Ranveer claiming Ritika as his wife was a fault even when Ishani was alive and she was his legally wedded wife... Promising another woman at this point of time is betrayal in a relationship even when u are heart broken... He was not in the right state of mind. He should have waited for either Ishani to die or should have filed the divorce papers... Had he claimed Ritika as his wife even after he thought that Ishani is dead, his character would have been justified. Even if Ri does not turns negative this is something which went against this character... i cannot ignore this point unless CVs make Ranveer realize that he was at fault or makes him a strong character...

Ishani left him in the hands of Ritika who is a murderer and Ranveer left her to die at call of Ritika's labor pains. He could have called a doctor and send him at his place. Why he had 2 go there... Both a friend's concern and Ishani's love both would have be given equal justice... His turn of a car justified him as Ritika's friend but not as Ishani's husband..

Ranveer thinks that Ritika is his friend ho is completely dejected and shattered and Ishani thought that Ritika was good person whose kid would be claimed illegitimate if she enters Ranveer's life... A struggle that would be faced by her kid similarly as she had faced throughout her life...

Ranveer even when Ishani returned never tried to find out how her death sentence got forgiven..

Lawyer fought the case... but he never thought who gave him the case... Who actually saved Ishani and why ( I am talking about jailor and judge )

But yes Ishani's promise to Shikhar, I have no justification, no logical one, no illogical one. Me just like others have criticized it as well... 😆

Ishani's stupidity I cannot explain well u have done it well...

My point is that both these characters have disappointed me to a great extent and cannot understand the decisions taken by either of them...

Life is fun, I know and for that I bashed Ranveer a lot. You don't trust me? Please do go through the threads as I have used the kind of words for him I'd never use for anyone in real life.
He was wrong and the only justification I could give was that they needed to fill Shakti's place and for that they had to show him doing things which were just not him.

Apart from this he has already suffered for those mistakes. Did Ishani not leave and hurt him enough for that stupidity of his? I don't justify the character 'cause I never did but you know he has already paid enough for that. Why does he deserve to see Ishani going to that lawyer for that one mistake of his? Going by the characterization of Ranveer I feel he would certainly regret because Ri's a murdered.

anyways coming to scenarios you want me (not) to justify...well to start with the case...(since you have been thriving on written updates let me tell you)...shikhar didn't study her case file properly...or what situations have led her go to jail, all he knew was that the judge believed in her and she had to be freed in a days time...so in that time all he could was manipulate the minister!

secondly when he saved her she was a stranger to him and all at that point he cared was somebody was committing a suicide and he had to stop that! may be now you can answer me how starngers you meet do you remember what they have said to you...( may be u could take this opportunity to remember i have said in this thread, mere some pages back ALL CHARACTERS ARE FLAWED, since am a stranger to you, all you know about me is my name, you can relate better), so why in Shikhar's case does he have to remember evry detailed bit about what ishaani said to him at a phase when she had meant nothing to him...but since the time he started caring for Ishaani, ishaani kept to her story that she doesn't love ranveer...and regarding when ishaani wants to protect Ranveer, why should shikhar doubt that...for shikhar knows that ishaani cares for ranveer ( if you dont love a person doesnt mean you cant care about that person)...moreover their is a loophole under what circumstance Shikhar agreed to help ishaani...we do not know that! so it would be better not jump down to conclusions about Shikhar!

But somehow i see you are biased about Shikhar being cunning...well its ur thought...i am driven by mine! Each one to his own! and about Being "stupid" yes he is an idiot for loving Ishaani so much, he is a idiot to trust and have faith in her!! He is an idiot in believing in her, while ishaani remains to be selfish without giving him the whole truth!

Shikhar not reading her case files properly is the excuse you came up with?? Any lawyer would atleast bother to read anything a case is about and this reason in no way holds true.

Coming to your second point of Ishani committing suicide and him not remembering anything about it. Well, she was committing suicide and after one day of this event she came to live with his family, right? In one day he forgot the biggest reason he had met this girl, huh? The reason she was going to kill herself? Would you really forget a person in your entire life [and thus the cause for which they were going to end their life] if this happens to you? People do not committing suicide for having fun for sure.

As long as Ishani's attitude towards Ranveer is concerned she called him the moment she was about to die and why should Shikhar not have any second thought about it? Give me one reason, please. And another thing is that if Ishani made clear to Shikhar that she never loved him she also made him clear she hated Ranveer [and this was exactly what caused Mr. Delusional to go into the world that Ishani was wronged by her husband].

Look, we definitely do not like Shikhar but that doesn't mean we'd hate him for any reason which does not exist. He has given us every reason to be harsh on him.
And just like your hero you people are unaware of Ranveer's story [taking your first comment into consideration that you saw Ranveer as not-so-decent guy ever since you saw this show]. Ranveer's story is not very easy. He has not just gone through the the agony of your regular lover but far more than that. He has died many times only to get back again and to die again. This is exactly what's happening to him and he has failed many a times but that failure is understandable most of the times given he has been strong for too long without letting anyone know. Even now no one knows this. But he's going on. :)

Life is fun, good to hear from you. :) And CVs are making him for it is the reason I defend him more than Ishani. Ishani had always been the cause of his pain and he can't stop loving her. Though many a times she wasn't wrong but now she is. I never was mad at her. Be it her dumbness in the beginning of the show 'cause of Chirag or later her being the reason for Ranveer's almost death. I always saw she had some reasons and probably anyone could have done what she did at her place? I even defended her during the jail episodes. But once the hospital episode aired my all sympathy for her vanished. Her cruel words to Ranveer and as well as her ignorance towards his pain made me sick. She and her Shikhar both disgusted me to no end. They both still do but now one thing is clear that she loves him.

Wonderful post EH about ranveer simply love this character and shakthi has portrayed him so well👏

EH I am not giving you any reason, am just pointing out what happened and how...
