So true Srishti!! The best example is the book Custody on which the initial YHM was loosely based on.

Truth hurts... but Ishaan needs to know the truth. The earlier he knows that Abeer is his real dad the lesser will be the impact of this for the rest of his life. This is what shrinks tell. In that sense Meher failed and both Akshat and Abeer are trying to right the mistake in their own way. Instead of letting the truth explode, Abeer is steering Ishaan gradually there...

Akshat could handle Abeer a lot better, after all he is the mature guy isnt he? So what was he doing shouting and loosing his cool in front of Ishaan. Akshat's priority is not Ishaan... it is only Meher. He visited Ishaan in the hospital to get engaged to Meher and then did not turn up.

@chessy...ishu is the key to meher for akshat...he doesn't care abt ishu...he only wants meher and somewhere i feel abeer knows this side of akshat that he is using ishu to get meher to become his...while abeer is only enjoying his fatherhood...bonding with his only son gives him peace in his heart...he would not have disturb meher if she gives him the visiting rights to meet ishu w/o ishu knowing that abeer is his father...but she is stopping ishu to meet abeer...ask him to stay away from their son...no father whether divorced or stay married will tolerate it...the guy just got to know abt his son and the immense peace he has on his face everyday meeting his son...playing with him...understanding him...wants to bond with his son...meher provoking abeer to do all those stuff which is impulsive...

ishu is not the key for abeer to win meher...he is not using his son at all...the man does know his ex-wife perfectly...what will drawn her closer to him...what affects her...he can read her eyes and soul...he doesn't need his son as bait or key to push all the right buttons of his ex-wife...abeer just want to bond with his son and compensate the 8 yrs when he doesn't know anything abt the birth of his son by showering all the love on him and break the wall that akshat-meher has created for ishu...

akshat-meher wants ishu to do what they say but the boy has his own desires and dreams...his own happiness and abeer being his father introducing ishu to the desires and dreams which ishu has locked due to akshat-meher domination and strictness...i agree the path abeer has taken is slightly wrong...but the surprising part is ishu likes the path though its wrong but in the end father-son makes it right...sometimes wrong paths are taken to reach the right path...thats what abeer is doing...the route he takes is weird...but the result its his good heart and intention...ishu has interest in music...meher doesn't want ishu to fulfill his interest...thats wrong and akshat due to his own insecurities...its better they think abt the kid rather than their own selfish benefit by killing every desires of ishu becos his interest matches abeer...they need to understand that abeer is ishu's biological father...father-son shares same allergy...same likes and dislikes...same qualities...they are carbon copy...its god created that father-son are carbon copy of each other...and akshat-meher should accept the reality that ishu is abeer's carbon copy...he will definitely have interest in music...he has qualities of meher too...he is a bookworm...he was so engross in the princess love story just like meher engrosse in books in her college day...akshay maybe a good father to ishu...but he needs to accept ishu with the truth that ishu is Mehbeer's son...and he can't erase the DNA that ishu has in him that matches Mehbeer...as a father to ishu...akshat should support ishu's interest...
