Hi beloved members of BDSAH forum ,
today is a day of big celebration because our lovely show 'Badi Dooor Se Aaye Hai' completed one year today .👏. The show aired its first episode on 9th June 2014 😃 and today it being 9th June 2015 , it completed one year with lots of masti and dhamal.

Lets see how some of the prominent characters of the show react to this Aah-mazing news

Vasant : Aaauaaa *Sangit sargam* 😎

Sharad :Yayayaya 😳

'Badi Door Se Aaye Hain' is about an alien family who lands on this earth to search for their lost son , 2015.They take form of human beings and start living in Sunshine colony, Mumbai because they feel they can find some clues about their son in the colony.Each and every colony member is unique in their own way but all are pure at heart and live in harmony and peace.This alien family who call themselves the Ghotala family initially found it really tough to create a place for themselves in the colony as well as the colony members' hearts but finally they succeeded in doing so with their weird yet selfless behavior.

Vasant Ghotala:He is the head of the Ghotala family. He is around 45-50 years of age. He can spin like a tornado , lift heavy objects with ease and also possesses shape shifting powers. He is an egoist as he never accept his mistakes and blames the other Ghotalas but he has a kind heart . He is a very loving husband and extremely caring father .He LOVES correcting Hemant when he spells a word wrong,and is obsessed with Bollywood .He can go to any extent to keep his family happy which even means choosing the wrong way at times, later he starts his own private detective agency with an intention to give an eye wash to the society people and with an intention to hunt for his son.

Varsha Ghotala:She is Vasant's wife, who has the superpower of flexibility. She is a protective mother, especially in Hemant's case and has high emotional connectivity towards her missing son .She tries to behave as a homemaker to hide their true identity.She is known for her wrong idioms .

Sharad Ghotala:He is Vasant's brother and his age is around 22 years. He has the superpower of telepathy and mind reading. He can also transform in to another human being .He loves Ana and starts 'Yaya-ing' whenever he sees her. He and Hemant share a good rapport. .He loves his brother a lot and always listens to his words.

Hemant Ghotala:He is Vasant's second son (after 2015). His age is 17 years. Hemant has the super power of being 'partially' invisible and healing the sick and dying . He has an amusing power of climbing walls and doors like lizards. Human language is not his cup of tea as he always misuses certain words . He is creative but dumb and dim-witted. He usually creates trouble for his family by being 'Horribly truthful' but he is unusually better than others at certain things.He regards Bhairavi as his sister and loves to tease Sharad.

Shishir Ghotala:He is Vasant's youngest son of 10 years and probably the smartest member of the Ghotala family . He is calm ans reserved and has the superpower of viewing anywhere . He also possesses an in-built encyclopedia which provides Ghotalas information about various things.

Bhavna Bhatt:She is the head of the Bhatt family. She has a mysterious problem with respect to her husband, which is not yet revealed in the show .She is hot tempered, which is understandable due to Bhairavi's dumbness and Bhadresh's laziness . Despite this, she is a loving mother to both of them. Her excessive bargaining nature is one of the comic elements of the show.

Bhairavi Bhatt:She is Bhavna's DIL and Bhadresh's wife. She gives a tough competition to her 'Rakhi brother' Hemant at being dumb . She misinterprets Bhavna's instruction and creates hilarious situations.She never admits her own mistake and always accuses Bhavna for not 'clearing' it. Despite all this she has a very pure heart just like Hemant's. At times her words and actions can make just make you go 'Aww...'.Her catchphrase is "Toh barober" followed by sticking her tongue out.

Bhadresh Bhatt:He is Bhavna's son who is Extremely Lazy . He loathes work and loves to sleep all day. He loves his Baa but is more supportive to Bhairavi.He regularly teams up with Ronnie to irritate uncle Ojha. His catchphrase is "Same mazza aayega".

Pritesh Bhatt:He is the younger son of the Bhatt family. He is unusually very VERY intelligent and shrewd unlike other children of his age. His mission is to expose Ghotalas in front of the colony members but he means no harm to them as at times he is a life saver to Ghotalas.

Mitesh Bhatt:He is Pritesh's elder brother who is a normal child unlike him. He advises Pritesh not to interfere in Ghotalas' life.

Ronnie D'souza:He is the head of D'souza family and Liza's husband . He is really aggressive and won't hesitate to pick up a fight .He is from Goa & his religion is Christianity. He is very weak in Hindi and always asks the meaning of other words whenever he gets stuck which leads to creation of new hilarious words. He always teams up with Bhadresh to irk Uncle Ojha.

