Hello @G, Good to know you have many things to look forward to in your US trip. Do you know how to knit? With the winter arriving in few months, some hand-knitted items may be a great gift for babies. Before you ask, I don't know how to knit. 😆

Nowadays I am on the minimalist bandwagon and also secretly wishing to be a farmer. Not that I am naive enough not to know the realities of farming (just saw Pres visiting a farmer from California where drought season is plaguing the entire state). Spending a summer working either on dairy farm or vegetable farm might not be a bad idea. Not watching any TV (Indian or otherwise), I feel I have time to do other things or at least dream about them. 😕

Have a great trip to India Sush. I feel if they had stopped at the first mission impossible movie, that would have been good. With each subsequent sequel, it becomes that much more uninteresting (to me i.e.). One of the very few movies whose sequel I liked was "Gods must be crazy". Such an endearing movie (to me i.e.)

Hope those in US are enjoying summer. Those in India, I hope the monsoon has been good to everyone weather wise. I feel so glad to come here (occasionally nowadays though) and say hello to all of you. 🤗

Happy Monday. Its been a hectic summer. I have too many events to go and not enough time. Although its dying down a bit now which is good. All I am doing now is prepping for my US trip. I have a list of things to buy and bring to US and a list of babies I need to meet for the first time for whom I need to buy presents 😆 So I am constantly shopping nowadays, any free time I get!

Indra - when are you in NY? I am coming to NJ on August 28th - September 5th. If you want your alone time ruined please let me know, we can come see you in NY 😆 I have enough people to go meet in NY as well.

Soup - you have the patience to watch Gul. Although your right she is addictive as a story teller. Still haven't watched ETETR. I am still watching JDJ from last week which btw I haven't finished. I am yet to watch the sat and Sunday of this week too...😆

We have yet another London tube strike on Wednesday!!! go figure... and a train strike over August bank holiday weekend...

On another note...The multi-millionaire Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has given his agent Jorge Mendes a Greek island as a wedding present 😆 Mendes is already one of the richest men in Portugal now he has received a Greek island as well which apparently has been sold for only a few millions!!!!!

Yes, I hope third time is the charm. I was watching the show last night and thinking there are very few actresses or actors (other than SI) that can get me to watch their shows just by their name alone. DD is the only one. I know many aren't fans of the actresses or actors but some actors always "bring it" - and others. . . well you wish they would disappear. . . .

I agree that QH should have died a long time. . but it's Gul's "baby" so it must be kept on life support as long as humanely possible 😆
