I always wanted to write on Saagar Vidya though I have not watched their show Banoo main tere dulhan.Years passed.I didn't get any opportunity to write on them.But surprisingly this OS series gave me a chance to write on this beautiful couple.This os inspired by my own life.

The Proposal Ring
Vidya wears a beautiful red saree and looks at the mirror.She wears a ring.
"How can i not wear this ring when i dress for Saagar's cousin sister's sangeet ceremony?This ring may not be gold.But it's precious for me.Because it is Saagar's first gift for me.He is a perfect husband who showers love on me".
Vidya remembers that beautiful evening.
Flash back...
Vidya and Saagar are in a candle light room.
To her surprise Saagar slipped a ring on her finger.
"Beautiful ring Saagar".She was very happy.
"Vidya...are you sure that you are happy with this ring?"He asked her doubtfully.
"Of course Saagar.This ring is so pretty.And I loved the stone on this ring".
"But Vidya...you know that it is not either gold or platinum.The stone is neither diamond or ruby"
"So what Saagar?For me this ring is more precious than gold and diamond.Because you bought this specially for me with lots of love with your hard earned money.I loved it.I will teasure this ring forever".
He smiled.
"I am so lucky to have such an understanding partner.I will get you a diamond ring after I get promotion".
She just smiled.
He held her hand and asked,
"Vidya,will you marry me?"
She blushed,
"What is the need of asking that?Of course I will marry you.If I don't marry you,whom will I marry duffer?"
They both giggled.

Vidya caresses her ring remembering that beautiful proposal scene.
Saagar comes home.
"Vidya..are you ready?Shall we go for the function?"
"Yes.We will leave now".
"You are looking gorgeoues in this saree".
She blushes,
"Thank you".
They go to the neighbouring house for the function.
Saagar is talking to someone at the party.Vidya looks at her finger.She is shocked to see her empty fingers.
"My ring!Where s it?"
She looks around.But she is disappointed with the result.She sees the bride's mother Ragini.
"Ragini aunty..i know that you are busy.But if you get any ring from the floor please give it to me.It's mine.It looks like a diamond ring.But it's not.It's an ordinary ring.But very precious for me".
"Ok Vidya.I will.."
"Thank you aunty".
Vidya is really upset.
"I lost the ring which i value the most.This is the ring with which Saagar proposed to me.Is it a bad omen?I'm scared.God..please save our relationship".
She prays in her mind.
Vidya is o upset that he can't enjoy the party while Saagar is having fun there.Vidya goes near him.
"I'm going home Saagar".
"What?Leaving the party?"
"It's night.The ceremony is over.I had dinner also.I'm quite tired".
"Ok.Go and sleep.I will come later".
"Ok".
Vidya is sitting on the bed thinking about the lost ring.
"Thinking about losing the ring is so painful.I have to tell Saagar about this".
Saagar enters the room.Vidya looks at him.
"You have not slept till now?"
"No".
Before she could say more Saagar shows the ring which she lost.She can't believe her eyes.
"Wow!I'm so happy now".
She takes it from him.
"I was so sad when i lost it.How did you get this?"
She asks.
"Ragini Maasi got it from the floor and she gave it to me".
"So sweet.Do you remember this ring?"
"No".He is confused.
"You don't remember anything other than your work.This is the ring you put on my finger while proposing me".
"Really?I forgot."
"Yes.So i was so upset when i lost it.Look at God's game.I lost it.I got it back from my own husband who gave me this ring.This shows that God made us for each other.He made our bond stronger".
He smiles.
"I gave you so many precious gifts.Still you value this cheap ring?"
"Money wise it is cheap.But it more precious than the other so called costly ornaments you gifted me.Because it's your first gift".
He smiles holding her shoulder:You are so cute Vidya.
She rests her head on his shoulder.
