A lovely chapter that conveys the myriad shades of acceptance. I love how Aneri joyfully embraces all the gifts Arnav gives her because she's begun to see him as hers. The whole payal scene just left me with tears in my eyes. Her sealing her hamesha by giving him one, him kissing a promise to her tiny feet ... simply beautiful. He'll be there wherever she sets foot, guiding her, loving her. As will Khushi. You can already see the comfort Aneri draws from the circle of love on her wrists. Guiding her as she reaches out to grasp the future. For Aneri, they will always be a symbol of her parents blessings.

That giving heart of hers gave her the courage to let go of her inhibitions and perform for her family. To see their smiles. That bhajan brings with it so many memories Jigs. I can just see her lost in her love for her Kanha. Her gold Kanha on his meenakari chowki will always be there as her confidante. I love how you've used the lighting of the diya for Kanhaji here. Arnav as reluctant as ever, but his bambina's pout ke saamne ... sub kuch qurbaan. And when mirrored with his wife's, he really didn't stand a chance. But he did get a lovely thank you kiss!

What a wonderful way to have Kabir propose to Roshini. At the place where their feelings first burgeoned for the other. With the person who they were both helping, there to share it with them. I love how you've used the engagement ring to tell us so much about the two of them. It's Roshini's wishes that are ultimately the most important for him. And the fact that she recognizes that, shows how well she knows him. As you've shown with Aneri's Bal Gopal, it's not the intrinsic value of things that matter, it's the meaning and emotions imbued in them that make them valuable to us.

The last scene of Aneri sitting against her favourite tree, hits you even harder as it comes on the back of a day filled with the bustle and lightness of Diwali. Those shades of sadness that Arnav and Khushi see in their daughter's eyes during the day finding a voice. How much grief can a tiny heart hold as it grapples to hold on to memories marching relentlessly into the mists of time. But, her "Please take me home", gives you hope that she has begun to accept that home is with the two people who love her with all that they are. Her Amma Babuji's blessings for their bitiya.

Very beautiful update ya...
Aneri the extraordinary little angel... She is like that wonderful ray of sunshine in Arnav and khushi's life... where she has bought so much of hapiness with her...
But at the same time...This little girl has so much stored in her heart...The pain...The fears...
Last scene jus tore my heart... She misses her parents... but m sure they are hapie to see Aneri with her new parents who love her so much...
I think now they have finally rest in peace...!!!
And now that Arnav and khushi knows what her fears are...They will surely bring her baq from those demons hurting her...
Rest I loved the hapie hapie aura of diwali in this... The diyas..bal gopal...The gifts... Aneri's wonderful dance...
Our couple is really lucky to have Aneri... may God just bless the three of them and always keep them together... hamesha...
P.S- Omg I loved the proposal...Roshni and kubs...

A recipe for LOVE is a spoonful of SMILES, a jar of JOYS, a cup of kisses and a handful of HUGS ..

There absolutely no lack of the above in Aneris family..she is their blessing .

Such a beautiful chapter. how many amongst as parents can ever say our children have asked what to do with too so many gifts ..The pure innocent of this child !

Slowly Arnav and Khushi have begun to understand her insecurities.. Her undeniably endearing way to ensure Arnav kept a Payal ..

Kabir the romantic .. Who would have thought ..that proposal has to top them all!!

Aneris Amma and Bauji can finally rest in peace knowing their daughter is with her family .. Is this why she no longer feels the breeze that caressed her in the past...

Jigs, you have become the master of story telling and with each update you setting the bar quite high.

This update had so many elements in it, be it the innocent devotion a little child would have towards Bhaghwan, struggling parents trying desperately to reach their child's heart, feeling of acknowledging the loss of someone closest finally, Jigs every emotion, every feeling, every moment, you have captured so well in this update. Kudos to you. 👏

I could not help myself but think of a possibility. What if the people who wanted to adopt Aneri earlier, would have gone ahead and adopted her. I am not saying they are bad people, but were they as sensitive as Arnav and Khushi to understand Aneri this deeply?

I even dread to think about all the kids who have undergone emotional trauma at young ages, how are they dealing with this? Are the orphanages giving them the required support or are the parents who adopt them understanding them? Such thoughts are very scary Jigs. My heart goes out to all such innocent kids.

The song Aneri danced to was very sweet. I could so imagine this little girl dancing and twirling along in her colorful dress and the pride and joy Arnav and Khushi would have felt as parents are indeed invaluable.

Aneri is slowly forgetting her biological parents, which is natural considering that some time has passed and she was very little to remember everything. And I think that thought shocked her.

How will she let go of her past and embrace the future is something to be seen.

Ari meri Pari ...she is sooo overwhelmed with all the gifts..but loved the way she accepted her parents gifts for her...I guess soon she will call them ma and papa too..waiting for that day..

loved the update and loving the teaser even more. looks like the little princess will be receiving a little pair of payal for diwali.

as for the previous update, it was super nice how even the kids accept aneri as their sister and i dunno but payal is looking more human these days. im so happy that her snobbish husband is not around though

An amazing update as ever.

Her dramatic behavior was the icing on the top. The "dammit"... Was the highlight of all.

The way you have engraved the teaser, wow, that was something else.

I was touched, when she asked her pappa to keep the one piece with him.

She has already behaving the two. Already adopted her parents signature's so easily.

I m waiting for the day, she call them mommy n daddy.

I thought she was going to give them the gift on this special day, by addressing them and fulfilling their craving.

How much melancholy can a little person carry?

I believe it is the size of their heart and soul... that real estate that can hold emotion within, make connections with another heart, set another soul on fire...

How much sorrow can a story hold?

As much as the eye can behold and as much as the words can mould.

Looks like this update of yours just about filled and made my cup overflow Jigs.

I feel like there is no page that is overlooked and no rock unturned. When you embarked on a story about parenting and adoption, you intended to explore all facets of it. And you do it with such elegance and grace that your readers are often left with a smile that seems to wobble with the weight of its tears.

With aching beauty you have hidden Aneri's sorrow in-between her smiles, her dances and her little dramas. All that glitter of Diwali did not dim the pain of her loss, her fear and turmoil over how to deal with her parents' death. It is right there between all those hugs, kisses, embraces from her adopted parents.., along side her Mohaniya (you got him here... as you know, I am very partial to him. ❤️) her payals and other gifts.

How much can her heart bear? As much as her parents can fathom and help her heal. You see - this is how Arnav and Khushi will truly heal themselves as well. All three of them need each other, all three of them need to go through this trial to truly mend their broken hearts and bruised souls. It will be this journey that will cement their relationship.

So, bring it on dear sister of the best kind... make me cry, make me smile, make me sigh... You have done it so well, so many times that I know you will.. yet again.. with another update of your Aneri-ed story.
