Nikita, I agree with you about Shaad thinking only about SK. But, Janab Aftab Khan distinctly said that her mother left them. Writers can conveniently forget what they have written so far and show her alive. If she is alive, can we please have a classy actor like Shalini Sagar? I have found Amina Parvin to be a lady in league of her own.

Google tells me that Amina was Prophet Mohammed's mother's name and she died when he was young. It means loyal, trustworthy and faithful. One of the meaning is 'feel safe'. It is quite a loaded name, I must say. If she really is alive, they better give her a strong story and not just throw one more character in cauldron full of characters that come and go without much rhyme and reason.

@bold - its sad they do that, not only with new characters that enter but also well established characters like Dilshad. It really was pathetic, the way they ended Dillu's character.
