special place in her heart. She nearly died the day that Palak had collapsed in her class. She refused to let anyone elsetake her to the hospital. She would see that her girl was alright. She had to take Payal with her as well as she was too distraught to be left alone. That day changed her whole life. It was the first day that she really met him. She could not look at him. He would see the love in her eyes. Love that he would most probably reject. She was content to only be there for her girls. And when he asked her to be the full time nanny, then she thought her happiness was complete. She would live with them. She could take care and love her little girls. She soon learnt that there was no place in his heart for anybody but his dead wife. Yet she still loved him silently. Till that night that she came down for water. She had not expected that. She had never experienced anything like that. But she loved him and could not refuse him anything. If it were not for her little Palak, she would have given herself to him even then.
She knew his battle. She knew that he was fighting his feelings for her because he was still in love with Arpita. She fought with him for her girls. She fought with him when he wanted to marry that horrible woman. She fought with him against himself, when he was punishing her and himself for what they both wanted. Eventually she gave up the fight. She could not fight a ghost anymore. She had lost herself in him. She was an empty shell, not even good enough to look after her precious angels. She had lost the fight.
But then he came back for her. He fought for her. Against her own denial, against Prashant and against his parents. He even fought against his own desire and left her alone for this week before the marriage when she had asked him.
As she was looking at her husband knowing that the fight was finally over, the battle was won. They both had victory. They had each claimed their prize. And it was so worth giving LOVE A FIGHTING CHANCE.

awww what a sweetheart you are! I wanted to see an extension of the family and how the girls deal with that, also his parents realizing her true worth and accepting her for who she is and not only cause she makes him happy... of course another passionate encounter will be more than welcome 😳
but you don't have to, life is not perfect and i just realized that it is the perfect ending to an imperfect but completely blissful life! 😊
