Indians consider fair skin beautiful thats why fair & lovely earns huge chunk of profit every year. People are ready to skip medical treatment to buy fairness products. This reason makes bollywood crazy about fairness and that's why any fair girl can make her career in bollywood.

blaming audience mindset is not really done!

If Indians hated dark heroines, kajol would not have been so popular!

Where are the foreign recruits in bw besides Kat?
Ellie, Amy Jackson, Hazel where are they?

The popular opinion that Kat is popular due to her fair skin is bull!
She has a certain charm and that is why people are fond of her!

Kajol, PC, Deepika> Dusky heroines & popular!

I don't think I'd called BW racist but I'd call BW beauty obsessed than racist. They won't mind the dusky heroines but on a general consensus beautiful heroines are more popular than the unconventional looking ones! The other thing though is, mostly all heroines become extremely good looking after joining BW 😆

Kajol and Rani are the first two names that come to mind. These two have never (as far as I can recollect) done anything to change who they are. And they have succeeded in their career when they were in their peak. But at certain events the go all out with makeup. Wish they could just be themselves without worrying about what the society might say just because they are well known actresses.

Correct, how is being born fair a fault? You dont need to pull down fair girls, to make dusky ones feel good!
