Part 7C
In the hospital after everybody left Narendra laid down on his bed.
Nandini came to him and asked
"Papa main bhi aapke baaju mein late jaaon... " she was being like a small adorable girl.
"Ya ya Nandu aaja... " very lovingly he said.
Nandini lied down at the side of him keeping her head on his shoulder. Narendra wrapped his hand around her shoulder.
"Nandu... Tumhe Manik pasand tou aaya naa... " he asked as soon as she lied down.
She just nodded her head by moving it.
"Woh Bahut Acha Ladka hai... Very sensible and caring... Ab meri tension dur ho gayi... You know waise tou yeh sab baatien ek maa kehti hai apni Beti ko before her marriage... Here I am telling you... Are you listening..." He asked...
She again moved her head in a yes.
"Shaadi ke baad ek ladki ka real home uske husband ka ghar hota hai... His parents will be her parents... So after you go to his house... You have to give your unconditional love to him... You have to take care of him... His likes his dis likes... You have to take care of his family...you have to make him your first priority..." He paused and laughed a little and continue
"And if ever if ever any fights happy in between you guys than always on e person has to keep quiet... So I want that person to be you... When things settle down than you can talk and solve it... Ok "
He bend down and looked at her if she sleeps... She didn't sleep but listening to him.
"Are you getting bored of this talk..." He asked
"Papa you know I'm the luckiest daughter in this world... Coz all the girls are guided by their moms and I'm the only one who is guided by my papa... My very loving papa..." She looked at him and said
" I Love you Papa..." And she gave a kiss on his cheek moving her head a little up.
"I Love you too ...honeybun". And he hugged her more.
She snuggled herself to him and after some time both of them fell asleep.
In Malhotra Mansion, every one left for their designated room. Aliya and Mukti were deciding what to were in the night in the sleepover.
" Mukti I'll keep my Minnie Mouse sleeping wear...What say". Aliya asked very excited for the sleepover..
" I'm gonna wear my black and red polka dots tank top and pajamas..." Mukti said
"Let's asked Navya what she is wearing...it's gonna be fun..."
Mukti called Navya.
N- hello
Mu- hey Navya..we were discussing about what to wear tonight...what are your plans.
N-you can wear what ever you want...hum tou tank tops and PJ's pehenne waale hai
Mu- yesss... Bingo...even I'm wearing the same.
N-Lekin keep something warm also ...coz we'll be spending most of the night in the backyard...doing bonfire and playing games...and lots of different things...it's gonna be lot of fun...Navya got excited.
Mu- ok than we'll see you in the night around 8
They hung up. Aliya still looking around in her clothes undecided..
" ok I'll wear the tank tops with my Capri sleeping PJ's. How about that..".she showed Mukti
"ya that'll be fine...pack a pair of cardigan or shawl...we gonna be spending a lot of time outside ." Mukt added.
In Manik's room Manik took a shower and changed into his vest and track pants and was lying down on his stomach thinking about all the events that happened al day today... And smiling to himself looking at her picture in the phone.
He heard a knock on the door. Before he answer Cabir came in.
"Manik are you sleeping... I know I know I should wait for your answer... But Abhi Teri shaadi hui nahi hai... Jab Nandini aajayegi na tou main knock karke aaunga... Ab yeh look dena band kar..." Cabir said seeing him glaring at him and starts teasing.
" arey aaja yaar... Main toh aise hi..." Manik left the sentence in the middle
" Wow Manik Malhotra ke paas words ka shortage... Yeh tou bada issue ho Gaya... "Cabir continue teasing.
"Dhruv Kahan hai..." Manik asked ignoring him.
" tere woh jo ek adath chachu and chachi hai na... Dhruv ke parents...unhe pick karne Gaya hai airport. "
" chachu and chachi are coming... Yuhu...It's gonna be fun..." Manik's chachu and chachi are like friends to him. Same like Nyonika and Vikram. They share a very different kind of bond with Manik.
" Acha yeh tou bata ki tu iss waqt bed per Kya kar raha hai... It's like 5pm and you on bed. ". Cabir asked.
" it's just that ke I'm a little tired... And at 8 in the evening I've is to pickup Nandini and drop her off to Navya's place... Just resting..." He replied thinking about her.
Cabir noticed his smile which he tries very hard to hide.
" tu usse pasand karne laga hai na..." Cabir asked lying down beside him on his back pulling a pillow. Looking on the ceiling.
