You know before rizwan' revelation, I was thinking if Preet would consider it rape. I know Preet emotions were not completely explored. But whatever few episodes they showed of Preets anger it didn't seem like she regretted her consummation with Riz. I agree they didn't have time to show her confronting Riz about it, etc... But if the writer wanted to show this angle I think they would have at least shown Preet pondering over it in her own mind. Also in the show she was pregnant but she never felt disgust that the child was a result of her consummation with the man who was a part of the gang. Of course we cannot be sure what angles the writer would have explored had they had time. But whatever they showed, it didn't seem as if she regretted that night. She still called the kid "their kid". Her reaction in general was calmer than I thought it would be. Also, I'm sure she would have thought about how much she insisted on consummating the marriage and how much Rizwan resisted. If rizwan has bad intentions he could have technically consummated the day they got married or whenever in the past 5 yrs. So I think eventually she would have understood why he stayed away for so long


But yes there would have definite been a "hate" phase for Rizwan which they only showed for 2-3 episodes 😕