Liza D'souza:She is Ronnie's wife who shares Ronnie's aggressive nature but to a much lesser degree. She is mature and understanding and acts as a guide to Ana regarding her love life . Her fury reaches the sky when Ronnie gets stuck as she is the one who usually corrects Ronnie.

Anna D'souza:She is Ronnie's sister and Manav's fiancee but Sharad falls in love with her as well. After Manav comes back , she is stuck to choose her true love between Sharad and Manav. She can be seen at the Ghotalas' explaining them every event & anything they are unfamiliar with. She gets mad at times but she is very sweet & usually calls Sharad 'Buddhu'.Her takiya kalam is oh my God! I don't believe this.

Angel D'souza:She is Ronnie's and Liza's daughter aged around 8 years. She was mentally & physically disable until Hemant cured her with his new found superpower. She is a cute girl who usually stays quiet in the show.

Murlidhar Ojha:He is the head of Ojha family. He is better known as uncle Ojha. He is a big miser and takes pride being a Rajasthani 'Sath purush'. He loves to pulls Bhavna's leg but we see his strong and caring side when he hid the truth about his son's death from everyone.

Laajo Ojha:She is uncle Ojha's wife . She is sensitive when it comes to Manav. She slightly has a dislike for Ghotalas .

Manav Ojha:He is Ojha's son, an army soldier who was presumably dead until Rann Utsav track where it was revealed he is alive and captured by enemy soldiers. He is Ana's first love . He is genuine and nice as he really understands Ghotalas and doesn't accuse them for their weird behaviour.

One scene which made you literally ROFL (just one): Well from really recent it has to be the scene that aired on Tuesday when Vasant came back and Hemant ate the multiplier tablet. I watched that scene 5 times because it just kept making me laugh so much.

Why do you love BDSAH: I love it because it's a clean comedy with no double meaning dialogues. Also each track teaches you something new or shows you a new meaning to living life. The way the colony is so together is something that really represents India I feel and I love that as well. And then finally the cast and crew are doing a fabulous job and I love each of them for it!

One favorite dialogue throughout the show: Baad main matlab samjhane ka kya matlab baa. 😭 😆

One scenes which made you literally ROFL (just one) :There are many scenes which made me literally ROEFL but I remember one scene where the ghotalas were explaining to Lisa and Anna why they couldn't sell samosas and other stuff.So in that scene,there were many other food stalls too near the ghotalas and they started shouting the names of the food items sold by the other stall owners.🤣And the look which anna and lisa gave was just hilarious and out of this world.🤣Anna and Lisa's facial expressions were the funniest during that scene.

Why do you love BDSAH :Because it's hatke in the true sense of the word.This show has everything,drama,rona dhona,dance,masti and the most ingredient,Comedy.😊Other sab tv shows are funny only for the namesake but this show is truly funny.People can forget all their tensions and problems while watching the show.

Why do you love BDSAH: it makes me happy, make me laugh. When we watch this we feel totally crazy. We try to do or say things like them eg. To barabqr hain, ka baa - ha baba, ghotala dance step, yah yah yah , kkk... Almost all we copy in home. Its fun and its pure no drama.

One favorite dialogue throughout the show: in recent episode I heard I guess don't remember full. Hemant said to ojha uncle " hum apki photo print karne ke liye itna sab kar rahe hain aap bhi thodi madat kijiye market" hehe

A year back on 9th June 2014 a show started on sab tv with theme of aliens coming to earth. From day one it captured my mind and my imagination and slowly but surely started liking this show to the extent that I get my daily dose of laughter in form of the show. A show which has lived upto its promise of freshness in terms of comedy. In the times of sadness, stress, tension, Badi dooor se aaye hai filled up our lives with fun humor and laughter thus relieving us of sadness.

Now the show has completed one year full of madness and laughter and my wish for this show and the cast and crew is aap Badi dooor take jaoge and keep making us laugh..All the best.

Congratulations to the whole team of Badi door se aaye hain for their awesome journey in entertaining the viewers and making them laugh.BDSAH is indeed the most wonderful,the most hatke and the most marvelous show right now on indian television.

Congrats to everyone for the 1st anniversary of the show.I just wish u all celebrate many many anniversaries together and this show becomes one of the longest running comedy serials of all time.

