Just want to say Sindoor scene was perhaps never supposed to happen the way it happened in promo. Promo was shot altogether different n Gayatri was in different lehnga in promo.

Overall episode was good. RM is manipulating poor Gayatri's emotion. I can feel Ranaji's emotions but just one thing i want CVs now to stop showing Ranaji going into flashback after seeing an ornament. That is looking repetitive now.
Kangna, ring n now nath.

I guess Ranaji himself didnt realize that he didnt fill the maang of Gayatri as he was too deep in his thoughts. N someone said if Sindoor falls on nose it represents husband will love his wife more in future. May be CVs wanted to show some symbolism here. Anyways Gayatri's maang has already been filled with blood, accidently though.

RM n govind seth exchange of words were superbly written.

U didn't like portrait? I liked it. But yeah i hope they dont give this look to Gayatri post marriage.

That works! I have heard that before too...😃

Ranaji loves brooding n cocooning himself in misery ; basically he feels if he moves on it'll be a sin 😆
Wish him all the best
Abt Gayatri , she's flying real high , the intelligent part of her did give a kick that her "dream man" din fill her maang but the mooning part won so stage all set for Gayatri to face reality now

Who would have thought ...being faithful to the wife would be perceived as an irritating feature by the audience...😆

The way he looked at her portrait as he unveiled it Did I imagine it? He seemed drawn and captivated by the picture...until RM said something to irritate him. Ditto with the sindoor scene- Guy was lost in Gayatri's beauty, literally LOST. until his gaze fell on the nose ring and the memories came rushing and he forced himself out of the dreamland.

Lakshya- Seemed the most heartless of the lot- He sounded like Kamsa when he said he'd kill any baby that'd pose a threat to him.

Kuwarji and Kokila- Adorable as villains...The way she went and sat on his lap and he reminded her of propriety! 😆

RM- Don't know what this woman gets out of irritating her son!

BRM- Captain of Team Ranaji. (I hope.)

This episode made one feel the ME never happened, except for Laksh's grief. Notable that the father cared enough to go in search of him and consoled him- He is definitely not anti- gay.

Back to the Sindoor scene- Gayatri looked so pretty. Ranaji looked so lost. I felt some chemistry there.

My fears: I hope the story does not take a back seat. Zee has put together an amazing cast n crew...hope they don't lose focus midway. I really hope they keep Ranaji a gentleman beneath the Angry Young Man- That is all I ask for.😳

You are such a romantic Chick!!! 😃 You saw all that in the portrait scene???😆 I wish he is more blatantly captivated by Gayatris beauty...by her eyes if you ask me...so that the less sensitive radars can pick up the signal too!!,

BRM- will surely carry the torch...let's hope he comes to a point where he doesn't want to be in any team that's against her...

You see that's the problem with us on IF...we want everything and we want it NOW!!! Then we complain why the shows we like end up so soon...well that may have something to do with the HURRY we are in...just saying...😆

The man surely has a fascination for jewelry. I mean today's episode emphasized the same old, same old. We get it you're a grieving widower who does not want to marry Gayatri. In a way I admire his faithfulness that is something to admire coming from a King who could have easily moved on. But the CVs really need to move on with the story and focus on depicting a different point. Perhaps make him talk to Gayatri and tell her you are my wife and the Queen of my Kingdom but my heart belongs to someone else. I have said this I wouldn't mind Gayatri living in a Paro type situation. As I have said her husband never disrespected her even if he didn't respect or give her any affection.

Lakshraj is such a loser. Does he really even want to be King? Or is he just being manipulated by his parents? Their forcing him into becoming something he is not. You can tell he just follows his parents orders blindly. Not that I feel an iota of sympathy towards him. He is responsible for what he did. He has no right to ask expect forgiveness from Saroj. But than again should we feel bad for Saroj? He too was ready to kill someone. But he did it out of love? Like Chachaji said they are all playing the game of Rajneeti. Anyone can be after anyone? There is no such things like relationships in Rajneeti. Hmm...

Great post Sush! Great Collages Di!!

About the jewelry fetish...don't forget the immense possibilities that remain...
Mangalsutra,...
chudiyan
Toe ring
...😆

And then of course her favorite sari...color...vacation spot...,,!! Are you sure it's only the jewelry that's the problem???😛

Looks like my prayers will be heeded. 😆
I like the situation here, Sush.

Gayatri got a Shiva idol as her engagement gift. Mahadev was devoted to his first wife too. He wouldn't give Parvati a second glance. (Hope the symbolism doesn't extend to one legged stance, etc.😉😆)

Ranaji has got me fascinated. His etiquette demands he be polite to any woman...his reality wants him to lash out anything that has been forced on him. This is where RM and Kokila are acting as opposite forces. RM reminds him how he was forced into this- Kokila makes sure he cannot abandon Gayatri. Caught in this tug of war is Gayatri. Its going to take some time for her to process Ranaji...

...Another interesting distractant is the saazish..Ranaji has his hands full. He really doesn't have the time to spend on Gayatri's thought processes...There are too many things he himself has to sort out.

On the whole, pretty interesting.😉

🤔
I sincerely hope there are no Sulakshana sarees lying around...specially ones gifted her by Ranaji...

..I know that is too much to hope for. Of course there is a saree..or a gown. Kokila is going to make sure Gayatri wears it.🤢

Lovely post, Sush and Shweta 😃

Mighty late to the discussion. It does seem like the ME did not happen... apart from the wedding of course.

Soup: Kokila is definitely going to make sure Gayatri wears one of Sulakshna's sarees. They cannot miss the chance for DRAMA!!

Did not like a spoiler title I read on the main forum. Walking on coals was bad enough, why the walking on nails bit?? UGH!! 🤢

Thanks Shweta- I tried looking for this post last night and could not find it. May be was little too early😕

Ek chutki sindoor - I thought that would be your title Sush😆 but then this is perfect😃
I am just relieved that atlast the wedding is done. The story needs to move on. There were 3 dialogues in particular that i loved yesterday apart from what you said.

1) Gayathri:"Parchayi to fir bhi andhere mein saath chod deti hain"
2) Rajmatas: "Humara karz utargaya... something like that can't remember it"
3 Shethji's answer to it: " Aj se humare ghar ki laxmi apki hui"

All the three were not that outstanding however it was fit for purpose and that is what i liked the most.

I never voiced out my liking about the colorful set, outfits and cinematography. 👏 👏

And then the flashbacks How come Sulakshna did not require the ghoonghat or veil and Gayatri does😕

Beautiful collages Shweta

PS- How can a man remember every piece of jewellery and to me that is commendable.
