PART 19 : THE UNSAID PROMISE

Sharon came out of the washroom washing her face and found swayam sitting on the bed...she wiped her face with a towel and looked at him ... he gave her a lost puppy look...

Sharon walked out of the room...

"goodmorning taani..." she sat beside taani and peeped into the newspaper that taani was reading...

"kaam kiya???" taani asked...

"haa... bilkul... aya tha subah subah chai leke..." she laughed and did a high five with taani...

"waise hows your wound bhabi???" taani asked with concern...

"dard to bilkul nahi hai... n I think bhar bhi gaya..." She looked at her shoulder...below her t shirt she still had a small bandage covering...

"maine kaha than a... aap jaldi thik ho jaogi..." taani gave Sharon a small side hug...

"waise taani...mujhe aaj shopping jane ka maan hai,..." Sharon asked with a pout... at that moment rey and swayam came out of their rooms...

"ek second mai fit karti hoon..." taani said and looked at rey who sat on the sofa after taking his bath...

"pata hai rey... maine kal kya sapna dekha????" she asked with a smile... swayam narrowed his eyes looking at taani while rey looked at her and shrugged his shoulder...

"yahi ki aap mujhe shopping le gaye ho and I bought a lot of things..." swayam's face broke into an amused smile while Sharon bit her cheeks to stop bursting out into laughter...

Rey had his eyes closed...the lazy Sunday somehow convinced him to sleep some more...with his eyes still closed he answered back...

"aur maine bhi ek sapna dekha..."

"kya kya..." Taani shifted on the couch with excitement...

"maine dekha swayam bill pay kar raha tha..." As rey completed both swayam and Sharon bursted out laughing and rey smiled with his eyes still closed and taani made a disgusted gace...

"kisiko pay karne ki zarurath nahi hai...i can finance myself..." She got up in anger... Then she looked at Sharon... " bhabi chalogi mere saath????"

"of course.. always ready for shopping and more shopping and more n more shopping..." Sharon said with a laugh and they got ready...

As the two girl's got down they saw rey and swayam waiting for them beside the car... seeing rey there taani started walking towards her car while swayam stopped her...

"taani...mazak tha yaar... chaal ab natak mat kar..." taani and Sharon sat in the back seat while rey took the passenger seat with swayam driving...

As they entered the mall taani went towards the clothes shop... swayam asked rey to follow her while he himself followed Sharon into the watch shop...

Sahron was moving around the shop looking at the different watches with swayam quietly following her which irritated Sharon to the core...

Swayam really liked a watch for Sharon...it had a a silver band with a large round dial with small pink stones studded there... he noticed Sharon also liked it as she was looking at it for a long time but she didn't pick it up... In fact to his astonishment she didn't pick any of the watches and went outside... swayam bought the watch for her...

Then he quickly came outside and saw Sharon and taani discussing something and rey holding a small pocket..it didn't take much time for swayam to guess that it was for taani...

"bhai... movie dekhte hai???" taani asked him...

"yup... good idea... rey tu in dono ko le ja upar... mai ata hoon... and yeah tu pop corn le lena.. mai tickets leke ata hoon.." swayam asked rey ...

As rey and the two girls went upstairs swayam went to finish his job...

After sometimes he came upstairs to the multiplex and bought the tickets and met them ... They went inside and settled in their seats...the two girls were sitting side by side and swayam and rey beside their wives respectively...

Throughout the movie swayam held Sharon hand tightly in his and unexpectedly Sharon didn't protest...

After the movie they came out...

"chal mai ghar chalta hoon... taani tum ruk jao swayam k ghar..." rey told taani...

"nahi...tu bhi chal humare saath..." swayam convinced rey to stay with them...

After dinner taani came to swayam... "bhai aaj aap hi bhabi ki dressing kar do..." usually taani used to do it for Sharon as swayam never wanted to go close to her...

"of course ... tu so ja... I think rey kamre mein cahla gaya..." swayam smiled at her... taani smiled back seeing swayam back to normal...

"waise taani... thanks a lot... For everything..." swayam pulled her into a tight hug...

"aap mujhe thanks bol rahe ho...????" Taani faked a shocked look and the brother sister broke into laughter...

Swayam went to the couch and picked a packet from there... he came back to taani and gave the packet to her...

"ye tere liye..." taani took it getting totally surprised and peeped into it to see a small pooh soft toy...

"awwee... iski kya zarurath thi bhai.." taani pulled it out and cooed into it...

"tune socha bhi kaise ki mai apni behen ke liye kuch nahi launga..." Swayam had bought it before buying the tickets...

"thanks bhai..." She hugged him again and they went to their rooms...

Swayam locked the room behind him and went to the cupboard to bring the first aid box... He sat on the bed beside Sharon while she looked at him with a frown...

Swayam moved forward and touched the hem of her t shirt while Sharon said...

"ye kya kar rahe ho tum????"

"dressing karni hai..." Swayam said softly looking into her eyes but she removed her gaze...

"koi zarurath nahi...I'll manage..." she was about to move away but swayam held her wrist...

"mujhe hak hai Sharon..." he said huskily and Sharon didn't have the heart to say anything else... he slowly pulled the sleeves of her t shirt down and removed the bandage... the wound has healed... just s small mark was visible but it still needed medicine... Swayam applied the medicine and covered it again with a fresh cotton and fixed it with a bandage tape...

"abhi bhi dard hai kya????" he asked softly ... Sharon looked into his eyes and nodded her head indicating a no...

Swayam gave her a tight hug carefull enough not to hurt her... she did hug him back gently...

Swayam took out a box from his pocket of track pant and handed it to Sharon... as Sharon took it she gave him a perplexed look .. swayam gestured her to open it... she opened it and found the watch she liked from the mall... She looked at him and gave a small smile ... swayam smiled back at her... she kept it on the side table and swayam made her lay down on the bed covering her with the duvet... he adjusted the temperature of the room and himself laid down beside her for the first time on his own , without her insistence and hugged her tightly closing his eyes for a peaceful sleep...
