Precisely..it was an indirect indication on his part that we was starting to accept the their relation and probably give it a chance

@ Sush and Shwets: After a long time, I had the time to read the page 1 posts. I tend to parachute in, post and disappear or land up in the middle of discussions. But, just so you know that the screen caps and collages from the show interspersed with the comments make for a very lovely read.

@ Wooster: As always, very well-written. I am tempted to watch the episode again after reading your post.

Re Priya Tandon: She was brilliant! That moment when she is crumpled against the door, opens her mouth to sob and winces on account of the gash on her cheek.👏

As most of you have noted, I too am glad that that the editor's scissors didn't cut off the completion of the self-castigation scene -- the King collecting himself and then walking, almost stumbling, away.

Her granting him permission to speak! He has indeed mellowed down enough not to take umbrage at that.😆

As much as I was caught up in the moment, and since you ladies have already gushed about the episode and applauded the team, I will only second you and forbear from doing that separately.

However, a few things still stood out.

  • The stuff about destiny (Bhagya) -- When challenging the King that they would light the lamps at Diwali together, the Wueen had mentioned something about destiny then too -- about destiny having fated them together. So, when he mentioned that she has managed to change her destiny, I was reminded of that. Does anyone remember her exact words? Again, because I was not regular viewer, my memory is hazy. Was there also a scene (in that episode or some other) in which he told her that only his hate was in her destiny? In that case, their words now would make perfect sense.
  • The seasoned solider remains oblivious to the presence of that veiled lady. If she has to continue shadowing them, she really ought to find columns and trees. She is shattering my image of the seasoned soldier, though he was back in that last scene when he comes across the shards of the earthern pot.

Is someone on the creatives' team a fan of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai? There's been some rumble in the media of it's 17-year anniversary lately. Several of the scenes over the previous episodes reminded me of that movie -- the child that communicated with gestures, the scene under the stars, the game involving a variation of word association, the comet / falling star, etc.

I was reminded of KKHH too..the convo under the stars..abd the word association game (though in this case theh narrated a thought instead of a single word alone)

@Bertie if it is a definitive statement from RNJ then it is really good. That means the show has emphasized that if you fight you can change the fate. That is quite a good message and much needed one in today's soap scenario where leading ladies are known only to cry buckets holding their mangalsutra and sindoor
