- Sanjay dutt starrer Vastav was based on Sayaji shinde, Nadu madhav acted drama 'Aamchy ya gharat'. The mother was played by Bharati Patil (wada Chirebendi-fame)

- LalbagParel was based on 'Adhantar' (changalya natkachi mati keli hoti hyachyat.)

Ekunatach MM la goshti 'batabatit' karne aawadte bahutek. As against, I recollect Vinay Apte saying Marathi prekshala 'TA' warun 'Taak Bhat' kalto during his interview for drama 'Arunachi Goshta'

Last week, I attended an anniv of my company's bank. They had invited Juilee Joglekar (winner of the last SRGMP schedule) as the chief guest and she was naturally asked so sing something. When she asked what people wanted to listen to, the unanimous demand was the title song of D3!

She sang it perfectly, of course. But just goes to show how D3 has captured the imagination of the viewers. (The bank is located in a semi-urban area.)

While surfing the channels, a ticker on the *Pravah screen showed that the ultimately regressive serial 'puDhche pAUl' has so completely lost it that they are now switching the personalities of the heroine Kalyani & vamp Roopali (I hope I got the names right!). So now Kalyani will be the vamp & Roopali will transform into a good girl. This happens only in India(n TV)!

I suspect they are dragging their feet on showing a reconciliation between Shree & Janhavi on HSMHG because they are going through divorce in real life. MaTA last week even gave the case number in Pune family court where Shashank Ketkar has filed for divorce. Sad but perhaps not too surprising. It did seem they married each other's characters in the serial!

This (again) reminds me the Marriage-divorce of Jenifer Ehle-Colin Firth; the lead pair of Pride & Prejudice serial (BBC Serial 1995)

he has always been a good actor ! there are diff of opinions over TP's acting skills not his.

Priyadarshan Jadhav is going to be featured on one (or all?) of the ZM serials this week. Probably Priya Bapat may also be roped in.

Priya Bapat must be hoping for sequels to 'shALA', 'tAnI' & 'ArohI'!

I agree. Like the heroine of 'mAjhe man tujhe jhAle', TP too speaks her lines in a higher pitch than appropriate or normal. So she appears to be pleading/ lecturing all the time. SK, OTOH, speaks in a normal tone.

I don't know if I had rung a warning bell when I read about SK-TP engagement but I felt that it was the overwhelming success of the serial that had brought them together and they were acting in haste. I do hope that they get back together since both seem such normal and likeable people.