"Hmm... Pasand... I don't know but... Dil chahta hai ki woh Hamesha mere saath rahe... meri nazron ke saamne...usse khush dekhna chahta hoon...uska maasoom chehra meri nazar se jata hi nahi..." Manik is just going on talking about her non stop.
"This is what is called LOVE...,"Cabir said...
" I thing you are right..., I am falling in love with her..." Manik is in the dream land.
"Maine kabhi soncha nahi tha ki The Manik Malhotra who tries to stay away from girls... Fan girls and his fandom... Will fall for a simple and innocent girl..." Cabir looked t him and said
" I'm happy for you bro. Looking at the happiness on your face.. I really feel happy..Acha Tu aaraam kar... We'll after you wake up..." Seeing him getting tired he told Manik to take rest and sleep.
It was almost 8:00 in the night when Manik reached the hospital to pick up Nandini. He dropped Mukti and Aliya at Navya's place before he came here. When he enter Narendra's room Nandini was feeding him soup. Mahinder and Rishab were already there.
"Hello everybody ". Manik said as soon as he entered.
Abhimanyu also entered after Manik.
"Oh all are here... Good so uncle tomorrow at 11 in the morning you are ready to go." Abhimanyu said giving everyone a relief.
" And one more thing... I'm gonna appointment a nurse for you... Who will take care of your diet and medicine and what ever other things you need... This way everybody will feel relaxed and even I will be a little satisfied...and I'll take the report time to time from her..."Abhimanyu continued.
Nandini was looking at Manik by her sideways and thinking
'Aiyyappa... He is looking so handsome just in simple black V neck T shirt and dark blue jeans...' She can feel that Manik is watching all her moves. And just admiring her...how she is taking care of her father..
"Yeh tumne Bahut Acha kiya Abhi... Now everyone will be tension free and concentrate on preparations. "
Narendra said happily.
"Beta Abhimanyu you also have to join us in all the functions. Kyun bhaiya..." Mahinder told him asking Narendra.
"Haan haan yeh bhi koi poochne ki baat hai. You are Nandini's one and only friend cum brother... So are not going to miss any event..." Narendra added.
"Of course... Of course...Manik Be ware hum ladki waale bahut dhamaal karne waale hain tayyaar rehna... Kyun Rishab..." Abhimanyu got excited.
Manik didn't say anything. Just bend his down bring a little shy.
" Arey uncle aapke damaad to sharmate bhi hai." Abhimanyu was teasing Manik.
"Abhi Tum he jo bhi challenge karna ho woh Manik ke Doston ke saath karo... Yeh tou dulha banega... How will he do the mischief.."
Narendra said.
"Ya ya uncle... Hum log tou full maze karenge." Replied Abhimanyu
After some more chitchatting Nandini took leave from Narendra with lot of instructions from him...that she has to enjoy tonight to the fullest with all the girls without thinking about him. And without taking any tension. Manik took Nandini to Navya's home by letting her know that he already dropped Mukti and Aliya before he came to pick her up. All the way Manik was thinking about the deal which he did with Nandini. They reached Navya's house. Nandini was about to get off the car when he grabbed her hand and stopped her. Nandini's heartbeat starts rising.
'Aiyyoo... Aiyyappa... I knew ki he will stop me... How can he not...after he is Manik Malhotra... He won't leave a chance to tease me..." Nandini's thought were all going bonkers.
" where do you think you are going missy..." Manik came closer to her.
"Inside...Navya must be waiting naa..." She replied looking at him very innocently.
" and what about my deal... I told you that I'm not gonna spare you in the night. "
Manik said going more closer to her that she can feel his breath on her face.
She feels that butterflies are dancing in her stomach...with his proximity..
"What deal..." She said pretending to not remember about it.
"Acha you forgot...now really...mujhe yaad dilana Aata hai... Shall I remind you..."
He got more close to her that his nose is almost touching her cheek...She shivered by his closeness and try to move but his grip on her and hand and her shoulder is very tight.
'Aiyyappa... Main Kya karun...please help'. She thought.
"Aaj tumhara koi excuse Nahi chalega...Nandini" Manik start nuzzling his nose on her cheek.
She was having goosebumps and her heart is thumping inside...she closed her eyes...
"Bolo yaad dilaun..." He said very seductivley pulling her more closer to him...and moving his nose from her cheeks to her neck...inhaling her scent...
