Part 5The four were sitting in the same restaurant they met yesterday but today they weren't here to have fun but to discuss the huge problem they had put themselves in...well actually not them it's only asad and zoya while sanaya and haider are here to know about the matter
'Dumb...you two are just dumb...idiots your sisters are best of friends from past two years and you didn't even knew...' sanaya scolded 'how would I know..humi only use to address najma as golu' zoya argued 'exactly and tamatar as shona' asad said 'what the!! now who this tamatar is?' Asked sanaya 'sanu he is talking about najma...ayaan and asad call her tamatar' 'ohh God...this is driving me crazy...shona? Golu? Tamatar? Don't you guyz found some meaningful names for other to guess who the person actually is?' Asked sanaya
'We are so sorry sanaya madam now I will ask humi to make a new friend and give her some meaningful name...' zoya taunted, sanaya glared at her while she shrugged 'kuch bhi...we two called you two here to solve our problem and here she is inquiring about the nicknames' zoya said 'zoe relax...and sanu let them complete...' haider said looking at sanaya and zoya, controlling herself sanaya nodded 'zoe then...what happened?' Haider asked while zoya looked at asad before continuing
'zoya...you here...? What's going on?' Gaffur asked, dilshaad looked at all of them 'are they your family?' Dilshaad asked looking at zoya while zoya gave a helpless look to asad and nodded looking at dilshaad 'yes aunty they are my parents and its humaira my sister' she said sounding as much calm as possible 'api why are you here?' Asked humaira 'wo actually humi...umm ..I ' zoya fumbled and closed her eyes not really knowing what to say , dilshaad took her nervousness in a different way and thought that she is scared to reveal about there relationship
She went and placed her hand on zoya's shoulder as if telling her that let me handle ...zoya almost screamed inwardly but kept mum in front of dilshaad 'actually Mr.Faroqui asad brought zoya here...well asad and zoya love each other and because I wanted asad to get engage with someone else he brought her here so that I would know about them and won't move further with my plans' dilshaad said calmly 'love...but when? ..how? Why aren't we aware about it zoya?' Asked zainab 'may be because she had some other plans before binding herself in a relationship for life' dilshaad supported zoya while asya looked at each other clueless about where dilshaad was heading 'you guyz please sit na' dilshaad said giving them time to settle in and then continued as ayaan too reached there
'Actually Mrs.Faroqui I know it's not some perfect situation as we just now got to know about our children's secret love but it's still seems perfect to me as every member from both family is present here...' dilshaad said 'ami...what you..?' Asad started but dilshaad cut him off 'let me complete asad..so Mrs.Faroqui I wanted to know that if you two are ohkay with this all then can we fix there engagement by the end of this week' 'kya?' Asya shouted together 'but ami...' 'asad no ifs and buts...I asked you to bring the girl you love if you don't want to get engage to the girl I want and because zoya is here and luckily her family too...I guess it's a perfect timing for this discussion'
'Asad please do something' zoya whispered in his ears 'I am helpless...this was your plan right? Now stop ami if you can' he said angry on how there plan flopped 'Dilshaad I really am very angry with zoya for not telling this to us even when we had met asad before too...he is such a nice boy and if both asad and zoya are happy with it then I have no problem after all I myself want zoya to decide something about her future' zainab said and dilshaad stoop up asap 'where are you going dilshaad?' Asked rashid frowning 'we just fixed our son's engagement so was going to bring sweets' dilshaad chuckled
'Aunty please give us sometime to think..after all it's about our life' zoya said aloud praying for everyone to listen to her 'of course beta...take all the time you want' dilshaad said smiling 'dilshaad is right zoya you two take all the time you want but han meri taraf se to han hai...so dilshaad do bring sweets for fixing this rishta and about engagement we can discuss it tomorrow at dinner at our place' zainab said 'zaror Mrs.faroqui' 'do call me zainab after all we are relatives now' and both the laddies huged each other ..asya two were pulled in forceful hugs by there siblings
'Now I understand that why you wanted to look beautiful and different yesterday' humaira whispered to her while hugging and zoya cried out silently not really answering her back of anything letting her tease until she can ' bhabhi...I am so lucky that you are shona's sister...' najma said aloud hugging zoya while she gave a saddie smile and patted her back
'Oh my my they directly jumped at engagement' sanaya said very shocked with this piece of information 'yeah' zoya said sadly 'yeh sab kuch is book warm ki wajah se hua hai' she added angrily smacking asad 'ex-cuse me???' he asked shocked 'ex-cuse me my foot...you idiot you must had stopped me from going there' she reasoned
'Wah wah
ULTA CHOD KOTWAL KO DATEIN" I did warned you about the consequence but you were very much ready to be my girlfriend and how would I had known about humi being that shona...' 'ohh really...warned me...that wasn't a warning' she retorted 'acha then what it is?' 'Your melo-drama...there are some ways to stop something i mean Why the hell you had build up these abs and all han...you should had just tied me up at the chair...' she said
'Oh wow...' he said dramatically clapping while she glared at him 'one more word..I swear that one more word and you two will regret it' sanaya warned both of them in the most dangerous tune she could while they glared at each other
