4 Lions Films' popular show, Qubool Hai on Zee TV will go through yet another generation leap, thus bringing a fresh packaged product with new faces, to the viewers in the months to come!!

Yes, this is the exclusive news that we have received!!

As per reports coming in, the channel and production house have decided on taking the story ahead by another 20 odd years in the month of August 2015. And getting into the new story plot will be fresh male faces!!

Wondering what will happen to the female protagonists then?

Our reliable source informs us, "The only faces to be retained post the leap will be the two female leads, Surbhi Jyoti and Additi Gupta. A closed room discussion between the channel and production house has resulted in them taking a decision to not retain the present male leads, Karnvir Bohra and Varun Toorkey. The new male leads coming in will bring a new zeal of energy into the show."

As we know, Qubool Hai will be getting a new time slot from this month end, at the 7.30 PM slot. And the need to package the show with the required freshness in cast and story plot has been the priority of the channel and maker, is what we hear.

We tried contacting Producer Gul Khan, but she did not respond to our calls.

When contacted, Surbhi Jyoti told us, "This is news to me. I will be very happy if I am being retained in the show. But seriously, I have no clue about it yet."

Additi also remained clueless about the news, and had no comment to offer us.

Our attempts to get a confirmation from Karnvir Bohra remained futile.

For the uninitiated, Qubool Hai earlier took a generation leap in April last year (2014), post which Surbhi Jyoti was born again.
