ok i have a tough one for u all....this is something that has affected most of us in some way or another...

scars left behind by acne....these i got from a bad facial!

i have extremely sensitive skin...everytime i get a pimple, whether i touch it or not, a huge black scar gets left behind which just doesnt fade away....

i really dont want to go for microdermabrasion as it costs too much as well as harms the skin up to certain extent...
'
i have tried all the creams/lotions available over the counter-nothing works...

i have tried a number of home remedies as well, but nothing seems to work....different packs etc etc

i was told lemon juice acts like a bleach...i tried this but--my skin is so delicate that it started geting small cuts...

now i seriously dont know what to do....
please help...

My friend had acne problem. She pinches it until bleeds and not only that she had scars all over the face, it looks like boil and was ugly. (but not black mark)

2 years later when I met her, my god, she looked lovely and all the scars disappeared and she did not have any acne. Her answer "OXY 10" She said she used only that.

Another friend also had the same but with scars - she recommended to us Anew AVON - the whole works - cleanser/toner/moistureriser etc.

So you could try that. Good luck

Sorry about that.

OXY 10 is a acne cream. Comes in tubes. Just apply over your pimples and few days later it is gone. You could get them in pharmacy.

It is easy to get in Malaysia/Singapore /UK Gem. Although I am not sure about Australia.

Have you tried applying fresh manjal. Just pound a bit of manjal with a few drops of water. Apply over your face and leave for 10-20 mins. Do not use too much as your face can turn yellow. 😉

Another product you can try is called ifI am not mistaken is "PROACTIVE" This product is by Cindy Crawford. A bit expensive and I heard it is worthwhile to use.

Sorry, I tried looking for your pigmentation problem but I could not find any.

Many suggestion from people was and you won't believe it - Whitening cream. I don't believe in that. Seriously. In UK it is banned cause eventually you could get skin cancer.

SO if you are trying skin products, do not go for whitening cream. Maybe you could go to a saloon and find out?

Sorry, could not be of help.

Hi Folks,

I jsut saw this topic.... 😳 Missed so many tips and suggesstions.

Here are a few suggestions. Hope this helps.

First of all I try to use many organic products, which dont have many chemicals and citric acid and artificial ingrediets and scents!! One ingredient to avoid is PARABEN which researchers say may cause breast cancer. It is a kind of preservative chemical found in many cosmetics and also some food.

I use an organic shampoo made by JASON, has many types of shampoo and conditioners and have great natural fragrance like lavendar, chamomile, henna, hemp etc or even fragrance free. There are different shampoos for hair loss, hair strengthening, dandruff and so on
Check out their site:
http://www.jason-natural.com/home.php

After coming to US I had a serious hair loss, thanks to the hard water that we have. Before I used Thermasilk shampoo and conditioner, but later switched to these organic products and my hair just feels lovely and silky
and has a lot of bounce and volume, hair loss is reduced considerably.
It is also good to massage your hair with olive oil or almond oil or a mixture of both. Our seasame/coconut oild will help too. Warm up the oil just a little and after massaging thoroughly, wrap a thick towel soked in hot water on your head and leave for a few mins. This helps oil to soak in. Then shampoo as usual. Better to air dry your hair and minimize the use of hair dryers!!

2. I too had dark circles and it gets more pronounced if I have a bad sleep. One winner I found is an eye gel from a company called Avalon Organics. Its super de duper. It is an organic porduct again, absolutely no side effects or rashes. Just dab into the eye area and, it just blends into the delicate skin around the eye like a dream. No oily look here. Their citrus flvored lip balm is also amazing. Keeps the lips moisturized for a loooooong time even in the dry US weather.

http://www.avalonnaturalproducts.com/

Both Jason and Avalon have fantastic face and body wash and moisturizers and other beauty products.
These are US based companies, but you may be able to find them in your local health food stores.

I also use and organic face and body cream which stay on for a long time and REALLY adds softness to the skin.

At home remedy.. yogurt acts as a fantastic bleaching agent, and does not irritate skin like lime juice.

Soak rose petals in water for some timn and splash it on your face to give your tired face and instant revival.

Multani mitti face pack is really good if you have an oily skin.

Will try to come out with more tips soon 😊
