So I have decided to split the note and the update, especially now that I can afford to mark two posts. And it's solely for the reason that I WANT the readers to read the notes, atleast the ones which are put up with the chapters. First up, from the teaser to the update, I have changed the usage of one teaser. This one was MORE important. So yes as most of you guessed the second couple were Arhi and the first were initially Aman and Lavanya but I changed it.
We are now at the crossroads of the past colliding with the present in the story. Lots of angst, emotions and Arhi await you. DONOT just read but read between the lines from this chapter onwards. The characters are set and we will have passing references of few and maybe one more entry but now its all about Arhi. I have deliberately kept lavanya away in this Chapter but she will be back in the next, to meet her match.
And now something for my regular readers, some of you have been actively guessing about the past. (and those who haven't can start now), I will now from the next chapter announce the people whose guess/ prediction is accurate in the story AND THAT READER GETS TO READ THE UPDATE BEFORE IT GOES UP FOR OTHERS. Lemme know if this suits you guys, the regular readers I mean. And I mean every word of what I am Writing.
Some of the readers ( jay, kavi, EC, and few others) have already made a few guesses about the past and the characters and guys I remember it all. I will NOT put up the exact thoughts because I want you to read up the chapters and get your answers. But I can tell you that you have got the tail right, though the elephant still seems missing. But well tried. There is a lot more coming up we have just started. So hold it and keep reading BTS.
And I don't have to say this but I am reading each and every comment and I know whose line of thoughts is correct and whose guess is not. But yes from this chapter onwards things will fall into perspective and that is why I am saying that you need to catch the hints thrown in the Chapters.
The above chapter was turning out to be too long and so I have divided it into two. This one is chapter 8. The next would be up soon.
Now coming to another issue. I will be honest, I was in two minds whether to post the update or give it a miss, not cause the update was not ready but because my sole purpose of posting on IF hasn't met its expectations. I was told by a very old member and buddy here that people do end up reading stories and THEY COMMENT. I think I had mentioned this before that i am not looking at a big readership but a 'dedicated' one for sure. And since I do have a life beyond this place I totally get it that one could be busy to not post 'immediately' but there is NO WAY that one doesn't find time to post in weeks together BUT have all the time in the world to read. How do you justify that?
I have been in touch with some awesome people here who actually have written down some beautiful comments here on the thread and also to me on Pms and scraps and I wish I could share those here but unless and untill the readers feel uncomfortable posting here its OK to personally let me know how you feel about the story. And I am not even talking to the regular ones. To actually gauge up the silent readers here is an unfathomable task and i get it that a certain section of the readers would always be silent ones. Fine you have an issue with English or articulating sentences, or your just shy or maybe you are just too stubborn and wont comment or as a matter of fact you're pretty lazy, but all said and done atleast hit the like button. How much time does it take to do that? There is an effort that goes into wriitng chapters and putting them up here and to be honest i donot do well with free-riders. I Don't know I will see the response to this chapter, now that we are at a crucial juncture and then decide further. I had mentioned in my opening note too that I don't want to shift the story or discontinue it and despite my "more than regular" Updating schedule if you give me crap that you don't comment cause you fear that I may leave the story unfinished, and are waiting for it to get over, BUT DO END UP reading, then I should look at first finishing the story "elsewhere" and then I may or may not put it up here. Fair enough? You see there are two sides to every coin. If you have your POV, I have mine. And i want you to see the other side of the coin too. I agree it's the case of once bitten twice shy for a few of you. But every writer is different.
I will also tell you very soon as to why I decided to write BTS and also as to why I am insisting on readers to comment more. And rest assure this will be a win-win situation for both me and my readers. Like I stated before I have been in the business for a long while and I do know how to safeguard my interest and also my readers. That is why I request you to pls hit the like button and take a while and comment, even if it's one word, it makes hell a lot of difference to me. And yes other authors may not bother about silent readers BUT I DO.
