Accha my nimchu wala kand...I put some eggs on to boil and walked away. put it on high heat. Sat down to watch the rest of kkb with plenty of water in the pot and stove still within sight from the couch. Then 7 minutes later dad came by and noticed I turned on the wrong burner so the water for the eggs hadn't heated at all but the plastic handle of the pot might be starting to burn/melt because it was above the wrongly lit burner. It didn't really melt but there is a hideous odour of wrongly heated plastic. Haila di fail!!!!

Lesson for laadlis: do not use the stove on autopilot. When using this dangerous household appliance make sure mental pilot is awake and alert and not suffering sleep deprivation or overeating or sleepy dB syndrome.
