Seriously - no more of random filler scenes.
For example, that part where Navya goes over the freaking time table like a teacher. They are all college students - they can read that board on their own. They could have cut this part out.

I am watching that episode right now and they wasted so much time on that. Ughh!

Didn't even take that long considering the amount of screen space they were given. 😕

There were few scenes that still addressed Nandu's trauma (especially on Monday). Even on Thursday when Amms/Manik were trying to force Nandu to go to the workshop.

Tuesday was when they dropped the ball.

The only disconnect that I had was the terrace scene - but well, now we know, which team is responsible for that.

Manik-Nandu bickering is very natural; they have always been like that.

I did too, just now. Less screen-space. heck even though i thought Manik was around , he wasn;t given much to play with except on Wednesday and Thursday.

Terrace scene- such a disappointment . Clearly whoever was leading the team goofed up with the brief because MaNan and Nandini were hardly there.

When you go from the big fight of Monday to no resolution to it on tuesaday or even now , of-course the disconnect would seem to be there.

Their bickering will forever remain, it;s not like they end up hating each other but thats how they communicate and share. Nandini who doesn't speak much these days only talk when he gets her through the Old MO.

Random thought- This shifting of narrators is interesting. Earlier Nandini used to speak a lot about Manik through Aiyaappa , monologues, that bit she says about him after the first shower scene after leaving the note - it was alway about him. So now when Manik does that it becomes jarring - probably why because we saw him and his troubles separately away from Nandini . While with her , the writers need to flesh her struggles more so that when Manik talks about it we have her POV to balance it or support it. It makes it seem he is the bechaara, over glorified one and she is being unreasonable. I think the stupid editing created that imbalance this week.

^^ These scenes , there were so many of them this week and that irritated me because I kept looking for MaNan. These scenes make me hate the side characters more. They harmed the flow so much 😡

@Nush- He is a smart boy , if he can ask her about science or make her talk about it- please. Conversations about her life , stuff and passion. Even if her music connect is healed , this choice should now come because of what she wants.

Best line this week: "That grand daughter - she is 100 x more difficult than her grandmother". 😆
In my head - "ofcourse, that's why you love her and she is the only one that can handle you"

It was all her perspective and how she dealt with him in those earlier days.

Now, the reason it becomes jarring when you use Manik as a narrator is because 1) Nandu's life has become all about Manik and 2) the circumstances they are in. This track is not a happy track. This is a difficult time for MaNan. Manik is the one who is trying to pull her through this mess and helping her out. So now, when he becomes a narrator, people sympathize more than Manik than Nandu.

LOL I have no idea if I made sense...😆

Lol and I don't know why I had a visual of Harshad and Nyo .😕😆

@KP- Ofcourse he likes that she is so difficult , appeals to the puzzle-solving nerd that he is . Word on only she can handle him.
They should have a competition of sorts- puzzle solving one. That should be fun.😆

LOL his reaction was hilarious!

I thought it was so funny that Nandu wouldn't let Manik leave - they both are so dominating with each other. I really liked the end scene from Thursday's episode.

You know you made all the sense!!😆

@Bold- EVERYTHING!! 👏
Basically while she got to play the good side, he is showing us her difficult side /darker/confusing one. Also her world is so him. Like they would have to build tangibles now - they should make her talk with Rishab, Cabir someone Mix it up with some happy memories, childhood , so that the view to Nandini is not all single shade.
Her conflicts need better support and more tangibles compared to him. This is why the always sort of are challenged with her.

@Bold: Bingo! He is showing her difficult/confusing side. He is showing us a Nandu who is broken inside, but isn't ready to confront her problems yet. The way she deals with them is escaping them, distracting herself or being a little stubborn. It's jarring because we have never seen Nandu like that. We have always seen her as a sensible one between the two - especially in earlier days, but now that they have done a backflip on Nandu.

@Blue: Absolutely, I never realized the importance of this up until yesterday. LOL I know this has always been there, but this week just made me annoyed that apart from Manik, no one else is accessible to Nandu. Make her talk with Rishab about happy childhood memories - that would be perfect!
