I'm one of those who never wanted Ashok aka my vanraaj to romance. Even if they had brought a good actress, I would have still preferred her having her own track while keeping an appropriate distance from Ashok. Ahankara's character was well built and so was the track around her family. She never looked forced like KVK's character does. Even if I ignore the actress, the character is a big let down. Why would cvs introduce the love of Ashok's life like this? No back story, lame dialogues n a disappointing performer. And this girl CANNOT act. period. She keeps on scrunching her nose, which reminds me of her bff siyamak😆 Maybe they should have casted her opp siyamak. This is not the show for her.She looks too young for this big of a role. I will blame the casting team for this mess. This kind of a character requires a very intense performer.

We are not the haters, we are the ones who were watching the show for Ashkaya. So it is obvious for us to expect that level of performance and story. Apart from KVK, the story gives me headache. Leap le aao cvs sabko shanti do😆 I'm seriously praying for the leap.

In some ways, isn't Ashok just like Bindusar when it comes to romance, an emotional idiot.

Anyway, India was okay. Not as exciting as I hoped it would have been. Airlines lost my luggage and so had to wear Kurtas and Pyjamas for a week (🤢🤢). Now I have to deal with Air India from the US; it's a pain. But on the bright side, I took a picture of a monkey wearing glasses. I'll post that one day. 😛

Amatya Rakshas is, for all practical purpose, the saving grace of the episodes. He's the only link that's survived between Taxila and Magadhan Realpoltik. Missing the vicious and serpentine minds from the Capital already. 😆

On a side note, I want Ashok to give a tight slap to Kattapa and box his ears for grinning like an imbecile for no reason.
