finally we get to hear something about this show.. any news on who is playing sita ji?

I am so happy to hear that they approached Ashish Sharma for Ram. He was so good as Chandragupt Maurya. He is madeup for such roles only, pata nahin kaha phas gaya lolz. I hope he says yes to this

I know, even I felt so upon hearing this news.😕Ashish's face looks too hardened to play Shri Ram. He'd be more appropriate for the angry young man type roles. Ram should be played by someone with a soft and innocent face.

Given that this is a Sita-centric Ramayan, whoever gets Sita would really be batting big. I like Mrunal, but just have trouble imagining her opposite Ashish Sharma.

I'd like Kajal Jain, who did Yashodhara on Buddha, or Tanvi Bhatia, who really excelled opposite Ashish Sharma in GkD, to get Sita's role: either of them would excel in this. Mrunal could be a good young Sita, but if they take this as far as Sita's vanvas, then I can't imagine Mrunal as a mom to 2 kids.

For Rama, if Ashish doesn't end up as him, I hope to see either Himanshu Soni, who played Siddharth/Buddha in Buddha, or Shravan Reddy - the Neil of DYM which is ending - as Rama. At least Rama & Sita need to look good next to each other

I feel Ashish will be good as Ram. Remember seeing him in his past show, Gunaho ka Devata. He conveys a lot through his eyes. Can show softer expression too.
Sita needs to be strong if the show is from Sita's pov. Mrunal is a good choice.
