Chapter 12

Riya looked at Arjun whose eyes were closed and was leaning in the chair. She slowly spoke "Arjun?" Arjun opened his eyes and looked at Riya who gave him small but genuine smile he also smiled back and then looked at Sameer. Who had saw this small interection. There was silence which had took over them. But this silence was not awkward but not also pleasant it was some kind of like unsaid understanding passing between them.

Finally Sameer decided to break this silence, "Arjun-" but was cut by Arjun "Haan Sam mujhe pata hai tere pass bohot sawal hai", Arjun looked at Sameer who was surprise and happy because his best friend had address him as Sam after years, "ur me uske jawab bhi dene wala ho" Arjun said

"Juno tu aur Riya? I mean me ye janta ho kit u Riya ko pehele se janta ho" Sameer said and looked at Arjun who raised his eye brow at the mention of him knowing that he and Riya knowing each other from before.

"Mr. ACP Arjun aapko kya lagta hai aap hi observation me talented ho? Jab hum jungle me the tab tumhne hi ring ko dekh ke bola tha ki ye ring Rey ne 6 months pehele li thi and tumhe dikhyi thi aur Riya ko bhi 6 months hi hoye hai" Sameer said smirking to which Arjun nodded, "Toh ab bata?" Sameer continued.

Arjun took a deep breath and started talking, "Me Ri ko I mean Riya ko 2 years se jaanta ho, me aur riya ek case ke suran mile the. Rathore tumhe yaad hai me ek mall me gya tha.." And he started to tell him how Riya and Arjun met how they fought how arjun opened up then there friendship his bond with Rey and Kriya and how he asked out Riya to be his girl and all.

Sameer was listening and was happy to see his friend move on and having the beautiful life but was sad somewhere coz he was not a part of it. But Sameer know somewhere or other it was his mistake in not believing his friend and not trusting him. But now he was happy for his friend and mentally promised himself that whatever happens he will always trust him and Sameer was also ready to redeem his broken friendship with his best buddy.

"Riya thank you mere dost ko wapis jeena sikhne keliye" Sameer said to Riya to which Riya smiled brightly and said, "Sir aapko thank you bolne ki koi jaroorat nhi hai. Me Arjun se pyaar karti ho aur uska saat humesha dongi" Riya said and continued "Sorry sir hum nhi chahte the ki aap sab ko iss tahra se mere aur Arjun ke rishte ke baarme pata chale and sir we both are really sorry for not telling you guyz"

"Arjun Rawthe aur sorry" Sameer joked chuckling to himself which brought smile on Arjuns face too. But again Sameer got serious and asked, "Par tum dono ne humse ye sab kyu chupaya?"

"We had reason for it Sam" Arjun said, "Sam tu janta hai mere bohot saare dushman hai par koi bhi mere personal life me nhi aata hai sirf ek ko chodke" Arjun said

"Sikandhar?" Sameer said which more like a question

"Haan Sikandhar, Sam Riya forced join karne se pehle ek simple ladki thi aur ab bhi hai. Riya abhi bhi gun chalene se dharti hai aur jab me aur Riya dost bane tab Riya ki sirf training shuro thi aur me koi risk nhi lena chahta tha Riya ki jaan ko leke. Already ek baar risk leke dekh chukka ho Sam aur ek baar nhi dekh sakta ho" Arjun said and closed his eyes tightly as a tear drop rolled down his cheeks as he remember Roshani's brutal death.

Riya was going to go towards Arjun but was beat up by Sameer. Riya was Sameer putting his hand on Arjun's shoulder and confronting him. Riya knew this was best both the friend need to open up as its high time. So she sat in the corner silently.

"Arjun m sorry I didn't believe you" Sameer said, "I should have believe you m really sorry"

"Same no need to be sorry tum bhi apne bhi apne sabse aachi dost ko khoya tha" Arjun said with choking between.

Sameer couldn't hold his sight seeing his strong friend so vulnerable and pulled him into hug. He hug him tightly as much as it was possible. Arjun to response to hug with same tightness. After few minutes they broke the hug both had tears in their eyes. This all was witness by Riya who was happy to see Arjun with his best buddy of whom he spoke the most.

Riya remember one time when all the four Rey Kriya Riya and Arjun who were talking about friends

*Flashback*

Kriya was telling them about their dance group and their friendship to Arjun and Riya happily.

"Aur phir na Rey aur Swayam aur sabne milke mujhe aur Sharon ko manaya" Kriya said

"Wow" Riya said, "I really adored you guys friendship"

"Haan bhabhi mujhe toh ab tak yaaken nhi hota hai ki ek time tha jab Sharon and Kriya ek dusre ke saamne khade nhi ho pate the aura b inn dono ki friendship mere aur Sharon se bhi strong hai" Rey said

"Rey tum aur Sharon ek dusre ko baachpan se jaante ho na?" Riya asked

"Haan me Sharon aur Vickey hum teeno childhood friends hhai" Rey said

"Arjun Jeeju aapka koi best friend nhi hai?" suddenly Kriya aske and all the head turned towards Arjun with curiosity in their eyes which made Arjun chuckle to himself. He just nodded his head and said, "Tha aur abhi bhi hai"

"Koun?" All asked Arjun together making him smile.

"Arjun tumhara best friend hai? Tumne mujhe kbhi bataya nhi" Riya said with a pouting face which made Arjun laugh, "Err ye sab chodo aur batao kuan hai wo beechara joh Arjun Rawthe ka best friend bane ki galti kar betha" Riya continued jokingly.

"Beechara?" Arjun chuckled "Woh koi beechara nhi hai Riya"

"Koun hai yeh who?" Riya asked
