You seems to be quite frustrated with Cv's character assassination of Swara. You know what when I started watching this serial Swara was my favorite character , now I like Ragin's character better than Swara, because it is way more interesting than Swara's Mahaantha.
Regarding the dress , I feel that at the end of shooting they dye the dress of Swara with different shades , seriously the pattern of all dress is same only difference is the color.
Kamala, I actually don't give a damn about personality or track in terms of personal preference.š The sort I'd like to see would get any serial termination-decided in a week.š
My only concern is that if the track and/or characterization is displeasing to the unvaryingly consistent and proven sensibilities of majority-audience, it decides character's screenspace-amount and track-existence.
Female-lead's two primary qualities absolutely crucial for mass-connect are -
- being absolutely uncompromising on her 'izzat' and unwilling to use it as a tool in any way,
- and placing her marriage as sacrosanct.
If even one of these two qualities is muted, her being sacrificingly noble and balidaani in everything else will *not* gain her even a whit of mass-support.
Swara has been shown as totally lacking in *both* those two qualities.
She could have been shown in contract-marriage.
Instead, she showed repeatedly that she thinks living in fake-marriage is acceptable, and getting really married is the problem. It's guaranteed for being horrendously mass-appalling.
And her yammering about not loving her husband, therefore the marriage should end - it's something which will be distasteful to almost the entire massive majority-audience.
The CVs are - perhaps inadvertently - turning Swara into almost a supporting-character - someone with progressive ideas about her own marriage and life (rather than enduring mass-appreciably for herself and fighting only for others), and therefore unfit to have screenspace or track-scenes focus on her, because her clothes, thoughts, dialogues and conduct are all mass-appalling in the only two factors which make a difference in ensuring or eroding mass-connect of female-lead.
And since SwaSan are my preference, and would like Swara to not be secondary in female-character primacy, it's miserable.
