There is no right answer. Of course each actress will see the show from their character's POV but to me this was kabir's story through and through. But that is just my opinion.

They got an extensions of 5-5 episodes at the last minute. They have alreadyworked on the ending of the serial. So the last week we have had to just view filler episodes with Shreya and her pill popping/ Manav with his big and confused eyes/SG and Ananyas dumbness. Kabir is left being patient and waiting (for what i dont know and in the meantime making coffee ). I suppose filler episodes are done with and the last week will be once again thrilling with Kabir in action together with the rest of KKN. Just 6 more episodes. We also have to wait for the ronnie lookalike sardarji - he might be the new Business head which Khalid was talking about today

this show was different, not saas bahu saazishein.. that's why it's hard to digest how shreya character to be given mainstage and the smart heroine (shown to be different from TV serial bahus) all of a sudden becomes dumbo. i feel shreya gets more footage now.

Gitanjali, my main reason of saying so is because the story seems to be most rational and thoughtfully written from Kabir's perspective all throughout (with minor bloopers) be it his his past, his connection to SK's case or his present...but from Ananya's perspective there are lot of loopholes and irrationality involved wrt to SK's case (no point of discussing those over here as we all are well aware of them)...

Gitanjali I feel Shreya was always an integral part of the script but as you said it was much better if her track wasnt made to mix with that of RG and SK murder or atleast with Ronnie's murder. Honestly I never had issues with her until KaYa engagement sequence or even when she plotted to reveal Kabir's truth to Ananya in the form of those mails. Her evilness perfectly blended with the script with Shreya never getting too much footage specially more than KaYa. But what seriously made the tracks go haywire for me was Ronnie's death. There was no need of Ronnie getting killed. May be I am too selfish for KaYa but I think Ronnie wasnt so important that he took a center stage for atleast 3 weeks leaving the focal point of the story i.e. Kabir and Ananya way behind.

Though I have never been of the view that only Kabir should be shown as the hero and thats the reason I never had an issue when Trisha helped him know about his feelings or when Ronnie used to help him in patching up with Anu but here Ronnie's death and Shreyas involvement in it, for the first time made me feel as if this show is not about KaYa which I didnt much appreciate.

But then I feel no point discussing it over and over again...I am glad atleast in the last week KaYa are together and fighting against all odds with all their wit.

By the way after her entry in KKN writers have not given her a single sensible dialogues.. First week she is stick to that itni bhi nafrat vala dialogue...after that part of the Kashyap's family n at last tukde vala Dialogue n mmedicines.they just stick her to the show anyhow by given her all the pathetic dialogues n scenes
