2016 is proving to be unlucky for tinsel town's love birds! Everyday some or the other news about a split or break up is creating a storm in the media. It was only recently that the fans got some great shockers after hearing about Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif's break up that was later followed by Farhan Akhtar and Adhuna Akhtar's divorce. And then to join the gang was Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora Khan who were on the verge of parting ways.

The latest one to follow the trend is the most adorable couple of the glamour world, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma.

Speculations were rife about Anushka- Virat partying ways after the former rejected the marriage proposal. But, no one was cent percent sure about it.

Now, a source close to the cricketer has confirmed to a leading tabloid about their split and added that while Anushka is not expressing her pain over the break up, Virat is all out spilling the beans about it.

"All rumours about Virat trying to woo Anushka back are hogwash. He unfollowed her on Twitter and Instagram and then, uploaded, deleted and reuploaded a photograph of himself, originally captioned, 'Heartbroken'," said the source. [sic]

At the recent birthday bash of actor Angad Bedi, Virat was seen asking the guests, "I'm single, let's dance." [sic] Another eyewitness added to it and said that the cricketer looked very relaxed and happy and according to his closed friends, Virat is "back to his natural, old self." [sic]

The reports further states that the cricketer was also spotted expressing his feelings that he was "cloistered around his controlling girlfriend" and they were spending little time together with too much pressure on him to conform. [sic]
