Chapter- 12

Arnav followed Khushi leaving a smirking Sheetal behind and reached on time before Khushi could close the door.

Arnav: Khushi! But Khushi turned away and walked to bed.
Arnav: Khushi please stop crying! He said now sitting on his knees in front of her but She kept crying looking at other side.

Arnav: Khushi I am sorry for what happened downstairs, I didn't knew... I... He stammered unable to decipher what should he say when he heard Khushi speaking.

Khushi: You were lying! Arnav looked at her confused.

Khushi: You were lying when you said you're not embarrassed because of me, you were lying when you said that my lack of education doesn't makes any difference to you. Arnav just kept looking at her shocked.

Khushi: What's the need of lying in front of everyone there? I am not studying! Infact I have just became a burden on you which creates many situations to embarrass you,but I will make sure that it doesn't happen again...I don't want to be a inconvenience for you in anymore..." I'll not make any appearance with you and...

Arnav: Enough!! Enough Dammit!

Arnav: Will you keep your mouth shut and hear me? And don't you dare to call yourself an inconvenience for me?

Arnav tried to control his fury looking at shocked Khushi whose sobs has been stopped with fright.

Arnav: Khushi! I Love you, you mean world to me. Please don't think negative. I am proud of having you in my life, like I said earlier, I don't feel embarrassed.

Khushi: But there you were trying to cover up saying that I am planning to study further?

Arnav: That was not a lie! I was serious you are going to continue with your studies.

Khushi: That means you want me to get educated so you don't have to feel embarrassed in future like today therefore when Neha ji insulted me you decided this.

Arnav(mumbling curses): No! Yes I want you to study further but not because I feel embarrassed but because I don't want you to hide yourself like you always try when it comes to join me for any party or social events. (cupping her cheeks) I Don't have any problem Khushi I Love you as you are but I don't want my fierce Khushi hiding just because she feels she'll do any mistake and people will taunt her.
Arnav: and I have not suddenly decided it after looking at Neha's behavior. I had decided it long ago when we have stayed at house of that Dhaba owners when you have shared your wish to study further and how you were unable to do that because of the unstable situations.

Khushi: Kya? (What)

Arnav: Yea! Infact I was searching for the best colleges and was in process of completing admission procedure. I thought to surprise you once everything is done but Neha's behavior and your tears made me spill everything, he finished in sad voice.

Khushi(sobbing): I am sorry! I again took you wrong when you have already assured me.
Arnav: It's Ok! Now stop crying, in fact let me show something to you.

Arnav(handling her some documents): Here look at this, this is your admission form for college.

Khushi(nervous): Arnav ji I understand that you don't feel embarrass because of me but I think there is no need of this (she said looking at admission form).

Arnav: Why?
Khushi: Arnav ji I am married now and I have many responsibilities to look as a wife, as a daughter-in-law of house. It doesn't look if I start studying now.

Arnav(sighing): Khushi you're married that doesn't mean that you can't study, many women does And Khushi you're just 20! You got married early that doesn't mean you shouldn't think about your dreams anymore. Khushi you can't keep everyone happy if you're not!
Arnav: Khushi think wisely, do what you want, what makes you happy! I did what I felt right I didn't want you to feel low on mostly every occasion just because you feel you doesn't belong among them. I want to see my confident and strong Khushi in every situation but I wouldn't force you, decision will be only yours.

Khushi: Arnav ji you're right but family also have some expectations from me as elder daughter-in-law. Nani and Di was already asking for their junior chotte and...

Arnav: What did I told you before? You'll keep others happy only when you're contended with yourself.

Arnav: About Nani's wish I don't plan having child so soon.

Khushi(stunned): Why? You don't want Kids?

Arnav(frustrated): What wrong with you women? Making your own assumptions.
Arnav(calmly): Khushi you're just 20! Very young to carry another life inside you! I know according to Nani you're enough mature but I can see what they can't! I am your husband Khushi and I know you are young and somewhat week to carry child inside you at present. You keep fainting now and than, what you need right now is to take care of yourself and stay happy.

Arnav: We have just started our life Khushi , I have achieved what I wanted but you need to take step and complete your dreams before climbing another step in our life. Why to leave any regrets for future when you have chance to prove yourself and show everyone who thinks bad about you that what you can do.

Khushi looks at him numbly unable to decide what should she say! She was too much overwhelmed to say anything , so she just hugged him sobbing and Arnav understood her need of having support.

Arnav(Kissing her forehead): Do what makes you happy, don't think about anyone for once. Just decide it for yourself!

Rest assured I'll handle everything, our family also. Khushi nodded still in hug and Arnav kept murmuring sweet nothing in her ears.

Arnav looks at sleeping form of Khushi in his arms and guilt covered his face. These days whenever Khushi misunderstood his actions and words he remembers his own words he used to whirl on her when he misunderstood her for having affair with Shyam. How badly it hurts him when she take some other meaning of his actions than how badly it used to hurt her when he used to spit venom on her for completely wrong reason, he can understand it now though still not completely.

Arnav: Khushi I promise you to support you in whatever decision you take. Your happiness is my first priority. You have always proved yourself as a best partner for me whenever situation demanded, now it's my turn and I wouldn't fail you that's my promise!