"Please..." She whispered his name very softly..." Please mujhe jaane dijiye "
She pleaded in her ever soft voice.
"Ek hi shart per tumhe jaane doonga...tumhe Mera naam lekar bolna hoga"
He still getting more and more closer to her moving his hands on her back.
Nandini also moved her hands on his back and clutching his shirt.
"Manik...please..." She literally pleaded him.
' It always felt so good to hear my name from her '. He thought. He can feel the heat going on her cheeks and her neck..he moved back and saw her...she was sitting with her eyes closed with a blushed face. He kissed her forehead and moved back...
"Theek hai... if you are not comfortable in getting closer to me...than I won't force you...and even I won't come near you...Jab tak tum khud mere paas Nahi aaogi... Main bhi tumhare khareeb Nahi aaunga "
He said in a little firm way.
Nandini opened her eyes and got scared for a second...
"Aap naraaz ho Gaye..." She is worried now.
" Nahi main naraaz Nahi hoon...take your time... I'll wait for that time..."
'Aiyyappa yeh Maine Kya kar diya...yeh definitely mujh se naraaz ho Gaye hain..."
"Aap ander Nahi aayenge...sab se milke jaaiye... " she wanted him to come inside so that she will at least make his mood better...coz she can feel that he is upset.
"Actually...Dhruv ke parents...chachi and chachu are here from London for our wedding...when they came I was sleeping and I couldn't meet them...they are waiting for me..."
He said in a flat voice.
"I'll see you in the morning...than..." He said again.
" ok... I'll see you in the morning than. ". She turned and opened the car to step out of it. And she closed the car door and moved back...
He drove off from there... After he left he thought
'What did I do...was I right...but she has to open up...I know I shouldn't have done it..but there is no other way...I can't force anything on her...she will take sometime...l don't know... I was being rude to her...' He stopped the car on the side of the road...
'Oh gawd why I can't able to control myself...when she's around...I know she cares for me...I shouldn't be this hard on her...what should I do now...' He waited there for some time and after thinking some thing he drove off to his house..
He called Cabir... When he picked up the phone. Manik said
"Cabir come outside...right now..."
C-- Manik Kya hua.
M--bas Baahar aa yaar and Dhruv Ko bhi lekar aa..

Manik cut the phone. Cabir and Dhruv came outside in a few minutes and sat in the car...and Manik drove again..Cabir and Dhruv were very confused by his behavior..
"Yaar bata tou sahi baat Kya hai. " Cabir asked being worried for him. But he didn't answer...
"Manik you are scaring us now...baat Kya hai kisi se jhagda hua hai Kya..."
Dhruv asked this time.he didn't say anything yet..
"Manik...Nandini ne kuch kaha hai..." Cabir thought to give a try...
"Hum Navya ke ghar jaa rahe hain..." He said with a very flat tone.
Cabir under stood there's something that happened between these two.
Here in Navya's house as soon as Nandini entered...Navya Aliya Mukti welcome. her with a hug and lots of smile. Nandini smiled back and didn't say anything. They all were discussing their plans that they're gonna have lot of fun tonight. And Aliya was saying that she'll give pedicure and manicure to all of them..Navya was saying that she prepared the cucumber face mask for them. But in all of this discussion Nandini is not even concentrating..her mind is thinking only one thing...that Manik is upset on her...
' Aiyyappa... Main Kya karun...mujhe kuch samajh Nahi aa raha... It's my fault...meri ghalati hai...it was just a matter of a kiss... Aisa Kya maang rahe thei woh... I shouldn't have said no to him...'tears were forming in her eyes.
" Nandini Kahan khoi ho" Navya interrupted her thoughts...
"Navya...I didn't took a shower since morning...can I go and get fresh..."
Nandini ignored and asked her.
"Haan chalo hum tumhe tumhare kapde deta hain" Navya excused herself from Mukti and Aliya
" Mukti Aliya feel free to do whatever you want..aaj Raat the whole house is ours.."
Navya said " hum abhi aate hain.
In Navya's room
"Nandini...tum abhi bhi uncle Ko lekar pareshaan ho..." Navya asked.
"Nahi Navya papa is fine...Abhimanyu said he's gonna discharge him tomorrow.."
Nandini answered.
" tou phir baat Kya hai...tum itni pareshaan kyun lag rahi ho..."Navya asked again..
Hearing Navya she started crying... Navya got worried and after a lot of insisting Nandini narrated the whole scenario... And still crying.