'Sanu haider please help...ab hum kia karen?' Asked asad 'look guyz it's such a sensitive issue and you two can't just deny in being in a relationship...it will hurt your family to the core' haider said sincerely and sanaya nodded...zoya's face fell hearing it all and all day's events played in front of her...dilshaad's happiness...her family there happiness...everyone's hopes...it's not like that she didn't realized the fact that in just these few hours there family who were strangers are now planning together there engagement function...they are happy with each other because they think there children are happy
She can't just forget those tears, tears of joy In dilshaad's eyes, that shine in her ami's eyes after knowing that she finally considered about getting married...she felt guilty for putting herself and asad in such situation but at the same time she became selfish, for the happiness of both families, she can't even calculate the amount of happiness the family will have after getting a yes from both of them
She has to do something, she can't just hurt there families like that especially those two mothers, playing with her hand she looked at her three best friends who were busy planning about how to over this all but here she is planning the opposite to It 'guyz...umm I guess we should agree for the engagement' she said and the other three shouted at her shocked to the core 'zoya what the hell is your problem? One after the other you are giving worst suggestions...' asad scolded while sanaya too agreed with him but haider was silent trying to understand the reason behind zoya's decision
'Asad listen to me...I admit that it's me who had us dragged in such a critical situation but please let's continue it for some more time...I know I am asking for too much but please say yes, not for me but for our family...I mean they were really happy even by just listening about us..I don't have those guts to snatch away there happiness from them moreover it's just for time being asad as soon as you will find someone for you we will plan out something in a such a way that it won't hurt our family...' she said looking in his eyes and he listened quietly...
What he found in her eyes was sincerity, love and care ... for there family and thus without uttering a word he shifted in his chair and sighed after which he noded making her jump in happiness and she hugged him because she was really happy but he was astonished 'zoe relax it's just a yes for this fake engagement' asad said while she gave him a wide smile 'exactly!! Fake, I agree that whatever zoe said is right, hurting the family is never a nice option but we really have to think something very soon to bring you both out of all this ' sanaya said and the three agreed
They were all set to go home and say a yes and as soon as they did it there house didn't remain a house where you can expect peace, as the elders had decided before about engagement now they were busy with decoration...a week passed by and it was the day of engagement
Asad along with his family came at Faroqui's mansion for engagement ceremony...the house was beautifully decorated with orchids as these are zoya's favorite and it was decided thay engagement will happen with just family and close friends from both the sides
Haider and sanaya too reached in sometime but ruhi and varun couldn't make it as they were out of city moreover the four found it good for all this to be hidden from them otherwise they would had ask details
'Guyz...' asad called out as he walked upto haider and sanaya 'not bad...asad you are looking too good in this sherwani' sanaya complemented him 'well thank you sanu now should we come to point?' He asked 'what point asad...? What's the matter?' Haider asked 'guyz I wanna talk to zoya once again...I mean I still feel that it's not right' he voiced out his thoughts
'Asad...relax yaar...zoya knows what's she doing and she told you na that it's just a matter of time...' sanaya said 'yaar!! why aren't you understanding my point..she said as soon as I will take a decision we will plan out something but guyz don't you think that she is doing wrong with herself I mean I know she loves her family but she have to look after her happiness too, there is no need for her to do all this for me or for the family happiness...I have been thinking about it since this whole week...and I guess she should back out and I will handle the rest'
'Asad I know you are concerned for zoya and trust us we too have been thinking the same in fact sanu tried explaining to her too but she is adamant' haider said 'that's her problem she think about other's before herself...at first she put herself in problem because of me and now doing all this for everyone else...this is not done yaar' he said almost loosening it
'We can't do anything yaar..see she is here...' sanaya said pointing towards the stairs from where zoya was coming downstairs along with humaira and for a moment asad stopped breathing...he felt as if a fairy was descending the stairs...he couldn't deny that zoya was looking very different then usual days and not to forget beautiful in that red Churidar dress with minimum make up but her internal beauty was enough to make her the most beautiful girl in the function
'Isn't she looking beautiful bhaijan?' Asked najma and he didn't even realized when he whispered a yes 'caught you' najma laughing whole heartedly bringing him out of his transe 'what najma?' Asad asked throwing glares at her way while she giggled 'come on bhaijan...you were shamelessly starring at bhabhi' she chuckled as she told him the reason of her laughing 'ara no najma, asad was checking what sandals zor had wore' sanaya said smirking 'uhh sandals?' Najma asked confused 'nothing tamatar...she is just joking' asad said 'fine I am going to meet bhabhi' she said and left while asad sighed 'asad I have an advice for you...' sanaya said in a serious tune while he hummed in response
'You two will make an awesome pair...how about you two think about it..?' She asked and he gave her a horrified look making her laugh 'sanaya today you proved that you are zoe's friend only...' he taunted while she giggled in response but only she knew what she felt when asad starred at zoya even though it was the first time she noticed such intensity in asad's eyes that too for zoya but it brought some positive feeling in her