It has been a year and yet it feels like just yesterday when the show started. I love Sumeet Raghavan for his choice of movies and TV shows because he really always brings something great and that was one of the main reasons I started watching BDSAH. Of course as time passed and things happened, I stopped watching due to a lack of time and at first I didn't miss the show at all simply because I was so busy. But then something happened and 2 months back I had this urgent need to watch the show and so I went back and started the show again. And since then there has been no turning back. The reason is quite simple: the show is a mix of everything from comedy to drama to crime to love to emotions to family. It makes you laugh. It makes you cry. It makes you want to hug your family and yet it makes you want to wack your younger sister (especially when she interrupts you 😆). But most of all it proves Sab's tagline true: Ke asli maza sab ke saath aata hai. I can never watch the show alone. It's always with family or friends or colleagues. And for that I would like to thank BDSAH cast and crew. Congrats on celebrating the 1st anniversary and may you have many more to come!!!

One year back, a show name Badi Door Se Aaye Hay was started which captured my mind from the promos only. It has every element whether comedy, emotions or anger. Keep it up on your work & keep making us laugh. The Ghotala family + all other families rock. 😎 A BIG CONGRATULATIONS!

Hearty congratulations to the whole cast and crew of 'Badi Dooor Se Aaye hain. I have been watching the show since day 1 without missing a single episode 😃.The main reason to watch the show was Sumit Raghavan as I am his fan since SVS days but today I love each and every character of the show infact Until the show happened to me there was nothing on TV which I can watch and enjoy. This show makes me laugh and cry. I simply love this show as its an all-rounder.

The show is wonderful in all aspects with amazing directing , bang on dialogues but still there are some scenes which are unforgettable . So lets have a look at.

1. Ojha as Narmada Bhatt :

This scene was aired on 14th April, 2015 . Ojha disguised as Narmada Bhatt , a character created by Bhavna to save him from the police. His getup was funny and his over dramatic tone of voice and OTT stories were hilarious to watch. He used this opportunity to get back at Bhavna by behaving as her dreadful 'Saas' (MIL). Bhairavi crying at his stories is like a cherry added. 😆.

2. Bhairavi-Time scene :

This scene was aired on 13th May, 2015. Bhavna asks Bhairavi to tell the time , Bhairavi exaggerates it to such an extent that Bhavna actually apologizes while crying . She didn't know how to make Bhairavi work properly , it was a 'yaha yaa phir waha' situation for Bhavna.

3. Vasant's interpretation of a race :

This scene was aired on 5th May, 2015. Vasant explained it with full confidence but it was totally wrong . He changed the meaning of a race itself 😆. According to him , the participants run in order to search the fired bullet which later falls in the trophy or should I say

"Uss bunduk ke goli ko dundne ke liye baaki insaan doud te hai aur jitne wala ko metal ka bartan milta hai, paani barne ke liye aur Bunduk ka goli usme hi girta hai" 🤣

4. Vasant's pregnancy :

This scene was aired on 26th May, 2015. Hemant declares Vasant pregnant when he felt dizzy. The funny part was Bhairavi asking him, "Kounsa mahina chal raha hai." The bro-sis duo raised question on Vasant's izzat. 🤣 Just imagine if it becomes true 😲🤣.

5. Elders in school :

This track started on 21st January, 2015 and lasted till the next episode (22nd January). Though it was just a figment of Ronnie's imagination , it was hilarious . The elders were too good as students , though they behaved like young children they retained their original traits. It was a treat to watch. The Ghotalas' jugalbandi added spice to the scenes while Ronnie's atakna and Ojha's dumbness added more fun.

The show is an all-rounder , while there are crazy moments in the show there also exist moments which make us go 'Aww' or feel really emotional. Lets have a look at 'Top 3 Touching Moments' and recall the impact it had on us when it was first aired.

1. "Tu toh mera sachha bhai hai"

This scene was aired on 8th May, 2015 . Hemant was initially sad to know that he wont be performing the rituals as Bhairavi's brother as her real brother arrives. But Bhairavi does the unexpected by deciding that Hemant will perform the rituals as he is her 'Sachha' (True) brother which means much more than a brother who is blood related. It entirely showed how beautiful their brother-sister bond is.

2. Aiding the Nepal earthquake victims

This scene was aired on 11th, May 2015. Hemant and Bharavi were trying to send relief items to the earthquake victims , anonymously as one should not announce when one extends a helping hand. This was conveyed very beautifully by HerVi , they considered India as Nepal's elder brother who is helping them without demanding any credits.

3. Mitesh-Pritesh school interview

This scene was aired on 4th, February 2015. Mitesh and Pritesh request the Principal to fail them both if they are not eligible to get admission in the school but don't show their mother in bad light as she will be broken . This scene was a very emotional one as the kids wanted to attend a better school but they were ready to let it go as they did not want Bhairavi , their mother , to be hurt . They did not hesitate to put themselves in bad light to make Bhairavi feel confident about herself. It showed the pure love a child has for his/her mother.
