CHAPTER 14

Roshni looked away at first but then nodded slowly.

This was noticed by Naina who urged Kabir to go on.

"Ya tell na,how?" she asked all excited knowing Kabir's smartness he would find a way out to get her to listen about Siddharth.

"Ok so u both are quite alike yet different. U know how?" he asked.

"Oh cabby stop building suspense!" Naina said irritated and Roshni gave a small laughter.

Naina gave her an Are-You-Mad look while Roshni said amidst laughing "Cabby? Like seriously."

"Oh please as if u didn't call Siddharth by any name?" Naina said and at once the laughter subsided.

"So u are alike as u both know!!" Kabir interrupted trying to get the topic as away from Siddharth as possible.

"But yet different because what all happened 2 years back repeated yesterday and u both reacted similarly at first but then later on u both gave contrasting results." Kabir explained much to the dismay of Roshni.

"Are we some bloody experiments? Results? Reacted?" she said in a pissed off tone.

"Wait little sister I think Kabir wants to tell us something." said Naina seriously.

"Thank u my lady! So 2 years back Siddharth lied to you but u asked him to leave u forever and now 2 years down the line Naina said the same thing to me that we are over!" Kabir spoke.

DD looked from Roshni to Naina trying to understand his words.

"But here comes the difference Naina apologized the very next day for all that she said but its been two freaking years Roshni and u still haven't apologized to Sid." Kabir completed.

He stopped the car and asked them to get out.

They all were amazed seeing the view.

"U know this is the place where Sid told me your story. All about you . He trusted me with the thing which was closest to his heart." he said deeply thinking of his words.

"He said one day Roshni and I will come to see this beautiful sunset here and that will be the day our life's problems would settle down with the sun!" he said teary-eyed remembering his friend's words.

"He's right Roshni u need to forgive and forget. He did all this for u!" Naina said patting on her shoulder.

Roshni looked at her hearing this.

"Yes for your happiness , he knew u would be devastated Roshni if u came to know of Naina when he left." DD said answering her doubts.

"But what about the lie he told today?" asked Roshni not knowing what she is saying.

"For God's sake Roshni he said only the truth today!! What he did today only a brave guy could have done. He sided with the truth." Naina said completely angry.

"U know I hated the girl named Roshni back when he told me of u. I could not see him like that. Today he could have again said a lie , he could have asked us not to say anything!" Naina explained when DD continued.

"And we would have kept it Roshni.. He has protected and cared for Naina for so long and I gave u all the riches I could but a guy like him ,I could have never given to u."

Roshni was crying by now..

"He used to have nightmares every night of u leaving him." Naina was crying looking ahead.

"He loves u like crazy!!" Kabir said "His world starts with u and ends with u.." he said looking at Roshni.

"He lives for u but it will not be long before he dies for u!" Naina said totally breaking down.

Roshni slapped her tightly.

"How could you say this about my Siddharth? He will live and will live with me." she said and hugged her.

Kabir and DD smiled amidst tears.

"So let's go what are we waiting for?" Naina asked getting back to her old-self.

"Call him and ask where is he?" said Kabir to Naina.

"U all will keep quiet ok?" Naina said.

"He is not picking up the call!" said Naina worriedly.

"Hello.." he said from the other side.

"Siddy where were u? Not picking up the phone?" she said keeping the phone on speaker.

Roshni seemed too angry.

"Oho Naina tell what is it?" Sid asked.

"Uh are u fine Siddy?" she asked concerned.

"I m ok Naina.." he said from the other side.

"Ok I am coming to meet u!" Naina said mimmicking out Roshni's actions.

"Ok.." he replied in a lost and thinking tone.

"Ok bye.." she said knowing he needed time.

"Naina u know I met someone today.." he said making her stop.

"Really ur crazy girl fans?" Naina asked winking at Roshni trying to contain her laughter.

"Yes and No.." he said and Kabir jumped in.

"Really was she hot?" he asked earning a smack from Naina and a glare from Roshni.

"She is getting married." Sid said irritated.

"She came with her fiancee and they told me how they had had a mis-understanding and had cleared it due to my songs." he explained.

"Alright..so thats good na Siddharth. Whats bothering u?" she asked concern on Naina's face mirrored into all faces in the car.

"The guy said that the day the girl had come back he was almost going to commit suicide." Sid said lost.

"Sid u are not going to even think about it!" said Kabir almost stopping the car with a jerk.

"Siddharth!!" said Naina shouting on top of her voice.

"Naina calm down..Guys I'll never do something like this. I am not so weak." Siddharth said thinking if he meant what he said.

"I am coming right away." Naina said seeing Roshni's scared face.

"I have decided something Naina. I am going to leave music forever." he said.

"But Siddy!!" Naina said.

"No it will happen , Roshni thinks my songs did not connect with her. I will perform one last time and prove to her how much I love her." Siddharth said.

"And what if she doesn't come back even then?" asked Kabir trying to know what was going on in his mind.

"I will leave her forever." Sid said.

The line got cut and the car fell silent.

"U better make it upto him Roshni." Naina said.

"I will!" Roshni said thinking of how she would have a long way to go.

"Kabir Siddy is disturbed. I'll be with him!" Naina said.

"Wait a minute who is Siddy?" she asked remembering the reason to be angry.

"Siddharth -Siddy." Naina said teasing her.

"Dont call him that." Roshni burst out.

"Oh my sister is jealous. Don't worry even if I look like u , he loves only his Roshni." Naina said teasing at first and then seriously.

Kabir stopped the car and Naina looked at Roshni and said "If Siddy forgives u ,which he will there will be one more person for whom I will do anything."

'I know he will forgive me but I promise Siddharth I'll take away your pains with my love. It will take time but I know one day we will both be complete again!' she thought and a lone tear escaped her eyes.