Soon asad and zoya were sitting on the stage and as both the families joined them with rings the ceremony began 'think one more time zoya...we are taking a decision in haste' asad said as zoya was about to slip the ring in his finger 'I don't want to hurt anyone else asad...and I promise you won't face any issue in future because of all this...' she said and having no other option he brought his finger close to her so that she can put the ring in his finger and then he repeated the same and the hall echoed with clappings
Zoya was lying flat at her bed looking at absolutely nothing and then she looked at the ring in her left hand finger 'Zoya Farouqi' 'Zoya Asad Ahmed Khan' she said taking out and putting in the ring again and again 'although Zoya Faroqui is the best name but Zoya Asad Ahmed Khan too sounds good...so if I and asad get married then i will be called Zoya Asad Ahmed Khan' she said in such a way as if she was in deep thoughts and then her eyes grew wide 'marriage...I and book warm... no ... come on zoya you are thinking so much this engagement is just for time being ... moreover why will asad marry you when he can get any girl he want... but wait!! I am also not bad...I am Zoya Faroqui and it won't be a bad decision choosing me but why will he choose me? Ohkay I agree that we two are good friends, no very very good friends but we are completely different and I am just helping him out being his friend...yeah that's it!!!' She smacked her head for thinking too much and decided to sleep to save herself from anymore weirdo thoughts
Zoya was busy in a meeting and when she returned into her cabin she found 10 missed calls from asad...she hurriedly called him back
'Hey' he greeted
'Hi...you called...something important? '
'Yeah...wo actually I am going to London along with haider and sanu for few days..so we thought to ask you too' he said
'London suddenly? '
'Yeah actually haider and sanaya needed to attend sanaya's cousin wedding and because we have an important meeting there I too am joining them...' he replied
'No yaar you guyz go and enjoy...I have to look after our project' she denied
'Come on yaar that's not done...it's just a matter of few days moreover we will be free, no drama of lovey dovey couple...and honestly I am going because I need a break and I guess you too should relax a bit..' he said while she sighed
'Ohh when will you guyz leave...I will have to check my schedule' she said
'Day after tomorrow'
'Acha I will let you know in a while bye..' she said
'Bye...' he replied
She disconnected the call and went through her schedule and she really didn't had something important lined up moreover asad was right, it's just been two weeks to there fake engagement but she is really getting irritated with all of it not because her family keep praising asad and her couple or how he will become a great husband as she too knows what kind of a nice guy he is and how sincere he is about being a very good husband but because she is guilty for lying about it...asad is not a bad guy at all but she knows that they aren't the right one for each other because they are poles a part...
Finally she thought about asad's word and he is right she do need a break from this guilt and thus she picked up her mobile
Asad sat in his cabin waiting impatiently for her reply as his mind drifted back to yesterday's conversation with dilshaad
Asad starred at the ring confused about the happenings even though he and zoya knows that all this is nakli and for time being but what about the family and what will zoya feel and do once he find his life partner but if he didn't found any then what? Will he and Zoya get married but why would zoya marry him? She is beautiful and she will get anyone for her then why him...this all was really giving him an headache and he was confused about the answers or something which can provide some peace to him
'What happened asad..you are awake still?' Dilshaad asked as she noticed his room's light on and came in only to find him lost in thoughts with the ring in his hand 'ji ami needed to do an important work' said asad wearing the ring back 'is this work related to zoya?' She asked 'nahe to..no ami' he said 'asad...I am your ami beta and can understand what's going on in this heart of yours' she said..quietly he placed his head in her lap 'ami..I don't know what to do..I mean I know that I and zoya are engaged now but am scared ami...what if I won't be able to keep her happy...or if this isn't love and just attraction' he said...he felt a bit light after sharing half of his thoughts with dilshaad although he can't reveal the other half
'Asad...why are you thinking like this beta...? You two know each other from so long and I had noticed it beta that how much comfortable you two are with each other...yes I can't say anything about Is this love or only attraction but I can confidently tell you this that you two are perfect for each other moreover you are really good friends or ek bat yad rakhna beta ke ap apne life partner mai much talash karo na karo ek dost zaror talash karte ho or agar khush kismati se tumahre hone wali life partner tumhare dost hai toh what's the problem...asad there should be trust in one relation and then it can easily cross all the problems' she said caressing his hairs
He just listened to all this intently and closed his eyes letting dilshaad continue that same magic from her hands and in no time he was asleep
'I don't really know what love is neither I am aware about how it feels...what I know is that zoya is my best friend and I won't hurt her In anyway...this fake relationship will be fake only if zoya needs to get out of it and if she won't then as ami said life partner dost zaror hona chahie and zoya you are my best friend now what I need to do is to understand what I want and more importantly what zoya thinks and want...her happiness is more important then mine after all that girl can do anything for others and I should do everything for her...' he was lost in his thoughts when his mobile buzzed