"Tum paagal ho Nandini... Jeejaji tumhare hone waale pati hai...agar tum unke saath comfortable nahi Hogi tou...problem ho jaayegi..." Navya explained her.
Nandini was still crying.
"Main Kya karun...mujhe kuch samajh nahin aaraha..." Nandini said sniffing her nose..
"Acha...stop crying...aur tum jaake fresh ho jaao... Hum kuch karte hain..." Navya said thinking some thing...
" Tum Kya karogi..." Nandini asked in a questing look..
"Woh tum hum per chod dou" Navya said leaving the room..
She came to Mukti and asked...
"Mukti...Kya tum Hume Cabir ka phone number de sakti ho..."
Mukti got surprised.
"Haan kyun Nahi...but is everything alright...all of a sudden...Cabir ka number..."
"Haan everything is fine...woh Jeejaji ka phone Nahi lag raha tha...tou Cabir ke phone pe try kar ke dekhte hain." Navya made an excuse..
Mukti gave her the number.
Navya went into another room and called him and it flashes as an unknown number in Cabir's phone..Cabir picked up the call... But before he say anything Navya said.
" Cabir hum Navya Bol rahe hain...kuch mutt bolo... Sirf hamari baat dhyaan se suno..." And she told everything to him
" Hume pata hai jeejaji tumhare saath hi honge bas tum kisi tarha unhe hamare ghar le aao please... Baki hum sambhalenge..." Navya continues
Cabir just said " ok"
And cut the phone.
"Kiske phone tha..." Manik asked.
"Woh office se tha... Tomorrow is a meeting so I have to go..." Cabir also makes an excuse. And thought...
'Saale tu bada Majnu bana phir raha hai...just wait till this situation solves...phir main tujhe batata hoon...' Cabir is getting all freaky ideas in his mind to bother Manik.
Nandini came out of the washroom wearing a black tank top which is exposing her hands sticking to her milky body showing all the curvy parts. And a blue Pajama.
She took out the towel and starts to dry her hair all the way to the other side in the corner of the room. She heard the door open and close. She thought its Navya and said
" Navya Maine sonch liya hai... Main unko sorry bolungi... It's my fault...and he is upset with me... Main unki naarazgi tolerate Nahi kar sakti..." Saying this she started crying again.
"Tumhe pata hai Navya... Aisa lag raha hai ki saari duniya mujhse naaraz ho gayi hai... Kuch acha Nahi lag raha. Dil chah raha hai ki main abhi unke paas jaun aur unko sorry bolke unhe mana loon..." She said sniffing her nose.
" tou mana lo..." She is shocked at the voice. It's Manik's
She turned to take a look at him. He was standing leaning his back to the door folding his hands on his chest. When she looked at him he un fold his hand and stands.
"Aap..." She whispered. And with out thinking anything and ran to hug him. Putting her arms around his neck. He took her in his embrace by holding her tight. She was sniffing and sobbing..her head is on his chest and she's making his T shirt wet with her tears.
"I'm sorry..." Both of them said in unison...
He was gripping her by her waist and said.
" mujhe itna rude Nahi hona chahiye tha..." He said still holding her.
"Mujhe aapki baath maan leni chahiye thi..." She murmured in his chest holding him tight by his neck..
"Aap please mujhse naaraz mutt hoiye...warna meri duniya ruk jaayegi..." She said snuggling herself more in his chest..she moved her hands from his neck to and hold him through his back.
"Sshh... " he said. " I didn't mean to hurt you..."...he move a little bit from her and saw her face by lifting it with his fingers.
" Pata Nahi mujhe Kya hogaya tha...I really wants you to feel comfortable when you are near me... I really meant it but...my way of saying was rude...I'm sorry.." He said with a cute face.
Nandini looked into his eyes...and she moved one of her ands to his eyes and closed It with her fingers. Manik got surprised. She tiptoed her feet and held his face in both of her hands and gave a sweet kiss on his left cheek..
Manik tighten his grip in her waist.. And she moved to other side and kissed his right cheek very softly. A trail of current passed through his body by her touch .
He hugged her more tight. Her small posture was adjusted perfectly in his arms. She put her head on his shoulder as he lifted her up like a doll and moved his face to the crook of her neck...she shivers by his touch on her neck and clutched him tight... He gave a wet kiss on her neck..she lost all her balance and clung to him for support.he rest his face on her shoulder inhaling her and stood like that for few moments...Forgetting the outside world.she also gave herself to him and was relaxing in his embrace. After a few moments Manik puts her down and he called her
" Nandini... "
" Hmmm " she didn't looked at him.
