God haven't you heard that most people who are nominated prefer to have a speech on hand so that they do not fumble on stage irrespective of their chances of winning. Does that mean everyone who reads their award accepatance speech out of a note knew about their victory beforehand.😕 Have you never seen the Oscars or other award shows where actors do the same. But of course when DP does it and because it is Filmfare means she had prior knowledge. 👏

There is nothing she can do to please some people who decidedly can't digest her happiness and need some or the other lame reason to diss her

This letter was published in the book Legacy written by Sudha Menon. If you read it you'll see he not only addresses Deepika but Anisha too. She just read the excerpt of the letter where his father talks about her. Peace...

Many nominees prepare for what to say if they win. She thought she'd share this if she wins as they letter's content is relevant to stuff about one of her films

So many conspiracy theories...lol...

Like I said in another thread that Mr. Padukone is a National Sports Hero of India...kind of like what Sachin is in Cricket...but the sorry state of things is that no other sport other than cricket was ever given any importance in India...but then that doesn't diminish even a little bit of all that Mr Padukone has achieved and all that he has to offer if that means even advice to his daughters and Deepika was kind enough to share it with us ...

Mr Padukone is a Champion...and Champions are made of hard work, sweat and blood...If he is saying something about how things should be achieved ...there is no harm if the young people listen to it and apply some of it in their lives...I am glad and I feel lucky that I got to hear that letter...Sometimes things are as simple as A,B and C...and there are no hidden meanings and conspiracies...

Just imagine that if tomorrow Sachin's daughter was to read or publish a letter from him for the benefit of his fans...how cherished that letter would become...same goes for Mr Padukone...He is no less accomplished and his advice is of no less important...

I am myself not a fan of Deepika but sometimes things have to be looked at from a different perspective and not just trying to read what is in between the lines...because maybe there is nothing there..

Also why are they all making it sound like they are from middle class family? Nope they're very well to do but by our standards. By BW standards they're middle class 😆 ... Her father has a lot of contacts & they're very well connected but none of them were born with a silver spoon. Golf requires too much work & to break in professionally, you need to concentrate only on that that's why her sister has been doing that since ages now.

RS & RK were born with a silver spoon. Not DP. 😆 If DeepVeer marry, their child will be born with 5 golden spoons. 😆
