I too am confused. Could this invitation be a well planned strategy to confuse the Shah? Where does Jalal's declaration of 'talaq' x three fit into the whole scenario?

tomorrow being Friday, am sure CVS will leave us hanging over a cliff. Just like you all even I am confused to why HB called in the Shah e Iran envoys. If before I could understand. Hope Birbal and TM pitches in and put some sense to HB.

I some how feel the Talaq scene will indeed be a dream of someone..But we will have to wait surely till next week to figure this out..

Today's episode was an average one, nothing MAJOR happened, but it has left us in a situation where we are still very confused about whats to come.

I am not sure about HB having a plan, but I would be super happy if all of this was an elaborate well laid out plan to throw the Shah off track. It would be good to see some Tedhapan from Tedha Jalal's mother. I really hope your prediction comes true.

Whatever happens in the palace tomorrow, is going to have its repercussions there. So if that Tallaq sequence is not a dream, its definitely something that has happened in the palace that led to this.

I am very intrigued as to how the Ambassadors even came to Agra, shouldn't their dealings be only with the king. I guess the Shah and HB really want to sort the matter fast, and that is why the dealings are happening off hand. But in the end, nothing that hapens there is valid until Akbar agrees. If this is not Hb's plan, then something is going to happen, I just want to know what? :p

My most Favorite scene of today was the Letter scene. I am liking Salim too. So sweetly Jalal asked Salim to read as he cant, though the husband wife relation should not be in public. We got to see the Father son bonding too via this scene. Salim the way he read "I LUV U" and Jalal expressions was just awesome..Can understand Salims happiness , when he read how much his parents care for him. Being away from them for so long he missed many precious moments and for him it takes time to understand his parents unlike Murad and Daniyal who were in the palace.Very true.

We got to see Jalal motivating his soldiers and preparing them for the war, Jodha trying to reconcile with HB and Ruks never leaving a chance to insult Jodha.😡. Well I will wait for the day when again Ruks Plans flops and then I will take a sigh of relief for all the grief she caused me.😃

Precap - I really hope Jodha stays Calm, composed and does the right thing and not again succumb to HB and cry. This is all I need

The Talaq promo, am not even thinking about it as I know some drama may happen but the divorce will never happen.

Preet Salim is child of JJ. Parents no matter what children do, forgive their children eventually as their love is unconditional. Children will understand this also and Change gradually. For me Salim is JJ son and just like JJ, I will accept Salim too. That said am not looking for SA track and all. Very Minimal of SA is okay with Minus Ruks will be a bonus. For me Salim is at least open, frank but not cunning back stabbing like Ruks. Any day I prefer honest people to backstabbing. This is why till date my least fav character is Ruks.

I will not support Salim fully but he was away from parents for so long and the agony he had to go through, we cant compare. When Murad and Daniyal had a chance to be with their parents, salim did not and hence the disconnect. If we think from his POV we will understand. Deep inside he loves them thats why he gets angry so much. but slowly now he is getting to know them and changing his attitude.

I am completely unaware of the grounds on which a husband can announce 'talaq'. I am assuming that there should be reason good enough enough for him to do so. Jalal knows that Jodha will never go back on her promise to him. Therefore him announcing 'talaq' in a fit of rage seems improbable.

If Jalal is shown announcing 'talaq', then the TRP's go further down. I do not think the Creatives will take this route.

My 'thinking' also tells me that this 'talaq' announcement could be a part of Rukaiyya's colorful 'afeem' induced dream, after all she is desperate to see Jodha unhappy.

Despite all my efforts to convince myself that Hamida Begum is genuinely disappointed with Jodha, why is it that I am unable to shake off the feeling that all this anger, rebuking of Jodha etc is just an act to mislead the spies of the SEI and that Jalal himself is fully aware of it.

As u said Charu, hope we get to see some TM Birbal problem solving skills. I can take it any day than watching Jodha getting insulted that too especially when it involves Ruks. I am surprised even after living with Ruks for so many years, no one understands Ruks intentions or may be all knows and they just ignore and live with it. I mean today the main reason she wanted Jodha there was to watch HB insulting Jodha.

@bold: good Point. I love to see the love you have for Ruks..😆😉 Honestly Charu, after watching the episode and coming and reading every ones comments in this thread is indeed a stress reliever for me, especially if it has any Ruks scenes whose sole purpose is to belittle JJ.

Gone are the days, when towards the inception of the serial, I use to actually like the way her character was etched out. She was this proud, vain yet vulnerable childless first queen of Jalal who was hanging on insecurely to her 'audha'.

Over a period of time, she was turned into a complete malicious, venomous, spiteful character, totally devoid of any trace of nobility. Of late, she has become unbearable. The Creatives are responsible for her character to be universally disliked. Hers is one amongst several other character portrayals that they have messed up.

After all this contemplation, I feel the Talaaq sequence is going to be something very NORMAL, maybe the promo was just given to cause this stir. :p

@Bold: SO true. When Rukaiyya's character was introduced, it was actually different. She seemed like that Boastful first queen, who did not care much about the other begums, but I guess after Maham left, they were in need of a proper villain and decided to make Rukaiyya just that. Sometimes I feel bad for the real Rukaiiya, must be rolling in her grave seeing how badly portrayed her character is.

However negative Maham was, she was never termed as 'irritating', Rukaiiya just seems to be getting on everyone's nerves.

I hope today's episode has a little more 'action' and progress in story compared to yesterday's. I can't go through the weekend still wondering about what is the reason for this 'Talaaq'.

And Charu untily ou brought it up I never thought that HB could actually have a plan, but now I'm rooting for that to be true. It would be perfect. :)

I liked Jalal's speech to his soldiers prior to war. His words clearly reveal his purpose behind the attack.

Rukaiyya may experience temporary victory but all her vicious plans will backfire.

I too believe that there will be no 'talaq'. The very idea is insensible. Hence I believe that this idea has been cooked up in Rukkaiyya's head.

My pov , is that Hb still have no plan up on her sleeves ... Sorry , but my experience of watching JA tells me that no one has backup plans and if they have it will be worst case plan as in case of loopholed atifa track ... But may be the promo can be a plan of jalal or Ofc afeemised dream of Dayaan 😉 Or maybe Jo n RB works something I like that along with jalal 😕 ... Well , we should wait till next Monday to know the full plan 😭