" meri taraf dekho..."
She moved her head in a no and tighten her grip on him. He smiled at her innocence..
" dekho sab hamara neeche wait kar rahe hain...agar hum Nahi Gaye tou...everybody will come upstairs...tum chahti ho ki woh yahan aaye..."
He asked her still holding her.
She loosens her grip and moved back a little not leaving him..
"Aap ne mujhe maaf kar diya naa". She asked without looking at him...
"Main Tum se naraaz nahi hoon..,". He took her face in his hands and told her..
"Kya Tum mujh se naraaz jo ..," he asked her.
"Nahi..." She said lifting her face and looking at him.
He kissed her very gently on her forehead.
" Chalo... Let's go" he said and they left the room.
When they went down every body was eating...Mukti, Dhruv and Cabir was eating a burger... Aliya took chicken salad and Navya is eating pasta. Nvaya arranged lot of food Manik and Nandini also joined them. Nobody said anything to them yet. But everyone is looking at them. After they are done. One by one evry body started questioning Them and getting angry on them.
" Kya bhai... Yeh girls ka sleepover tha... Aap logon ne disturb kar diya." Mukti gets mad.
" I thought I will do so many things... But there's not enough time. " Aliya said
"It's already midnight". She continued.
Cabir asked Manik.
"All sorted ". Cabir wants to know of everything is back to Normal.
" ya ya all sorted " Manik replied avoiding the eye contact with him.
Cabir got up and started hitting him everywhere on his body playfully
" saale... Kamine... Majnu Manik kab Se Ban Gaya tu... Abhi se Nandini ko tangg karne lag Gaya hai Abhi sirf engagement hui hai Shaadi nahi... Aur Nandini agar yeh tumhe... Next time aise tangg Kare tou mujhe batana... Main iski khabar leta hoon. " he held him by his shoulder.
" Cabir chod mujhe. ". Manik said Cabir left him.
" every body suno hamari baat... Abhi kafi raat ho gayi hai. Hum peeche chalte hain... Wahan per humne sleeping arrangements kiye hain...so let's go in the backyard"
Navya said to all.
Every body went outside. The back yard was arranged very beautifully. With 4 tents... In a round position.. In the middle it was a bonfire with bed sheets and pillows and blankets around it. There were two more fire pits in the corners of the garden to keep it warm. And the whole yard is surrounded by dim lights which is making it worth spending the night here.
Every body settled down on the bed sheets. With the support of the pillows. Since Mukti and Aliya brought their own shawls they covered themselves. And Navya arranged blankets for Manik and Nandini and Cabir and Dhruv. They were sitting in pairs. Manik sat
Besides Nandini. He almost lied down on one the pillow. Dhruv sat beside Aliya and Mukti sat by Cabir and Navya sits next to Mukti. No body was in a mood for anything else as everyone is tired. Navya noticed and planned something.
" as everyone is tired. To do anything... So let's just play antakshiri. " Navya said.
All said ok.
Nandini was a little away from Manik. She is sitting holding her knees in her hands and also shivers a little due to cold. Manik moved closer to her and took the blanket and covered her from the back as she just took a shower and she can catch cold. Nandini looked at him and smiled.
"Baithe baithe Kya karein,
Karna hai kuch kaam,
Shuru karo antakshiri,
Leek prabhu ka naam." She stopped at Manik
"Jeejaji aap ka turn... Ma se gaaiye"
Manik looked at Nandini and started singing.

Navya while singing stealing glances from Cabir through side ways. Cabir noticed it and smiled. Even though Navya's voice was not that good but she sang very well. Nandini was feeling tired. She puts her head on Manik shoulder. Manik was sitting in a semi sitting position keeping two pillows to support his back. When she put her head on his shoulder he moved his hand around her shoulders to gave full access on him. And she snuggles in his shoulder moving more close to his neck.
" Mukti your turn... PA ya Aa" Navya said.

Cabir was looking at Navya on and of. Navya was feeling his gaze and being shy. Manik is in his own world. Coz Nandini fell asleep on his shoulder. Mukti also drifted into sleep. Only people awake is... Dhruv Aliya Navya and Cabir.
